Nice and sweet story with adorable actors

This is a sweet and funny short show. The storyline is interesting, funny and sweet with a bit of drama. Only thing is those dead-fish kisses. No passion at all, which stands in contrast to the “hot” scenes showing us the physical attraction they have towards each other.
Character wise:
FL is a capable young woman with a somewhat fierce personality. Underneath she has a heart of gold for those who are closest to her.
ML is a sweet and gentle man who is taunted by what happened to his mother.
Acting wise this is not exactly top shelf but the actors do a good job and are nice and adorable (for most parts).
Well, if you are into something sweet and low on drama/angst, this is well worth watching.

Nice low budget mini-show

This is a nice low budget mini-show. The storyline is interesting in there being a kid involved. Other than that, it’s quite cliché.
Character wise:
FL is somehow framed into spending the night with ML, resulting in a kid. She is a kind and sweet woman. ML is a cold CEO who ends up spending the night with FL even if he doesn’t want to. Seeing he has a child, he wants to spend time with him and thereby reconnects with FL. And so the story begins.
Acting wise this might not be top notch but it isn’t anywhere near bad. The actors do a good job within the limited timeframe.
Well, if you look for something simple and sweet, this is actually worth watching.

Nice bromance mini-show set in historical times

This is a nice bromance mini-show. There is only a hint of BL. The storyline is quite simple and easy to follow.
Character wise we have this ML who is assisting the Crown Prince in his attempt to secure his position as the next king. The Crown Prince is a suspicious man so he places one of his brothers next to ML in order to keep him in line. Against the Crown Prince is the Eldest Prince who wants to get the throne for himself.
Acting wise this is rather good even if it is a short format so there isn’t much time to work with the characters.
Well, if you like a nice bromance set in historical times, this is an ok watch.

Time-travel themed mini-show with a twist

This is an ok mini-show. The storyline is a bit different since the time-travel isn’t actually the important part of the story. The recipe (of the wine) and the love story is the core. Sadly the short format makes it feel rushed and the pestering/scheming girl makes it feel a bit cliché.
It also lacks consistency like, she is supposed to be from historical time but dresses like a modern woman (bare legs) on her first day at work (for ML). A woman from that time would have covered herself up and never have shown bare legs and arms.
Even if the story is more serious than funny, there are some rather funny bits like the way she “extinguishes” the fire on her tv, LOL.
Character wise there is nothing special about the show. We get the ML who is CEO (cliché) and FL, who is from Tang dynasty. Side characters are the usual male secretary, the parents and of course the pestering/scheming girl.
Acting wise this isn’t that great but it’s not worse than so much else out there.
Anyway, if you want something fast - and don’t mind the short format and the clichés - this is an ok watch.

Business-themed mini-show to chase away your boredom on a rainy day

This is one of these mini-shows you can watch on a rainy day. The storyline isn’t even close to being new and it’s mostly situated around two businesses and the people running them. There is of course also a nice love story. Nothing much to remember this by but entertaining enough if you have time to spare.
Character wise: Because of the short format we don’t get much depth in the characters but they are quite stereotypical so we have seen them before. No surprises there.
Acting wise: This is actually rather good actors but the directing of “the villain” is kind of off. Too exaggerated. The chemistry between the leads is lacking but the love story is only second after the business-theme so it’s not that big of a problem. Other than that it’s ok.
So, if you want a nice business-themed mini-show to chase away your boredom on a rainy day, this is an ok watch.

Cliché mini-show that doesn’t require a brain

This is an ok show. There is nothing new or special about it - just the usual clichés. Best thing about it is the ending.
I really don’t get these stories where FL acts all tough and sure of her love, then gets scared of a love rival and decides to use 2ML/a childhood friend to try and put a distance between her and ML. It’s childish and immature.
Acting wise this is a little better than mediocre and the chemistry between the leads is only so so.
Well, if you want something that doesn’t require a brain, this is an ok watch.

Ok mini-show with an intersting twist

This is an ok mini-show. The storyline is interesting since an active author is introduced making things extra challenging for the FL.
Character wise we have this strong and clever FL who is supposed to complete her mission and set things back on track. ML is also strong and this time there is a twist surrounding his character. It’s actually intriguing. Sadly the short format kind of ruins things a bit because the story lacks explanation and it’s a bit confusing,
Acting wise this is good but not great. Some of the scenes seem created only to showcase the two main actors.
This show by the same leading actors and actress is the one that’s the least interesting.
Anyway, if you have some time to spare and like mini-shows, this is an ok watch.

Funny and interesting mini-show that will get you hooked...

This is such an enjoyable mini-show. The storyline about a supposedly bandit leader taking over the position of Magistrate is brilliant. The storyline is funny and exciting at the same time since it’s lighthearted.
Character wisee this show has lots of funny and interesting characters. I especially love FL who is not a damsel in distress. She is clever and able to fight for herself. ML on the other hand, LOL….
Acting wise this is a better quality than most mini-shows.
So, if you love a romantic comedy with an interesting storyline - and a few twists and turns - this is well worth watching.

