This is pretty ridiculous, and I adore silly and goofy dramas but this was not it. Basically, just enough irritating nonsense I have to drop. Decent acting.
Going back to rewatch with my friend after years. The second male lead is insufferable. At one point he tries to force his affection on fl when she tells him she wants to seperate, and he even stalks her and ml. Later on when he gets with someone else he threatens to injure himself if she doesn't say yes to them being together. The mother of the fm lead walks in to the male leads room when he is asleep without permission. One of ml lab partners is textbook narcisst, always accusing him of dumb crap and has such a nasty attitude and thinks he so much better than everyone. That is only a few examples. The list goes on.
i watched this drama years ago and rewatched it recently...yea the drama is really full of fluff without any misunderstanding…
I agree. I just recently rewatched a few episodes with my friend and we both agreed the girl is a complete lunatic. It does scratch an itch though. I really don't need my dramas to be realistic, but I have to draw a line somewhere.
As someone who watched the original and felt that the last half of the drama was a disappointment would anyone at all recommend this? The original story was fine for me except the dynamic between her and the romantic interest as well as the feeling of something "missing", (maybe could have been better executed?). Would this version possibly be a bit better?
This is what a call a filler drama. It's good and cute enough to watch between anticipated dramas and heavier more thrilling ones. Not wonderful but not bad either. As someone with adhd and no patience this was good enough to keep my attention to the end. Very beautiful ending.
I really hate to ask this but does anyone know where this can be seen in the USA without ads? Dramacool and kissasian have become unwatchable even with all the adblockers and the free VPN's can't bypass anything at all and if it does it's too low quality to enjoy it. Any help is appreciated.
I am on episode 7. Can someone spoil me if it ever shows why she is broke? I don't know everything about korean culture but a desk receptionist in Korea makes 30million won per year. If we assume she is making 20 million for some odd reason(maybe she is only part time), she can pay her own groceries 2million won per year, bus expense, and surely personal care products. She does live with her parents, so I think we are to assume they are taking most of her money for rent, but she does work for them on her days off. Is she just embarrassed or would her parents really make her homeless so she can pay off the 15 million won? (Which would only be about a year and a half if you include interest)???? Am I missing something? This just seems very extreme to me.
I thought the first 20 minutes of the drama were teasers but they were more like an irrelevant montage or a pseudo…
Lol, ehm. Well, I have not seen this, but I believe you have the right idea. I would not expect anything less from a 2005 kdrama haha. Ig that's why I like to watch these sometimes for that older korea entertainment nostalgia when nothing else is going on.
I'm confused at all the confused comments about the ending. Is this ending worse than the original? I wanted to see it since it's really in my top 5 dramas of all time, but idk if it is worth it
Viki in U.S. doling out one episode per day Monday -Thursday. Episode 39 tomorrow.
It's why I really wish that Tencent had an app for Roku. Do they do this because of an agreement I guess? All the episodes have been out for a few days. Sigh.
This isn't really for the faint of heart, and I am someone more prone to desensitization. I cannot describe how incredible this show portrays the backwardness and twistedness of the human nature and society. Despite how tough some of this is to stomach, it also shows how powerful love can be inbetween the brutal reality of life and the beauty of humanity in places that would not be noticeable to the naked eye.
Is the music starting before the battle sending anyone else? I can't tell if it's actually suppose to be comical or serious but I'm past episode 30 and I still cannot contain my laughter.
This is genuinly a complete snoozefeast from the get go. The actors hard carry this show with their fame.
I watched the first 36 minutes and I genuinely would like to know why I should bother finishing this? Is overrated and overdone even in the room with us? Well, can't win em' all!
