After done with Ep 8 then watching preview of Ep 9 and 10, I must say I'm impressed with the drama. It live up to my expectation. After all, the screenwriter's previous work is SOKP and I can see a bit of trace of it in ADWAD.
The way both FL's impression toward ML's in the early episode is quite similar althought not the same. 😲😏

After watching up to Ep 7, I think this drama truly hide its true nature.
Many says this pure comedy while I'm quite agree but only on the forefront.
Behind the curtain, this drama is a bit complicated on entry level.
Especially with the reveal of how General Chu slowly and surely became the main Villain (It might partnered with the Emperor since his act toward Nan Heng is cold.)
This General quite dangerous of how he control his surrounding and gaslighting everyone around him.

So far, we only know the original main story based on SXY's reading the script. So, many still hidden beneath it and coupled with SXY's interference as SYM, the story is unpredictable.
Every action committed by both leads are understandable and make sense if you watch every episode with attention. The have ground for any thing they do. Not just cluessless thing wondering alone.

Watching Ep 1, I thought there's nothing special. But after Ep 2, it caught my interest and make me believe this will reach 30k heat index later and join Tencent hit club dramas.

Well, I dont know much about iQiyi's express stuff since I probably subs for the first time tomorrow despite already has WeTV's VIP and can watch it there too. 😂

There's probably no express for ADWAD. At least, based on the official schedule released, the last 4 eps will be aired/broadcasted from July, 12 - 15. (1 Ep/day)

- Linmon Pictures is the one behind AJTL, which drama that I like and first time know LYN as good actor.
- The Director is the one that made Mysterious Lotus Casebook & Immortal Samsara, dramas That I like.
- The Screenwriter's previous work is Story of Kunning Palace, once again, drama that I like.
- The Art Director's one work before is Love Between Fairy and Devil. I like this drama too.
- Custome Designer's previous works also amazing, thought the dramas are not my liking, I like every costume in it. (Till the End of the Moon, Fangs of Fortune, and My Journey to You)

Those line up of people behind the scene or the maker is the one that made my expectation high.

This drama raising my expectation to high with the Production Company, the Director, the Screenwriter, the Art Director, and the Custome Designer.
Geez! Such a line up is truly match my taste. On top of that, the cast is also spectacular.
