knowing that this is a light drama, I feel more comfortable/confident to watch any misunderstanding plot. I’m glad they didn’t drag it and the way they cleared the misunderstanding is super cute and shen xifan busted having feelings for he suye 😝all is well! now we’ll watch their relationship blossoms

no he wasn’t as annoying as he is in the drama 😂😂 he had a minor role in the novel [well, he did help protect her from SA eventually] perhaps the production feels that Mu Chengyun character will bring a lot of progress towards the couple relationship, idk, lets just enjoy his cuteness hahaha

they didn’t really fight but wyf is hiding something from him which really pisses him off and before they could sit down and talked about it properly, he had to fly to Yihe because her sister stubbornly did not want to go back to Nanwu for semester break. but wyf later fly to Yihe to ‘reconcile’ and they met there.

yeah there is that part but it was written from Wen Yifan’s perspective which goes something like this [not words by words but something that I remember]
something like no wonder he (Sang Yan) is mad, not only deceived by wyf but flying to Yihe only to found out his best friend and sister lie to him about their relationship.
But it gave me a whole new perspective of the fighting scene in HL because now I know why Sang Yan is so angry, venting out on DJX and rushing to go back to Nanwu when wyf didn’t reply to his messages
