I’m just in disbelief that the pilot just released and they are almost ready to go😮Usually all of the shows I look forward to take ages to air. So I’m very happy about this hehe (this might just be my most anticipated show, not just GL but as a whole)

So I assume Happy Ending has been pushed back by a couple of months (not gonna lie,this makes me think Mike might have been recasted after all due to all the cast change drama with Vamp so they need more time)
As I’m interested in both this and HE I really don’t care which films first as long as we are getting closer to getting something🤞

It could be anyone really. I’m leaning towards Becky/Jeff/Luke myself cause they are the busiest with their schedules. Also, Mike said that some people left and that he is looking for actors, so that would mean more than one actor left. I think they are avoiding official announcements now to avoid backlash from fans and maybe will announce cast changes when they have found replacements. So we might have to wait a while to know which characters will be recast I’m afraid.

This might still air eventually, but definetly not this year (2026 at best,maybe even 2027).If it turns out that both Jeff and Becky left then that would be a huge blow, there’s no denying that. I said this elsewhere, but I hope that if this is still going to be produced that they will rely less on star power and hollywood aesthetics and instead focus on creating a script that will pull in viewers regardless of cast changes. Relying too heavily on big stars can backfire massively if they end up not being available.

I was surprised when they announced multiple seasons for VAMP since they cannot know how the show will be received beforehand. It’s also very hard for busy actors to make commitments like that.This will be a good opportunity to pull the breaks a bit and test the waters first.

I’ve seen rumors floating around that Jeff left Vamp since October but I just dismissed them as some fandom drama or something. Like you I’m currently still leaning towards at least HE having the original cast. We’ll have to wait and see.

I saw a clip from Mike’s live a few days ago and he said some people have pulled out of the project so he is looking for actors. So when Jeff said that he is not sure if he will have other series I thought it might be related to that but idk

He really is very busy. It also kind of sounded like he might pull out of Vamp the series due to scheduling issues.

I want to know something about the plot. So far it’s only the 70s and vibes.My concern is that this will be too artsy.

A bit random but it would be kinda cool if the mysterious woman from the black and white world in the pilot were to be Damon’s mother.
