Imma be honest with you. Haha I only watched LR because of ZLH. if the leads are some other actors, I probably wont watch it. I rated it a 10 because during the few first episodes, the rating drop like crazy. So I’m just doing my part to support zlh. lol, probably going to re-rate it after I completed the episodes.
But, if you are a xianxia fan, you like TTEOTM, this is probably a lighter version of it, the supporting casts are funny, plot wise, a little out of place. but why not 😂

In between that they show some important scenes too but I regarded them as fillers because I’m sick of aristocratic backstabbing story. Hopefully ep 18 and above will get more interesting. Completed this drama last month but feeling a bit meh. Pick up the novel recently and just finished reading. It was great, it was amazing. Definitely not your typical princess story. I know drama and novel should be treated differently but I wish the production team have adapted it better. My favorite lines from the novel,

Lady Veena is really something. I couldn’t find the right words to express how annoying she is. How is she able to produce a cheerful daughter like Venus, I have no idea. I guess the father must be normal and doted on her a lot, to compensate with that overbearing mother.
Anyway, I’m glad they made progress with Poncheewa’s pregnancy story. atp I’m sick of her running away from her problems.

I just watched up to ep 8, so my view is limited up to these episodes only. I saw Muslin in the next ep preview 🤦🏻♀️ so not looking forward to that scene
