Another episode that I loved! I can finally say that I'm happy with Sabi's way of interacting with patients. It was really sweet how she made that woman who gave birth comfortable. Everyone was great in this episode.
And I recognized a voice in the preview of the next episode... I can't wait for tomorrow!
I'm saying this because I wouldn't like to see the female lead falling for the dragon inside Yun Gap's body, and ending with him leaving his body in the end.
Nam Gyeong was my favorite in this episode.I like I Yeong, but Sabi hasn’t really caught my interest yet
Oh, I misinterpreted your comment. Sorry about that.
From my perspective, it's understandable to see them struggling to feel more connected to the profession as first-year residents, especially after Minha showed that she went through something similar when she mentioned working on autopilot, like a robot, just following her superiors' orders because of the work overload. That’s why I see that they are also going through this, and they also show that they don't seem to care much and feel detached from the patients.
And Oh I Yeong already went through this when she failed her first year. She is trying for the second time and already knows how much she hated it the first time, because she probably didn’t have to do it back then, as she didn’t have this amount of debts to pay, and gave up all the time because she had money and her parents spoiled her. So I believe that now that she really needs this job, she knows she has no other option, even though she doesn’t want to be there. But she hasn't stopped being the person she was before. We saw her trying to give up in this episode again.
Sabi, on the other hand, is dealing with a different kind of struggle in this job. She’s clearly book smart, but she seems to lack emotional intelligence and has trouble showing empathy or understanding others’ feelings. While I understand that there are people like that in real life, I find myself a bit uninterested in her character so far. She comes across as if she's just following a script, and her behavior doesn’t feel very natural to me. But I’m hoping my impression will change in the next episodes.

Short and lacking of libelous intentions? I would agree with you if I didn’t find this article incomplete, as I mentioned before. The only thing it covers in detail is the actor's agency statement about everything that has been happening, but it fails to give proper information about the actress’s passing or provide her family’s perspective. I’m not saying they should report everything circulating on internet tabloids, but I do believe they should have written properly about the actress’s death in more details than just saying, "Actress Kim Sae Ron passed away in February, and recently, her bereaved family has been making a series of allegations about Kim Soo Hyun". This text feels incomplete because after reading it, you still don’t know how the actress passed away or what these "series of allegations" are. If they chose to include the full statement from the actor’s agency, they should have at least included what her family said.
I find it even stranger that in one of the previous articles about her (posted on April 17, 2024), they wrote, "Kim Sae Ron made headlines after she released a photo of herself with actor Kim Soo Hyun, sparking a dating rumor. The actress abruptly deleted the photo, but many had already taken screenshots of it. Because of this, there were divided opinions against the actress and her reason for posting the photo while Kim Soo Hyun's K-drama was ongoing." This was allowed and considered relevant at the time, but the pictures currently circulating all over the internet — pictures that everyone has already seen — showing her with Kim Soo Hyun from different angles than the one she posted last year, especially after her aunt stepped forward to defend her, aren’t considered relevant enough to write about?

Exactly! A very poorly informed article about the case, and it's even highlighting a statement from the company defending the actor. The way it's worded, like "agency opens up" and "late actress Kim Sae Ron's controversy", seems to back up the company and kind of shifts the focus away from the serious accusations behind all of this. It's hard not to find that strange. I also found it curious that we have to look in the "Recent" tab.
I really hope she gets punished too
I really hope it goes in another direction, but you're probably right.

That's how I perceived it, at least.
