Interesting short time-travel show that doesn't feel rushed

This is a great short show. The storyline is interesting even if the basic premise isn’t explored well enough in my opinion. In that I mean that there aren't enough missions or healing/curing of patients which there should have been since that is why FL travels into this new world/dimension. Not that it ruins the show but it does make it feel like it has some unlocked potential. At least it didn’t feel rushed and the ending was actually pretty good.
Character wise:
FL is a modern day medical student who somehow travels in time/dimension. There, her identity is a princess from an adjacent state. She is medical skilled, resourceful and has a strong personality - unlike many of the women around her. One thing that occurred to me was that FLs bedside manners could use an update, LOL.
ML is a calm and cunning prince that hides a lot of secrets including a strange illness that FL seems to have a beneficial effect on.
Acting wise this was pretty good. The actors did a great job with their characters despite the limited timeframe.
So, if you like a romantic time-travel story - with an interesting storyline - this is definitely well worth watching.

Interesting time-travel themed short show with food for thoughts

This is an interesting short show. The storyline starts off quite simple but soon gets more complicated since more than one person goes back in time. I see this show as trying to play with “What if…” in the sense that these people get a chance to see what happens if they make other decisions now than they did back then. Quite an interesting thought that I think many of us have had at some point in life.
Character wise:
We have this sweet and kind FL who is abused by her husband and commits suicide but is somehow given the chance to go back 10 years before she chooses the wrong person to marry.
We also have this nice and caring ML who is drugged and tricked into marrying a woman he doesn’t like who also commits suicide. He also gets the chance to avoid his miserable life.
The two of them were in love back then so now they get a chance to be together. Will it be possible to live another life and be happy, or is the life they ended up in really their unchangeable destiny? That is what this story gives us a take on.
Acting wise this is pretty good and the actors portray their characters well within the limited timeframe.
So, if you like a good time-travel/dimension-travel story - with a satisfying ending - this is actually well worth watching.

Funny and lighthearted romantic story

This is a funny, lighthearted romantic story with really good actors and a storyline that keeps you engaged.

As often with this actress we get a strong/adamant/kind FL, able to fend for herself. This ML is calm/warm/loyal/nice but powerful when needed.

Despite it being short and some subs were inadequate (YouTube playlist), I truly enjoyed this one. Definitely well worth watching.

investigative version of the “Modern day Doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story

This is a great, lighthearted, investigative version of the “Modern day Doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story.

This version has an aspiring coroner as the transmigrated person so the storyline is mostly about crime-solving.

I loved this peppy/clever/carefree FL and powerful/calm/nice ML. Although focus is on the case, there is actually room for romance (good chemistry).

This is definitely well worth watching but beware the ending.

Great “Harem fight”-production with great twist

This is a great “Harem fight”-production with really good actors and an interesting storyline that contains a great twist in the end.

I loved this strong/adamant/fierce FL but I can’t say I even remotely liked the weak/manipulative/cruel ML.

Normally I shun away from Harem fights, but this one I liked - both the production and the ending. Definitely well worth the watch.

Nice transmigration, costume production

This is a nice transmigration, costume production with an interesting storyline. The summary should rather say that she has to mess with 5 men in order to obtain their beads, not marry. And she never becomes a female version of “Wei Xiao Bao”. I guess the one who wrote the summary didn't actually watch the production - or had some other glasses on than me.

Acting wise this is difficult to rate. I know it’s set in the comical universe, but I did find FL too excessive in her speaking - or rather yelling to a point where my ears were bleeding, LOL, and body language. Not that I didn’t like her character because I did - it actually had a depth that is sometimes missing in short/comical productions. It was just too peppy for me.

I found that the “Moneymaking”-arc was too extensive and the “Bead”-arc underdeveloped (and that is what it should have been mostly about). The “Power struggle”-arc was good.

Well, if you need something funny, not angsty and with an interesting storyline, this is worth watching.

Great detective story with lots of eye candy

I admit, this is one of the productions with the most good-looking cast I’ve ever seen. Even the supporting actors/actresses were pure eye-candy (which is pretty much the premise of the story). But this is also a great detective story. Even if I guessed “the villain” and his identity almost right away, the storyline and unraveling of the case(s) was interesting. The twists and turns were nicely executed and kept me a bit confused as to exactly why and how - that’s always a sign of a good story. And even the romance between the main leads was nice to watch with a natural flow to it.
Character wise, I liked that this FL was smart but not overly smart and her martial arts was really good but she wasn’t invincible nor was she fearless. A character that wasn't one-dimensional. I found ML to suit the job, since he had to be highly intelligent, calm and fearless. He had a strong presence.
Acting wise this was great and the chemistry between the main leads was good, not sizzling but suitable for their respective characters.
So, if you like an intriguing and romantic detective-story, this is definitely well worth watching.

Surprisingly entertaining mini-show

What a surprise that was. This turned out to be a great mini-show. The storyline was romantic, passionate, intriguing and a bit exciting. I don’t think I have seen anything quite like this.
From the comments section I expected something bland and not that interesting but this is anything but. It might not be the story of a century but it doesn’t have to be as long as I am entertained - and that I was.
Character wise:
We have this mentally strong, fearless and persistent FL who will do just about anything to get her “story”/headline. In doing so she meets this ML who is somewhat of a chameleon. He has a hidden identity causing him to shun all personal relationships. Their meeting and falling in love turns their worlds upside down.
Acting wise this is great. There aren't a lot of characters and the chemistry between the main couple is what fuels this show. Sizzling might be the best word for that, LOL.
Well, if you like a good romantic drama - with an intriguing storyline - this is definitely well worth watching.

