The 'problem' is the final break up (this dramas have a lot of breakups for dramatic purposes) due to Confucius (sins of parents visit the children), even if not required. And although they do come together in the end, it is not very sweet. A kiss of at least a hug wouldn't hurt.

I enjoyed this drama very much. Especially Seo Na Yoon is such a good character, not what was expected from the beginning. Love FL's best friend. If this is an old fashion Korea drama, than I must explore further. But it is true, ti was a little dragging on the end.

Ending is happy. I like how she became more confident and successful on her own and how he became softer and wiser. On that basis their future looks much more promising.

I've learnt a lot about housing in Korea, and the subscription system. How housing situation and fight for every day survival influences people. I admire FL's courage and tenacity. ML was beaten and damaged by life severely and his suffering was sometimes difficult to watch. Human experiences, yearnings, hopes and fears in this drama really touched me and made me think about life a lot.

I looks I'm the only one that wasn't bothered by last episode. For me it was an explanation for FL hunger to survive. I didn't like her mother very much, I think she could've done better than just lean on her daughter and father was even worse. They had sick dynamic - she probably influenced him negatively, he broke and somehow everything became their daughter's problem, in more ways than one. All adding up, I think FL was right to decide the was she did. Ending is not sad. Ending is just like life, things are complicated.

I wanted something to cheer me up. According to the poster, that is what we are intend to get. I was so wrong. Still, though I'm emotionally drained, it was a very good drama. It was difficult to sympathize with anyone. Everyone had their shortcomings. On the end it counts how we are able to face ourselves and what we are prepared to do to change our ways to something positive. This is a difference between ML and 2nd ML. Although ML having much more difficult past he managed to turn his life around. 2ndML was actually mainly jealous and always concentrated on what he can't have and ended poorly. Uh, finally finished. Unfortunately I have no chemistry with FL, neither with actress neither how she is written. FL is constantly stupid and unlikable, somehow she sympathizes with and has understanding for anyone except her son and ML. I have difficulties to understand why would so many people like her so much and babying her constantly. Even ML and the son are also not very well written, both actors did an excellent job and saved a lot. Leo Wu was a child back then, but his talent is obvious. All of them as a family are adorable, so maybe the actress isn't that bad, it si just difficult to act such nonsens of a character. I also liked He Ruo Nan, but other friends were just too much.
It was watchable with constant forwarding and concentrating only on ML and FL and the adorable son.

I'm watching it for a 'only god knows' time. It is still one of y favorite shows. I'm very lucky with this drama: i adore FL, I like ML, music is rally supportive and not annoying, story is seriously funny and funny serious. I laugh and I cry, I'm moved and I'm touched. This is my perfect drama and I can't get enough of it.

I am so happy with the story, that I would like to see it in proper 30 minute episodes, 24 of them, done more sophisticatedly. Acting was a little theatrical here, but still, MIL gets a first prize. A very good portrait of a shameless leach not afraid of any despicable act to get what she wants.

Interesting drama. First time seeing Chen Yu Qi in modern drama and she was great. From vivacious notty girl to experienced woman, but with sparkle. Lin Yi always gives the impression he is seriously in love with co actress and with Yu Qi were so good together it made me cry at every single romantic moment they had together (and I've seen a lot of stuff like this). They were so natural together. Parents, friends, I like them all. Maybe business debakle was unnecessary.

I'm so glad I've found this. FL and ML have great chemistry, they are not silly, it is cute, to warm your heart. She represents a strong positive femininity and he is very manly.
