Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you find it helpful 🤗I agree, this is a spectacular wuxia production…
Yeah it's interesting to see court politics and martial arts world co-exist side by side, there's a lot more potential to explore. It's just a shame that there are only 40 eps cause the ending does feel a bit rushed. All of the popular historical C-dramas used to be around 60 eps long like Eternal Love and Love & Redemption.
I guess Huang Chao is just being blinded by his own ambitions. Plus he doesn't know about the Soultaker Sect and…
True, but Joy of Life has a heavier vibe. Whereas WRTW is more on the romance side, like Eternal Love or Ashes of Love. I guess if we're judging based on the golden standard of historical C-dramas, WRTW may not be one of the top. But in terms of production and acting, it's better than most historical dramas out there and should deserve a praise. Plus, not all high-budget dramas work out well. I've watched enough dramas to know to recognise a flop when I see one.

I've been watching C-dramas since forever but I'm still a noob when it comes to the technical side of things. I've learned a lot from reading your reviews. I also really love your review on The Long Ballad and The Imperial Coroner! 😆❤️
Wow I love your detailed breakdown of the show! It's almost like reading a thesis on the history of historical C-dramas. I totally agree that WRTW is great on the wuxia front. The cinematography and wire-works are spectacular. 🤩🤩🤩
After 50 odd days of continuous YY's content ❤❤now I'm officially entering into YY's dramas drought......…
I've been too spoiled these past couple of years. I mean we got You Are My Glory, Glory of Special Forces and Who Rules the World coming out one after the other 😆
Ep 36 is such a sugar hit, diabetes alert! The wedding was so perfect, I've been rewatching that part non-stop. I love how the whole gang is there. We got HFX's father, older brother and followers all smiling from ear to ear. HFX and BFX are still so playful with each other ✨😆❤️
I guess Huang Chao is just being blinded by his own ambitions. Plus he doesn't know about the Soultaker Sect and…
I don't think WRTW is meant to be full-on political like Joy of Life and Nirvana in Fire. It's more focused on the relationship between Hei and Bai Fengxi. But there are still some interesting political schemes going on and YWY is supposed to be the final boss after the Huang Chao 😉
Haung chao realising YWY is something off is ridiculous , they r portrayed for wise characters, yet they can't…
I guess Huang Chao is just being blinded by his own ambitions. Plus he doesn't know about the Soultaker Sect and the evil stuffs going about like BFX and HFX. Maybe YWY makes sure that Huang Chao doesn't hear about those things and start to doubt him. But yes, Huang Chao is a bit dump cause he's helping his own enemy.
Who thinks BFX looks like Joan of Arc in battle gears? Fierce, formidable, fearless, and totally convincing! I…
Agree! From Zhao Lusi's interview, I was impressed with how mature she approached her role, especially with how young she is. Bai Fengxi is cool and dashing, but Queen Xiyun is even more domineering and a total badass. I'm in love 😍😍😍
Whatever tune they were dancing to, must have been an all-cure potion