Funny and romantic mini-show with time-travel theme

OMG this is a funny and romantic mini- show. The storyline of time-/dimension travel isn’t exactly new but this has some twists that sets it apart from others. Only downside is that it has an open ending. But that might be a good thing because it means that there must be a second season in store for us at some point.
I have been following this couple and seen a large part of their work. I must say that they keep improving. The first productions were visibly low-budget but this one has the feel of a normal budget production - even if the fast pace and abrupt editing gives it away.
Character wise:
FL is a cute and kind woman who first encounters ML after he time-travels to modern time. ML is a fierce empirical guard to the presiding emperor who, in a fight with the Grand Perceptor, ends up time-traveling to modern time.
2ML is the Grand Preceptor who has a history with FL who now doesn’t remember him. He is strong and adamant in pursuing FL. He has even changed his face to look like ML.
The two men end up battling each other in order to get FL and a couple of other characters interfere and chaos breaks out.
Acting wise this is pretty good. All the actors do a good job with their character given the limited timeframe. Personally I really like Samael and Lilith because they make different kinds of stories.
So, if you like a fast paced mini-show - with fights and romance - this is definitely well worth watching.

Nice fantasy mini-show

This is a nice fantasy mini-show. The storyline might not be all new and refreshing, but it is interesting.
Character wise we have this little plant that has recently taken human form (FL). She is kind and naive. ML is a strong and powerful immortal that is somehow connected to FL but also possessed by something evil that takes over under certain circumstances. FL seems to be able to subdue the evil in ML.
Acting wise this is good. There isn’t much time for the actors to shine given the short format but the actors do a good job.
So, if you like a nice fantasy mini-show, this is a nice watch.

Nice crime solving mini-show with lots of magic

This is a nice lighthearted mini-show. The storyline is mostly crime solving and the art of magic. In that way it’s quite unique. Sadly the subs were pretty bad so a lot of the dialogue and thereby explanations were nonsensical. Sometimes the scenes made sense even without good subs but often they didn’t and I guess I might have missed a few points along the way. What a pity.
Character wise:
FL is street smart and cunning. A rare kind of FL that I actually like. She is too childish for my linking but her abilities make up for that.
ML is clever and observant. He might be a little stiff but his ability to solve crimes is great.
Acting wise this is a good show. I did find that FL was a bit over the top perky but Chinese shows love to make FL perky and childish in order to be “cute”.
So, if you like crime solving and magic, this is actually worth watching.

Kind of odd mini-show but surprisingly entertaining

This is a kind of odd mini-show but surprisingly entertaining. The storyline of a girl with blood that can cure all diseases is utter nonsense but the premise of this story. You just have to buy that like you do in sci fi and magical themed shows.
I especially love the ending since there is a major twist.
Character wise we have a strong and rich ML who has a strange disease and a FL who has the blood to potentially cure him. When they fall in love it complicates matters.
Acting wise this is perhaps not top shelf but it’s good enough. The chemistry between the leads is great.
So, if you can buy into the story, it is actually worth watching.

Quite entertaining even if there isn't much new about it

What a surprise. After reading comments I had my hopes somewhat crushed but I decided to watch this short show anyway because I like the ML. The storyline isn’t new and nothing out of the ordinary happens yet somehow I was quite entertained.
Character wise there is this clever ML who is a CEO of a big construction company. There is also a FL that is the daughter of a deceased owner of another construction company. Although she is a capable professional she is also affected by her fathers death and the following repercussions.
The two main leads grew up in a non-biological brother/sister relation (family ties) but both of them fell in love with each other at a young age. The death of FLs daughter and misunderstandings at that time causes the two to separate for 3 years. The story begins when FL returns to the country wanting to investigate what happened 3 years earlier.
One of my favorite supporting characters was ML’s assistant and former schoolmate Li Yao. He is a good friend with lots of sensible and constructive advice - and a few more physical interventions, LOL. Who wouldn’t love to have someone like that on your side?
Acting wise this is rather good. There is no cringe acting and everyone does a good job with their character.
So, if you love a romantic drama that is mostly lighthearted, this is well worth watching.

Confusing mini-show with different and intersting storyline

This is an odd but somehow interesting mini-show. The storyline is very confusing and the subbing is even more confusing.
It seems to be about a woman (FL) who is seduced by a snake (ML) in human form. His aim is to impregnate FL. After he successfully does that, different people/entities show up wanting to either protect FL or use FLs “child” (spirit orb/bead) for some special purpose. To make it even more confusing, 2 of the people that show up have the same face as FL and ML. There is an explanation for all that happens, but I didn’t fully understand it.
Acting wise this is rather good for this short format.
So, if you are fluent in Chinese this will properly be quite interesting to watch.

Nice movie with battle between good and evil

This was an ok movie. The storyline of a battle between two dragon-sisters fighting for good and evil isn’t exactly new. The fight scenes and scenery is beautiful (for most parts).
Character wise we get an evil sister helping a man to become emperor and a good sister helping a young man try to fulfill his destiny.
Acting wise this is pretty good but I couldn’t really feel the chemistry between FL (good sister) and ML (Hong Ji) - at least not until the last scene. The chemistry between 2FL (evil sister) and 2ML (King Ning) was way better.
Well, if you like fantasy movies and have an hour or so to waste, this is not a bad watch.
