I hope this is proper dark romance and not the typical GMMTV stuff. On paper this looks like my jam but this company always disappoints me. Boun being the scriptwriter is my hope.

They seem to be aiming to go international with this one.Straight/gen shows have massive competition though,so I’m wondering how that will go. Will people outside Thailand watch a het thai drama when they can watch a Western drama or a K-drama🤔I’m genuinely curious how it will turn out since as far as I know the only Thai dramas that have truly made it internationally are BLs/GLs and remakes of already popular het dramas.Also the fact that there’s already like 3 vampire-themed Thai shows coming out this year….

I hope there is more than that since a simple peck doesn’t seem compatible with the darker tone of the show,especially Damon’s serial killer vibes😏

I hope Barcode acts in the Love of Siam musical. Even though GMMTV has more variety in themes nowadays their shows tend to still be terribly formulaic.

My ultimate dream come true would be eventual consensual predator-prey dynamics between Damon and Anawin. I want those two to be little freaks😏

Every show definetly has those fans that are there just for actor shipping or supporting their fave. And I guess it’s fine,people enjoy what they enjoy. However,I remember when I watched Cutie Pie and went to ao3 to find some fic only to find out that it was mostly ZeeNunew rpf,which is quite disappointing when you want to read fic about the characters of the show. I hope their new show does not fuel only rpf like last time since the concept seems so cool to me:/The royal romance thing has so much potential!:)

What I don’t understand is why they ship the actors who are not actually together when the caharacters are right there?Like why not ship the characters🤔like all my ships are character ships (including my fave Kimchay!) and I have trouble understanding the prevalence of actor ships in Thai fandom:/

I hope fixed actor combos and shipping actors would stop. More BL/GL that focus on creating interesting characters and dynamics instead of hyping up celebrities and rp ships. I want character shipping to become the focus again🙏

Anyone know why this compnay is so slow? As far as I know it takes them ages to release a show whether it be this one or others.
