Yeah I agree with this point as well. I think she was definitely led to becoming the Crown Prince by her mother but stays as one due to the circumstances. Because if she runs away, her nanny and Eunuch Hong would be executed for treason and she would be hunted down as well. And there's no one to help her run away and settle down safely cause, let's admit it, both her father and grandfather are a selfish bunch.

Plus, she was practically an "orphan" before she entered the palace so she probably doesn't know what else to live for except filling in her brother's role and fulfilling her mother's dying wish.

But maybe Lee Hyun will help Lee Hwi and Ji Woon run away at the end, who knows...
