It is definitely a character driven story only. There is no action here. The main events happen in the last few episodes, but the drama is specifically targeted toward character development and relationships to the very end.

Can anyone recommend me a drama with this same vibe/aesthetic that doesn't drag? The "drama" part of this show was right up my alley. As long as it has romance in it.

Can someone explain to me why the time loop exists? I’ve been trying to wrack my brain for days after finishing it, and I can’t figure out what caused the loop or if it was only random with random people? I can understand the actual time loop but not the cause. Any ideas?

Is there a lot of romance and if so, is it important? I like it to be the focus most of the time, and the story second. Unless the story is actually well done, but it seems like the story is lacking for most people.

Haters gonna hate but I’m all for the age gap.

The low ratings in Korea may more or less be related to their history. It can be a sensitive topic depending on how it’s presented, even if it’s mostly fictional.

I can never finish this drama. First time I made it to episode 11 and the second time I rewatched, only made it to episode 15. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong per se and I love the feel of the show, but something about it is clearly lacking for me to finish it?

As stupid and ridiculous as the end break up was I have never seen a break up scene like that before. It was the most memorable part of the entire drama for me. Usually they play it off and move on or do something over the top silly during the break up scene but I felt every second of her pain. As difficult as it was to see him experience it as well, I obviously couldn’t empathize with him for the reason.

I’m in love with these slow burn, beautiful vibe, romance dramas. It soothes my anxious soul. I’m hoping they keep the same mood through every episode. No misunderstandings, no love triangles, or tragic events. Just seeing all of the characters interact with each other, develop their relationships, showing us how they think, and what made them how they act in the present day, makes me so happy.

I hope it’s a slow and sweet romance. I love both of these actors. Sounds perfect for a rainy and cold day.

I’d like to know as well. I’ll look through the comments to see if I find anything. I’ve googled about this before and they mention something about the show‘s ending related to how it begins, but nothing was ever clear to me. Let me know if you figure it out.

Some relationship problems happen too close to the end for me, but the overall sugary sweetness of the drama more than makes up for it.

This drama is not perfect... but it was perfect for me. I absolutely loved the mood it gave, and even though I love so many dramas I have to say Come and Hug Me still holds the most precious part of my heart. I can’t wait to rewatch and fall in love all over again.

It’s more disappointing than sad for the main romance.
