Why are Youku’s subs so bad?? I have watched several dramas directly through YOUKU and it has never been like this and it doesn’t make sense for such a highly anticipated drama.

It’s a bad sign when I am rooting for the ML’s demise. Typically, this kind of spineless, despicable character would be the antagonist in the story.

I was happy to see him get exposed and stabbed him in episode 10. Never before have I rooted for a male lead’s demise.

Unfortunately, the fairy saved him bc he misled her (thinking it was FL). Ugh so frustrating

All of the antagonists have the most annoying face I have ever seen. Lit want to slap them every time I see them lol

8 episodes in and the ML has 0 redeeming quality, making it impossible to root for him and watch. I always love bad guys (LBFAD, TTEOM, Mr. Bad), but I hate liars and men with no integrity. He shamelessly lies and has no remorse to the true god/2nd lead. I will skip around and/or come back when his lies are exposed and he gets punished.

I am enjoying this drama a lot but I feel like there is a lot of talking/build up and not a lot of action? I hope it will speed up once he gets his dragon horns

I love how so many TTEOM fans are here. Jumping from one Xianxia to the next, are we addicted to pain? Perhaps, but let’s enjoy this new journey together hehe 😜

Why are ppl surprised by the ending? Sure, i really wanted a happy ending for him deep down and when he said his life was so hard, i cried like a baby, but he was the DEVIL god (emphasis on devil)! A happy ending was an illogical long shot from the very beginning.

That said, I think script writers left a lot of Easter eggs suggesting a happy reunion for the family at some point (w/o the shadow casted by the devil bone/fetus).

Ps - if the clues aren’t enough, just pretend episode 35 is the happy ending. LSS and CJM cultivates and live happily in Hengyang sect together forever. 💗