Funny and exciting mini-show

This is a funny but also exciting mini-show. The storyline about a Nine-tailed-Fox and a warlock hunting foxes is very good. There is also an unlikely bromance that is actually nice to follow. The pace of the story and the coherence is great for a mini-show that might otherwise have plot holes (as so many mini-shows does).
Acting wise: They may not be top-actors but they do a good job.
Since it’s so short the characters and story in general lacks depth and development but that doesn't mean that it’s not entertaining.
The graphical side to the story (like spells and shields) is very good but the sound is underdeveloped and let down the show.
Anyway, if you like something fantasy/magical, this is actually worth watching.

Mysterious and interesting mini-show

This is an interesting mini-show. The storyline is mysterious and it’s hard to figure out what is behind all the actions of ML. That is always a good thing. The ending makes so much sense and even if it is a sad one, it is also the right one.
Character wise:
FL is a kind woman whose blood is needed for ML to survive.
ML is a cold and emotionless man (or rather half-demon) who has to do certain things to lift a curse on him. He is very hard to read and manipulates people around him like puppets.
Acting wise this is not exactly top shelf, but it is absolutely not bad. The actors do a good job within the limited timeframe - and the chemistry between the main leads is off the charts. Their scenes are so intense that you cannot avoid being captivated.
Well, if you like stories that are hard to predict, this is a very nice watch.

“You need to be brave in love”

This is a wonderful show. The storyline is romantic, sweet and heartwarming - yet sad and heartbreaking.
It’s a serious case of “You don’t know what you got until it’s too late” - or more precisely “You need to be brave in love”. Sometimes you need a wakeup call in order to man up and move forward - no matter the consequences.
Character wise we have this FL (singer) who has been in love with her friend for 10 years and this ML (director) who has been keeping her at an arm's length due to a promise he once gave his father. While ML is filming a dating-show where FL is paired up with another man, he struggles with his feelings that won’t allow him to let FL go even if she through psychotherapy has given up on her feelings towards him.
Acting wise this is top notch. The actors are great and the chemistry is very good.
So, if you love a mostly lighthearted romantic comedy/drama - with food for thoughts - this is definitely well worth watching.

Good short show with body-swap theme

This is a very good short show. The storyline is a bit mysterious since it’s a body-swap but other than that it’s funny until it gets more serious towards the end. The ending is quite rushed which is normal for these short shows - but at least it's happy.
Character wise ML and FL have a great development from a lean-back (FL) and cold (ML) approach to life to a more loving and responsible approach since they both learn so much being in the body of someone completely different.
Acting wise this is good even if I didn’t really feel the chemistry between the two leads.
So, if you want something lighthearted with good character development, this is well worth watching.

Lighthearted fluffy romance with a fantasy theme

Warning: Contains a few spoilers.....
This is a wonderful, funny show. The storyline revolving around scents is new and interesting. The love between the main leads becomes epic. It does help that it’s real kisses (lots of them) and not those fishy pecks on the lips, LOL.
One of my favorite characters is actually ML's younger brother, “Yu Ren”. He is so sweet, innocent and full of love. The way he helped his older brother with the unwanted love interest was brilliant. Every time he was in the picture I couldn’t help smiling - OMG, he was so cute. By the way, the BL-vibe is downright hilarious. I honestly couldn't help falling a bit in love with that character.
Character wise I loved that the two brothers had a good relationship - unlike so many dramas these days. I also loved the sacrifice the FLs two assistants (shopkeepers) made to give FL and ML a chance to fight for their love. It was extremely touching.
So, if you love a lighthearted, very sweet and funny romantic comedy - with a touch of drama before a very happy ending - this is a “Must watch”.

Harem story I shouldn't have watched

The tile alone should have kept me from watching this one. Sadly, I’m too stupid, so I watched anyway. I really hate this multiple wife universe where the women are little more than breeding vessels. No wonder those “B”s become scheming and calculating in order to survive.
I know the relationship between the Emperor and FL was set to be some kind of “against all odds” love, but the scene where FL is in bed after the snakebite and him having sex with another woman, enjoying himself with a woman that isn’t even his concubine at the time, had me so disgusted with him, I almost stopped watching.
After watching anyway, I realized that the only character I actually liked in this was the Emperor’s brother, Lord Jin. At least he was smart and made conclusions based on facts.
Well, I guess this kind of story isn’t for me.

Sweet and enjoyable short show

This is a funny and romantic short show. The storyline might not be new and refreshing, but it is entertaining.
Character wise:
FL is the author of a novel. She is smart and resourceful. She somehow enters the novel as a side character when she wants to change the course of the story.
ML is the hero in the novel and is set to marry a scheming girl. He is a calm, collected man who is good at martial arts. The appearance of FL turns his world upside down.
The side characters are really interesting and fun to watch.
Acting wise this is pretty good given the limited timeframe and comical aspect.
So, if you want something short and sweet, this is well worth watching.
