It’s pretty certain it will release now, as there is a big Korean streaming service (Wavve) involved now. They don’t just announce shows they won’t air. A short delay would not surprise me though.

From what we’ve seen, it seems that new companies bought the footage and rights of Wuju bakery from the bankrupt Hanyang. Then they completed post-production and plan to release the series on April 10 to recoup the losses. There is probably no contractual obligation between the new companies and Jeff/Sos and Barcode/GMMTV, which explains the lack of communication and mixed messaging.
I thought that this might release when Studio Genie got involved. If it had been just Cinema Upright it could easily have been a scam but Studio genie is a very large South Korean enterprise. And now that Wavve is involved I’m confident that this will release. Becasue a scam spanning across 3 South Korean companies, some of them big, would be crazy😂
