There is a real difference between millennial and genz/alpha fans I’ve noticed. Maybe it’s because older fans come from an era where fans and creators did not exist in the same spaces….X and tiktok sre a recipe for parasocial toxic behavior and are so different in nature from for example livejournal, tumblr etc.

I agree it is wrong to pressure actors or demand things from creators. That being said I also don’t think anyone has the right to demand how individual people interpret their work. The nature of art is that people can and will interpret it in different ways. Furthermore, I also still think it is questionable to say the least that the production studio and screenwriter approached the webtoon artist and considered purchasing the rights of the BL webtoon in the first place.Since we are talking about real historical figures, why did they not just proceed completely independently from the beginning? In short,
imo there are questionable people on both sides.

I think part of the problem is that there is a lot of BL, but most of it is not good, so that makes people frustrated.

While some people worry about getting their parasocial approval from the cast, I’m here worrying this will have a sad ending. Like imagine if the show ends with Raon leaving Wuju to return to his planet. It would be Kimchay trauma all over again🥹

I mean if it’s very distant it’s like whatever.

To my understanding, if something is related to the series, it can be brought up here. People can just ignore if they want.

Idk the details, just shared it here cause I thought it was interesting🤷‍♀️

This drama about the origins of this series is interesting to say the least😅

Thanks for the explanation!

Can someone explain to me why we are getting some uncensored Chinese BLs nowadays? What loophole did they find?

”You say it's impossible, we say anything is possible!”

Gaga marketing cracks me up🤣they really know their audience lol

I don’t think it’s a hot take haha. My favorites Thai BLs are Kinnporsche,Not me and Khemjira (and for GLs my fave is Clairebell). As a general rule I don’t like romcom (unless it’s an unique concept) so it’s really hard to find good Thai queer series to watch😅

Damn, this is so unpopular here that it’s making me curious😂😁

Around one month until airing and they still haven’t started marketing properly. I hope it doesn’t get delayed again.

To my understanding, AI was used in part for one promotional poster (like with the GL Juliet x Juliet). The series itself is not AI.

I’m really curious if/how Khemjira’s success affected Domundi’s next lineup. I hope we get at least one new plot-heavy BL thanks to this show🙏

To this day, this is the only GMMTV BL that I enjoy😅

If this has proper cinematography and special effects it could be amazing, but if it is done cheaply it will end up very lame. I really hope they invest proper money in this cause this is the exact kind of show that makes it or breaks it depending on budget.

I think this change was a good idea.

I don’t understand how they can adapt this because most of the source material is explicit smut.
