Domundi’s new lineup was a turn off for me from the start. Too many shows with some sort of show biz setting and the fantasy ones looked too childish for me😕

I think it would be really difficult for someone who is not a stan of any of the actors to enjoy this.A lot of BLs are like this though, so it’s not anything new I guess.

I was originally considering watching Khemjira next but after my disappointment with this one I might have to stay away from Domundi shows just like GMMTV ones😩NP at this point feels like an inexperienced teenager was given a big budget and free reign to do what they want with it.

Yeah overall everything in Emmaly looks really artificial and the worldbuilding is some of the worst I’ve seen

This might be a small thing, but the marketplaces in this show really bother me. They are way too clean, organized and look like filming sets.Not at all lively and messy in the way that marketplaces usually are. In short, the common people spaces lack an organic vibe.

I hate this practise so much ugh. After the 2nd show or so I cannot see characters anymore, everything just feels like a rpf AU.

So this is now a BL with a new cast? (Mike is promoting the show alone at a BL event-the same one Be On Cloud promotes Shine at) It’s starting to look like no one took up the project so he changed it and is still looking for sponsors. I hope they release a new pilot to avoid confusion as so far he just keeps showing the old pilot despite cast changes (maybe he has not found new actors yet)At this point I’m 90% sure Becky and Jeff are no longer part of the project cause they are not promoting Vamp at all, not even reposting on social media.

I agree that many Thai shows are quite poorly written in comparison to for example Chinese shows. It is important to remember though that there is no single correct way a gay man or any queer person would behave in a certain situation. Different gay people behave in different ways in the same situation as the LGBT community is not a monolith . This next part is a bit off tangent, but just like straight people projecting their own fantasies on queer stories, I’m also a bit iffy about how feminine characters in BLs get a lot of hate from fans and get called ”heteronormative”. There are a lot of femme gays out there, so it’s weird that they are rejected by so many in BLs.

I don’t think people need to worry about not being able to understand something 100% in order to portray it (it could even be questioned whether that is even possible in the first place)I like to write about murder but have no personal experience😂So what it comes down to I guess is to try to understand different perspectives ,being respectful and not projecting too much. Many straight women who write gay fiction mostly have the issue of projecting, but that too of course is not a crime, just makes me roll my eyes😁And to be fair there exists some straight women who write queer fiction really good as well.

I feel like many BLs/GLs would actually have been better if they had just let the average fan write them and that says a lot haha

More like how a straight woman would write gay sex. In general queer women are pretty good at writing NC whether lesbian,gay or straight. Like I always know in fan fics whether the writer is queer or not based on how they write the smut lol

Mike mentioned sometime back that some actors left Vamp and I think Jeff is likely one of them. Mike too might have pulled out from HE in turn. I don’t follow either of the actors, but I sometimes look up what they have said about their current and future projects and they never mention each other’s projects anymore.

Everyone has their hobbies I guess😂We all know that Anawin has not been recasted. If there’s gonna be any changes in the cast it’s more likely to be Mike, since Jeff and him have not mentioned each other’s projects in ages (I doubt Jeff has time to do Vamp, so their trade off to be in each others projects might have been broken)
