This was better in my second watch. At my first, I remember being so invested of getting the truth and was disappointed…
I thought the same! On my first watch, I focused too much on the parts of the drama that I didn't like. But on the second one, somehow I was able to feel it so differently! The chemistry was exploding and I had missed that! What I thought of as a mediocre drama, literally became one of my favourite romcoms 😭 and now I come back to it from time to time
Thankfully the second half got better than the beginning, and 120 episodes went by quick. But it still didn't feel like a sitcom. BongJi couple is SO so cute!!!!!!
I wanted to watch this again, but I held back because the thought was too emotional. But I ended up revisiting it anyway. Kang Dong Won is an insane thing. His acting got me again here.
After watching Unstoppable High Kick, no other sitcom can match up to it. A sitcom is supposed to be unapologetic and really funny, but this one is not scoring so far.
What a hidden treasure of a drama. This is a very rare case of daily dramas where everything in the story is enjoyable till the end, and there's no storyline to skip. Everyone was great in doing their job! I didn't loathe the villains, instead I enjoyed them!
He is amaaaaaaaaazing in Love to the End TT, and so handsome! Has a beautiful smile. And I liked him so much in Unasked Family even though he was one of the bad guys. But why doesn't he have better roles ToT
I miss these old dramas because of how we were able to connect to the character so different from how it's done in newer dramas. They had a realistic rough appeal to them. It's maybe ridiculous and maybe trashy, but that was its charm.
It was a poisonous melodrama that I was immersed in, and frustrated by some annoying things. Repetitive great music that didn’t feel forced, so that the OST gets engraved in you.
It was addicting!
Even though the second half fell a bit from the begining, but the pre-ending arc took an unexpected route, and it was another one of those amazing and heartfelt things about the drama. And Kwon Sang Woo's acting was amazing!!
THIS IS CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED 😭😭 I am so in love with the beautiful Oh Jak Doo. I loved their love, their chemistry, the writing, the story, Kim Kang Woo, Uee, Eric-Cho-Bong-Shik-shi, the accent, the moustache, the mountains, the people, the music; the whole drama is so precious. 😭

It was cool, clever, charming, and romantic! 😍

This is why these old dramas were so good. They didn't try TOO hard. It was naturally detailed
and the actors were refreshing.
It has the same story as its remake but feels so different in a good way. The story was flushed out.
It was beautiful.

It was exactly those old melodramatic stuff.
