I’m just going to say HSALF is better at breaking your heart than TMOPB. I’ve never cried this much for a charcter and I did for JM she deserves better than whatever is happening to her. Don’t know what others think but currently HSALF is the best show ever to me it’s so addicting and this is the first time ever that I can’t stop myself from watching the raws even when I don’t understand Chinese.

Ik the truth will come out but I’m just so mad at the way SH is manipulating things. Its so frustrating that I can’t help but rant about her (:

I do not know what XF can do to redeem himself all I want is for JM to get back at XF with night like how XF was “with” SH. He broke her heart purposefully so he needs some kind of punishment lol.

SH caused the death of XF so I wonder how he’ll feel after finding out. It'll suck for XF trying to treat SH good and even try to “love” her to repay her, only to find out that she disguised as him to kill JM’s father.
SH to me definitely doesn’t love XF if she did she wouldn’t pretend to be him and she would’ve tried her best to revive him like what JM did, but no she doesn’t want to because she’ll have to almost die like JM. Idk about others but to me SH “love” isn't really love because she wants the position because the empress kept telling her she’ll be the next empress causing her to have an obsession for XF.

This show is literally everything I don’t think I’ve ever cried this much or got this mad ever for a show before. XF is using SH but I hate how he’s trying to treasure her to repay her saving him when she did the bare minimum and SH indirectly killed him by pretending to be him when she was killing the water god. So whatever she does still doesn’t count to me with how she pretended to be XF. SH just needs to be thrown out of the story already she’s so evil even worse than the empress.

XF is so ignoring all the bad things of SH just because she said she saved him when he knows who actually did which makes me even more mad that he hurt JM for SH. That just broke me heart and made me not like XF much like yea you’re trying to repay someone but still don’t need to go over the top like this. He knows SH can use the flame since I think he saw it but still decided to protect her. XF better do something remarkable to be able to redeem his bird brain self.

Ik he still loves JM but the way he is currently treating SH compared to JM is just over the top this is even more heartbreaking than the novel itself. JM deserves better than just all this scheming and torture.

But let’s not forget SH indirectly killed XF because she pretended to be him to kill JM’s father. Also if she really wanted to save him she would’ve done what JM did and look for a way but she knew she would have to make sacrifices so she didn’t she to me is more like a crazy obessesive person who rather just have his soul there than the actual him since she knows he won’t love her. So overall she played a big part in his death so guarding his sould was just the bare minimum.

SH did not save his soul it was his father who sacarficed his life to preserve XF soul and JM was the one who almost died to revive him SH did the bare minimum by just providing a place for his soul. She couldn’t really be count as saving him compare to the other two. I’m pretty sure he knows it was JM who saved him and that SH killed JM’s dad but he’s just turning a blind eye like I said before for revenge. Also because SH is his family so he’s partial to her, as we all know XF is really a family boy.

This literally is the first time where I’m so mad at the lead like XF use your freaking brain. I’m not mad that he protected SH but I’m mad that he actually harmed JM to protect SH like idk what he’s going to do to be able to redeem himself and I seriously hope JM will not forgive him easily for being so heartless and dumb. Also SH didn’t do much for his soul in reality it was his father the heavenly emperor who used his life to preserve XF’s soul bet SH didn’t tell him that. She literally did nothing beside throwing his soul in a place to be kept like his father sacrifice to keep the soul and JM almost sacrificed herself to revive him and SH here just take some all the credit for it while our smart bird brain XF is treating her like a precious gem that can’t be touched.

I don’t know if you've seen the stills but it was JM and XF holding a boy(their son) and also another part where after JM dies XF came to the mortal world to take her back so yes it will be a happy ending like the book. Overall there will be sweet moments for our otp as a family at the end.

I’m beginning to not like xu feng much he knows that bird princess is evil and she didn’t save him but he still decides to treat her like a precious gem. Saying how much he knows she’s cares and how good and all like bruh you know it was Jin Mi who saved your ass. Also if anyone wants to say Jin Mi deserve to be punished like she did more than she’s suppose to for him already almost dying too and I think XF knows but he still wants to believe that it was the bird who risked her life to save him. It’s not fair when people said Jin Mi caused his parents death when his parents was the one who caused her to be an orphan and tried to kill her many times too. XF knows of all the evil his family does especially the bird princess but chooses to turn a blind eye just to take revenge on the innocent JM. Out of all the charcters the most pitiful one is JM she doesn’t scheme against others but gets schemed at all the time and now she’s risking her life for her love that just wants her dead. I’m so pissed after watching today’s eps like how can XF say that the bird is precious to him so he’ll kill JM if she touches her. Like wtf ugh he’s going to regret being such an ass to the lovable JM while caring for the stupid bird cousin. The most annoying charcter is that bird she needs a visit from karma soon!

Same we’re probably the minority that likes the add on here. Like the novel is good and all but most of it is our imagination because it’s from the point of Jin Mi and in the show we get to understand more in-depth about why or how a charcter or event happened.

Same I feel like most of the disappointment are from book fans and I get they want it to be like the book but we have to remember that books and shows are never the same. Also some are mad that supporting are appearing more than they should which at first I didn’t like the demon princess appearing all the time but I don’t mind if it’s going to be for the plot development/satisfying ending. The only one I’m confused about is night like why are they mad when he is a key factor for the plot.

How is Zhen Huan a prequel of this when the roles had been changed?Also has this been subbed yet cause I’m just confuse with the raw.

Idk why I did this to myself but watching the beginning of ep50 made me teary for the poor Jin Mi even though I don’t really get what’s happening ):

I’m only bringing TMOPB up bc I saw specific comments from other sites saying they want the leads here to appear as much as TMOPB leads which is why I’m laughing bc they barely appeared at the near end and the supporting again had a lot more screen times than they should too. Well I haven’t seen the redemption yet bc im putting this on hold since school is starting and Ik if I continue I wouldn’t be able to stop watching it. Also the thing is book fans should remember that the show will never be the same thing as the book there will be changes for the better or worse.
