This obviously isn't a 9.2 but people don't want to let go of that magic they felt from the first episodes no matter what.
I also thought this drama was magical at first but when it showed its true colors after a few eps I got bored fast. I am not saying that legal dramas only need to have high impact cases but the ones in this series were just tooo plain and boring - and always solved in a similar way. What happened to the character development after a few episodes? Another thing that needs to be mentioned is the almost insulting writing at points towards the end with some of the characters, that was just ugh. Luckily they kind of managed to fix the mess and came back with a good last episode, not great.
Still a decent watch, maybe a 7/10 from me. MDL rating wise 8.5 seems about right. One season is definitely enough.
If the best they could come up with in the first season were these cases (almost all of them being bland & uninteresting), I can't even imagine what they would do in another season. Someone forgot to flush the toilet and then a trial about it...? lol Also, Joon Ho's character set up in the beginning was so adorable with the female lead, but after that he mostly seems to be a mannequin in the background. Whats up with that? As the series progressed I got more and more disappointed by the writer...
Like others have written - just end it on a good note, wrap it up nicely and its all fine. Please no more seasons (and I say this with love).
Smoking? Welcome to korean noir.It was a well written and excellent thriller, that people dont understand that…
They are smart, smarter than you. They created this after watching series like ozark and breaking bad, and wanted to try a different direction with a confused stupid normal person ML - wherein ozark and breaking bad all the regular people more or less turns out to be geniuses in the end. Sometimes its worth analyzing things before writing stuff.
This series should not be allowed to be aired because it is a blatant cigarette advertisement. I do not believe…
Smoking? Welcome to korean noir. It was a well written and excellent thriller, that people dont understand that they intentionelly went for a stupid main lead is surprising me. You don't think the people making these high budget dramas are suuuuper smart? They are.
I'm half way though the drama and I seriously can't understand this 7.8. I'm really enjoying this one. Not to…
Yeah, it easily deserves an 8.5. Korean noir dramas/movies with blood/some gore/sex scenes/nudity etc like this one never get high ratings here. Enjoy the rest of the ride! This is quality stuff!
lol stop caring about ratings, like 30 people have rated it and many of them probably havent even watched it. Just wait.
For me this was a really nice surprise out of nowhere. Maybe the best kdrama of 2022. It was so intense it I felt like I was the ML. Perfect pacing with the slightly shorter eps, and 10 eps in total. Longer review later. I can see this blowing up internationally, not as big as Squid Game but it will have people talking for sure.
I would say that this is the best tvseries ever made. There is not even one single flaw, every single second is pure perfection. I could seriously see this sit at 9.8 right now on MDL.
I used to think that GoT and Breaking Bad were my favorites of all time, but this one feels ten times better than them. Pretty crazy. If this one was fairly rated on IMDB I could seriously see it hitting a flawless 10 out of 10.
I am not saying that this drama is bad since its still airing but its hard to call it exciting so far... Is it only me or has all disney dramas failed in some kind of way?
Is Disney's involvement somehow "killing" kdramas?
Meanwhile they are still casting a man that was convicted of child prostitution /rape in every k drama under the…
Write on his profile page or on your own SNS instead, or writer letters to tvN or his agency. I come here to discuss the drama and mainly watch it for Ji Sung. Maybe you can even try to fly to korea if hes the biggest problem in your life. Stop spamming it here please.
I understand that some people love it but yeah, they kind of went too far with the camera movement (even though I understand its pretty insane how they filmed many scenes) - even in calm scenes the camera couldnt stay still for a second. its flying up and down, right to left, all the time. It made me nauseous after a while tbh and I'm obviously not alone about this... Other than that the movie has many repetitive situations and it felt way too long. The story is also way too confusing/convoluted for a non stop action movie like this. They should have made it more straightforward and easy to understand. CGI could have been a bit more polished. Everything just felt a bit rushed.
After the super exciting trailer I would say its a huge disappointment. Maybe a 5/10 rating from me. The director/writer needs to calm the fu*k down if he gets to make another movie. Yes some scenes were intense I give them that but overall - what a goddamn mess!!!!!

That is how good this drama is.
