I've always been a novel girlie, and yes, for me, the novel was able to captures the essence of second chances and redemption. I was deeply moved by both LR and PWX's determination to improve to change their second life for the better.
PWX has always been emotionally intelligent, so it was natural for him to adjust his actions in this new life. Meanwhile LR - who was raised to be arrogance and domineering (as a first daughter myself, I can relate), she genuinely struggles to understand and empathise with others. You can see how hard she tries, and when the world was cruel, it's PWX who extends his hand, showing her that she can rely on him.
I've always had a soft spot for green flag men, and PWX has definitely earned a place on that list. Now, finding myself re-watching this drama 😊
