should i watch eternal love or this first????which one is better??
Hmmm... that's a tough choice. Eternal Love has more fantasy elements, whereas WRTW is a bit more political and action. Both are great, but I guess you can start with WRTW first since it's shorter and newer :)
Amazing article! LBFAD is the best fantasy drama I've seen in a while with the complete package of top-notch CGIs and costumes, gorgeous OSTs, intricate plot and loveable characters. I would say it has really become one of the cornerstones of the Xianxia genre like Eternal Love, Ashes of Love and Love & Redemption. This makes me want to rewatch the drama again, I miss the cast so much T-T

Tbh, I just don't get the second lead syndrome in this drama, I do feel it a little in ep 1 and 2 but when DFCQ…
Lol so tru, DFCQ is the ultimate boss. But I still feel a bit bad for Chang Heng, he's such a good SML. In this case, I'm having both ML and SML syndromes hahaha...
Just wanted to say your review is written so beautifully. thank you ๐น
Awww thank you so much! I normally don't write reviews so late after a drama finishes airing but this series is way too good to pass. The whole production is already so well put together so I just want to express my admiration for it :)
An absolutely off-topic query.Currently I'm at episode 30.I'm wandering about whether ML regains his inner energy…
Oops I might've replied way too late. From my memory, HFX coincidentally regains his inner energy after he's trying to heal BFX with the plant? they got from the old master in the mountain. It's quite beautiful cause it just shows how they're fated for each other...
So the romance and chemistry is good? Are there any love triangles and is it a happy ending?
The chemistry is good, but there's a lot of angst and the ending is open to the audience's interpretation. I know it might look like a love triangle between FL, ML and the emperor but that's not really the case.
Overall, it's a mellow and bittersweet romance like Moon Lovers and The Journey of Flower. There are lighthearted moments but beware it can get quite heavy. I think the high-quality production makes it a worthwhile watch :)
Ended up really enjoying this. No drama is ever perfect but overall it has good acting, is beautifully shot and…
Yep, Love Like The Galaxy is a must! A Dream of Splendor, Love & Redemption and The Long Ballad are gorgeous and have good plot too. I'm watching Love Between Fairy & Devil and the CGI is amazing... ๐
To those planning to check this out while waiting for EAW, if you liked Eunbin's detailed acting in EAW, she does…
You really nicely summed it up! This drama is taking on what can be a very clichรฉ trope, cross-dressing, and makes something refreshing out of it, kinda remind me of Business Proposal in a way. I love Lee Hwi's girl crush concept, while Ji Woon and Lee Hyun are total sweethearts.
From a saeguk perspective, this has really high production quality and definitely an interesting watch if you focus more on the aspects that are actually done well. Plus, I got to know how versatile Park Eun Bin is through this. I've seen her in Do You Like Brahms but I think she's able to shine and show her acting skills more with a developed character like this. And of course, now we've come to love her as Attorney Woo too :)
Can someone recommend a Cdrama with a smart, tricky male lead. Something like young blood, who rules the world,…
Hmmm "smart and tricky" ML... A Dream of Splendor, The Long Ballad and Under the Power are gorgeous historical Cdramas with intelligent but slightly more serious MLs. If you want smart but playful then The Untamed, Word of Honor and The Imperial Coroner hahahaha...
First ep was good..I'll watch it because of ML since I like him๐
I started watching because of Lai Kuan Lin too! He was so cute in A Little Thing Called First Love. He also has that noona romance vibe like Jung Hae In, I'm excited ๐๐๐
