ML in turns need to grow up, work on his insecurity and learn to trust FL’s love. Just because she doesn’t want to get married, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love you. Trust need to be earn and like Fairy Godmother Pei said “you need to take a step back, another step back and another step back” and one day she’ll be able to trust you completely and embark on a marriage journey together. or if they didn’t get married is also fine, who says marriage is the end game anyway.

If we are talking about 2024, I think probably Lin Yiyang-Yin Guo (AASOL) and Shi Yan-Tang Yang (YAMLF). While we are blessed with green flags relationships in 2023, 2024 dramas seems to show trend on emotional baggage, trauma and toxic relationship. I guess maybe we’ll have to wait until 2025 to get more fluffy romance eg: The Best Things by zlh & xrh. Crossing my fingers that it will be released in Dec 🤞

ep 9 clears a lot of things about both ml & fl in a deeper level. and to me, its no surprised ml doesn’t know why they broke up 😂
