oh I’ve watched DOTWS and other of her shows and I thought they were all good, but she really did amazingly well in here.

Ikr this show took forever to air.

Couldn’t say it better, no one is flawless even amazing people or a show’s charcter will become irrational when it comes to their emotions. We can’t all be smart and decisive. Despite this show not having the smartest charcter I still love it nonetheless, even without completion it’s one of the most amazing shows ever to me.

Yea so it depends on the indivual viewers on how they feel about it.

I’ve seen so many shows/novels where the ML does those exact things.
I feel like night just loved her in the wrong way like he said in one of the trailer he should’ve never been caculating/scheming when it comes to love, he regrets his actions knowing that he was wrong and we all already know he ain’t going to get the girl. He’s like the abusive boyfriend that only realizes his wrongs or how to love correctly after the girl leaves.

Same, this is the only show ever where I’m so impatient to the point where I’m watching raws. I usually wait till the show airs completely or halfway so I can binge it if it’s good.

I would say give it a chance again and if it really doesn’t suit your taste then drop it. Also don’t feel like you have to like this show bc viewers praised it, tastes are varied when it comes to watching a show (:

I don’t know what to say other than this is the only show ever where it hooked me from the beginning, which is surprising bc even the most popular or top rated shows takes forever to get interesting. I’ve seen so many novel to drama adaptions where it’s just plain bad and considering how many shows can be good or bad easily, I’m just so glad I didn’t pass on this amazing show. To all the casts and staff of HSALF, Jiayou!

What the design/clothing are one of the amazing factor of this show, but I guess it’s just not to some people taste’s. That lady somehow reminded me of many childish comments saying how TMOPB will always be the best show and how HSALF is worse or they just plainly hate it lol. Like y’all need to stop comparing 2 different shows.

The fillers makes it better other than demon princess imo. We can’t have a show where’s it’s only otp moments there has to be fillers for all shows but to like it or not depends on the viewers themself.

I guess with any shows there will always be likes and hates for it. I feel like every thing that is added other than the demon princess’s story is actually amazing.

This shows just hooks you in right away and I literally can’t stop watching it when i don’t even understand Chinese. It’s the best show ever!

That was me at first but if he really doesn’t love JM would he really be willing to sacrifice that many time for her not even including the time when the empress tried to kill her. He’s done many things but he did say that he was wrong to calculate when it came to Love.

I seriously don’t know how to feel about night’s charcter at this point like he had done so many unforgivable things but when I see him repeatedly saving JM and at one point was like half dead for her just makes me feel so bad for him. The previews showed him hugging JM and he was just so genuinely happy that it makes me really sad for him. Like yea he isn’t the nicest person but he’s willing to die for JM while XF here just wants her dead for revenge.
Ughh at one point after seeing the last few eps, I just feel like JM should just be with night and let XF be with SH since he decides to play dumb and repay her with his “body.” Like excuse you sir you may have been cute with JM but you deserve to just stay with that evil cousin of yours especially after how he constantly torture JM. JM should just try to find happiness with night or just live freely at her flower realm with the bestie Pu Chi.
This is literally one of the first time where I’m so emotionally invested in a freaking show where it’s happy one moment but then bam it gets angsty and all. This show is purposefully torturing us viewers, but it’s so addictinggggg.

Only if TMOPB die hard fans would understand and stop saying how they hate this show since it’s not like TMOPB. I’ve seen lots of comments like that on others site which doesn’t make sense when they’re 2 different shows.

I’m only saying night because he’s the second lead and yea really Pu Chi is one of the best charcter out there he’s such a loyal friend.
This is really random but you know how the demon princess is appearing all the time, so I was thinking they should’ve switched it up with Pu Chi instead since I’m sure we all prefer the funny and loyal Pu Chi over the demon princess for now or atleast I do lol.
