I agree. I have no objection that she parted with NYZ very cordially. He did a great job in lasts episodes. I am happy for all that got reunited and the ones who decided to marry. But I expected a wedding of main leads. I think this was more important! They are so cute together. I wanted his bachelor night with his buddies, to be hilarious together, I wanted him riding on a horse, in front of red sedan, pompous as he can be. I wanted ceremony in front of parents, I wanted to be cute on their wedding night.... than maybe see la little into the future. Who edited that?????

I second that! I just wanted to check if it is good and wait. I usually do. But while checking I just couldn't stop watching, and here I am, it is nerve wrecking.

First, thank you to explain a little, what they were talking about - I'm so desperate, I watch without subs even if I don't understand a word. 😍 Second, I don't know the mentioned drama, but similarity of the words are, in my opinion, easily explained. I think it is a culture, the way feelings are expressed, maybe some art work (poem or story) from history or very popular. Cant wait! Maybe, in meantime i will check the mentioned drama.

Exactly! When you watch Chinese drama, you have to be prepared to be confused, it is practically ordered by Emperor's decree.😊 I've seen much worst that this drama. I say: watch it, or don't watch it - there are a lot of dramas out there to satisfy everyone's taste. I'm enjoying this drama so much!

People are polarized. Somehow this drama needs to pay for every drama with confusing beginning and story - there are a lot of rants out there. Then, some people don't have a chemistry with ML. It is true, beginning is almost weird and confusing and plot has some holes. But it gets much better later and, at least for me, actors are great and they save whatever is not good with the plot.
FL is very composed (which i find refreshing), dignified, emotionally strong and clever. She is also esthetically very pleasing to watch, not just beautiful but very heartwarming beautiful.
ML is not the pretty boy that are in fashion this days. He si more manly, but also very vulnerable, honorable and occasionally a clown. I like him very much, as a character and as an actor. With FL they are very good together.
I have feeling there will be a happy ending.

Interesting.. I have a strange feeling that she is in love with her husband (I don't know why) and secretly resents her sister for 'stealing' him from her. She made a comment that her sister was a difficult person causing many problems, and they were interrupted before she was able to explain this further. We will see.

Well, I an team ML. Second is to bland for my taste (and his sister is so annoying) and the third has still to grow up. Only ML is good enough for our adorable FL. He is strong enough to protect her, kind to hep her, devoted, emotional nad loving to touch her heart. I like this actor, he can be really disgustedly mean playing bad guys and breaking your hurt romantic playing good guys. I adore FL too, she is so dignified, clever and mature and also very beautiful. So far this drama very enjoyable.

Ha, it looks like her character improved very much. She just needed a little help, love, proper guidance and purpose. I like this improved first madam. And her father too.

Very first episode hints at this. From this and the description of the drama it looks like that when she discovers that her father in law is responsible for her family's tragedy she walks away and separately he leaves the family as well. She finds him as he is preforming shadow puppetry - it looks as he is doing it for a living, so he probably also leaves his official job.

With difference to Minglan this drama is concentrated on the main couple at the begining but soon as they are married, there are stories of other couples an members of the family. Very warm, sad and funny at the same time.

Weird feeling. I like actors, they are not to blame. But I just cant continue. I don't know what is going on, all that is available are high speeches about something and I don't know why. There is no story, just dramatic scenes one after another. So said, but I'm dropping , it makes me nervous.

She is an unfortunate character. She is not been properly guided and cared for. I suspect that woman in her own family neglected her and father did the best he could, being a general not knowing how to raise a daughter. Even her mother in law is more interested to show of how she herself is excellent wife than help her. Until our dear fourth madam no one really saw her as a human being. But it is unfortunate for first son to get her since they have nothing in common. I think first son and third madam would be interesting pair. She wants ambitious man, he wants wife he could show around - she is a beauty. And maybe third son and first madam would be more happy together.

Happy that this drama is finally available. But is seems to surfer lake many other china dramas: : beautiful scenery, costumes and make up, great directing, superb actors an acting, but unfortunately poor editing.

The prince/king eunich is one of my favorite characters. Very charming, wise, loyal and funny. I also agree that child version of FL was better than adult. I don't hate the adult, I think it was good, but child version was better.
