I can't believe I'm finding myself repeating watching this drama.

It really wasn't. They just feared to go out on the romance part between Tang Lici and Feng Zhou. Those two were more than just brothers

She said she wants a similar drama 😏. I don't know any drama of this caliber apart from Immortality. This drama had godlike CGI. I just wonder of we will get this kind of CGI in Immortality.

This drama would have gotten out as pure BL drama but the writers and the people involved in this drama feared backslashes and so it just gotten out as it was but it has many parallèles with Immortality storyline. * My speculations

Women are known to be seductresses and in a drama which is a Chinese drama ofcourse, they give power to the male lead more to the female lead. Those are typical tropes of Chinese dramas. but here it was different. Every one was powerful in their own way,it's always the female lead who needs to be rescued by the male lead. And I didn't say that Liu Yan betrayed him. Liu Yan hated him and resented him just like how Moran resented Chu Wanning out of pure misunderstanding. Ofcourse Immortality fans and Erha novel fans only understand this.

have you forgotten Liu Yan who down right downgraded him and hated him to the core??? Not only him, the whole fengliu shop didn't like him. True he wasn't like other humans because he came from another planet. So that makes him different but it was also his greatest flaw because people fear what they don't understand or what is different. I just love the drama because it's not your typical romance drama but rather the female characters betraying him was refreshing. It shows love can't happen to some people.

I haven't watched game of thrones. I want to read through books first.

I loved the drama but not it's ending. People who perceived Tang Lici as an unrealistic perfect character have never considered his flaws. I wonder if we were watching the same drama. The guy was fooled, betrayed 😢 and despite his efforts he didn't protect anyone. Can you imagine???!!!

Immortality would be your go to drama but I don't know if it will have CGI matching this drama though.

I never knew the actress who played Shimei in Immortality is actually Xi fang Tao here 😳

Not your cup of tea, you can leave it so that it doesn't take your precious time. I know it doesn't have romance, second female lead scheming and all those tropes we find in other dramas. As an Erha fan. I love what it demonstrates.

It's because people are used to heteroromance theme which lacks in this drama

When I saw those steps and the intense relationship between Tang Lici and Fang Zhou, the dragons connecting to Tang Lici, him having a weak constitution yet being the most powerful 😳. I lost it.

I'm going for dramas with no heteromance, no tropes of Fl being foolish and dependant of the ML, those common tropes with love triangles. I'm tired of that. I want something refreshing like intense brotherhood to pure BL, dramas with captivating plots which aren't driven by heteromance. It would be good if the Fl and ML are just friends too. I'm just sick of dramas with the same storyline.

I haven't finished Whispers of fate but so far. It's mind-blowing. I watched love and redemption of Cheng Yi but compared to Luo Yunxi, he is still lacking some what and I happened to read the reviews after dropping mysterious case file whatever of Cheng Yi, I just knew I wouldn't watch it. I want to use my precious time on dramas which deserve to be watched not on dramas where I have to fast-forward. I just want dramas which are refreshing not replaying the same heteromance tropes over and over again.
