A drama that supposed to be 40-Eps being butchered into 24 Eps, resulting this one being a subpar quality product of entertainment. Many think the main plot is enough, but forgot how important simple or trivial plots were for the build-up of the main plot. Story-wise is good, but to many scene, where it pop out of nowhere when we can felt it supposed to be more well explored. Truly unfortunate.
The last 4 episodes truly seal the deal that make me think, this is the best drama of 2025 so far in term of story-wise.
It really has the best ending not in just the context of good/happy ending. But at the level of satisfictory. It didn't feel rushed or miss something in between. Just in perfect balance.
This also the first drama I experience where it reached Heat Index peak in the end of the broadcast time. Usually, many drama only reached their peak Heat Index in the middle, then fall short toward the end. But this is didn't happen with ADWAD.
now I recall, where did the “method of forging weapon” plot go? it just disappeared. Is this a plot device?…
The method is unattainable even in the OG script. It only serve as the purpose so NH will trick SYM to fall in love with him as a bargain with CGH to get that. However in the current script, CGH already said its impossible to recreate the blade with the method because he thought the archive has been burned by NH.
But later, we know NH still has the archive, but the method that written by CGH's father actually is not real. That chemical equation actually just romantic poetic? if I'm not mistaken by the writer. So, the method actually is not a real deal in the script, which can be used to really made the intended weapons.
But this is just my thought, I can be wrong though.

Nan Heng chose to becamse a good person is a good thing, why this is suddenly linked into SYM's action consequence? The fact SYT also goes along with the plan tell how much she trust her sister idea.

Care to tell me how that plan will drag Nan Heng directly? The only thing I can think of right now is, investigating that case will drag Nan Heng, because Nan Heng, covering the crime of his uncle. Now, who is in the wrong here again? Right, SYM is the wrong one. Nan Heng covering his uncle crime is not wrong.
