I was so hoping baby brother was innocent. 😫 I feel bad for judging this way, but the actor does have the type of face that can pull off a villainous role. Got an inkling of that possibility early on. The actor did a fantastic job keeping it under wraps until now.

It's possible LOL. MZY mentioned in an interview that prior to Blossom, the only kiss scenes she had were on-the-face kisses or just lips briefly touching. LYR said the Director had high expectations. In the BTS clips, you see the Director trying so damn hard to orchestrate a good kiss. 😅

Fair question. Imagine a famous dish - but different chefs are making it. The ingredients, spices, etc. are all the same. But this one chef (Blossom's director) is just nailing it DIFFERENT, and that familiar dish comes out in a way that actually stands out from the crowd. That's what Blossom feels like to me, as someone who doesn't generally enjoy historical dramas with these exact tropes.

Join us! I also decided to watch it after seeing so much discussion on the cdrama subreddit. It had me hooked from episode 1. Three days later I'm now on episode 22 LOL.

Poor and naive, yes, but I think "dumb" is a bit harsh. She's so young, and grew up sheltered and also emotionally/verbally abused. It's not surprising that she latches onto the first man who shows her genuine interest. I think many of us girls have made similarly poor choices in love at that age - we're just lucky to live in a day and age where the consequences aren't this devastating.

Such a talented young actress! She did amazing in Blossom.
