Currently I'm more interested in Hoo Ye's story than in the relationship between So Ah and Habaek. Even…
You know, I tried to understand their characters long enough. I thought of So Ah as a desperate person who actually has lots of empathy but tries thinking only about herself and her perspectives so she would not care about others too much (because it makes her unhappy). I thought of her as a difficult character that also loves differently. But she still comes off very, very plain. There’s little to no depth to her character.
Ragarding Habaek I thought that he is in a precarious situation and has a hard time, therefore he would try hard to give these "God vibes" even in his human form, making an extremely cold and childish impression. However, NJN’s is trying too hard in this drama. There are so many irritating things about him, from his facial expressions to his voice and up to his overall behaviour.
After ten episodes I can say that they clearly don't have a great chemistry in my opinion. Their relationship lacks passion and emotions. The only thing that makes you feel something is the music. The OST might be the strength of this drama.
Do you remember the episode in which Habaek saved So Ah, creating a water ball or something around them? To me that was the only amazing moment they shared together. As I said, the hugs and kisses leave me cold.
You have interesting points right there…. There are some behind the scenes on youtube, and I had the impression that SSK and NJH get along quite well. As far as I know NJN’s dating LSK, soooo it might be a reason, but we can’t tell for sure.
There are only six episodes left and I'm going to finish this drama. Not only because I want to write a long review on this one, but also because I’m interested in Hoo Ye and how Habaek and So Ah will end up, despite everything.

"With each episode I'm finding myself more and more apathetic towards the relationship [..]"
"[..] but I'm just not feeling any real chemistry."
"[..] just leave me feeling very "meh", or slightly depressed and irritated."
"[..] I'm probably not going to care at all if they end up together or not."
THIS. This is exactly how I felt when watching the last two episodes.
It's strange, isn't it? Somehow, their relationship is really progressing and Habaek seems to be a good guy, but a lot of things are off and you're just sitting there, knitting your brows because of their kisses and hugs that have no passion at all.
Currently I'm more interested in Hoo Ye's story than in the relationship between So Ah and Habaek. Even though So Ah und Habaek had some cute moments in the last two episodes, I can't say that I'm especially fond of them.
Sorry in advance for my little rant here, but am I the only one that thinks the main female lead is kind of a…
Generally speaking, I'm blaming the developers and the length of this drama. To me, 16 episodes, one hour each, is too much for this drama, therefore, they tried to fill the first episodes with the stuff you mentioned, I guess, and that’s exactly the reason why the drama is progressing very slowly.
So Ah has a purpose, apparently Habaek regaining his powers for a moment has something to do with her, and something’s up with their names on the wall. I think she’s a weak character, but on the other hand she is… well, she is hard to understand because she can’t even understand herself. But the makers are taking too much time to elaborate on the things we want them to elaborate.
Most probably there will be a lot of new information und findings towards the end of this drama.
Is CEO Shin going to rape Yoon So Ah? (episode 9 preview)
I can't imagine him to be this bad, but I hope he won't. That's not what a 'good person' does (since he tries to be one) and I guess I'll lose my sympathy for him.
sometimes i really find the main girl annoying all she thinks about is herself also its ep 7 there is still no…
I think she thinks only about herself so she won't be concerned with other people's well-being. But I have to say that, still, So Ah is quite a weak character.
There we go again, falling for the second lead once more. Drama life can be really annoying sometimes. I'll try not to have high hopes; I'm simply counting on the developers to let the second lead live and find his happy place.
I feel very bad for Prince Yang Myung. I could tell with whom Wol will end up with, and I wish there was an independent short drama or movie in which the reincarnations of Prince Yang Myung and Wol will end up together. Poor guy, I liked him more than the King. :<
This drama isn't perfect by any means, but it has some captivating moments, and I actually want to know what happens in the further course. So far it's 7/10, and I honestly don't think that 7/10 is a terribly low rating. Not a must-watch, but good enough to keep me interested. .
The fourth episode was not as good as the third one, but I don’t feel like it was incredibly bad either. It was okay, and I hope that the next one will blow me away.
I must admit I was skeptical because of NJH at first, like many others. I mean… A lot of people mentioned it before; he’s too young and you question his competence to play a God.
However, I feel like Ha Baek’s not as shallow and scabby as the other Gods, even though he’s very sassy and bossy. He seems to be more "human" than the others (if you know what I mean); he seems to be quite understanding and innocent, too, and these are actually the vibes I get from NJH.
Regarding So Ah... Why do I have the feeling that she'll be rescued very often in this drama? I hope that she won't turn into a tool and that there will be some character development in the further course.
The third episode was very good! Haven't seen the fourth one so far, but damn, the final scene was amazing and made my heart skip a beat. There's a lot of progress in this episode, plot-wise as well as character-wise.
So when the girlfriend was saying "if I was in your situation I would go crazy or commit suicide" Like…
Most definitely she said these things because she was frustrated and wanted Yoo Ri to think about it and feel bad. But she wanted to transport the message subliminally, I guess, that's why she said she respected her.
I think this drama's okay so far, but I understand why people don't like it. First impression and stuff, nothing wrong with pointing out negative things. If I were you, I'd watch onother episode or two. There are a lot of dramas out there that had started out strong but ended up weak and disappointing. To me, as I said it before, this drama is okay so far. And after all, you can drop a drama if you don't like it, fortunately. :>
N. J. Hyuk does a good job; on one hand, you want to punch Ha Baek in the face, on the other hand he's somewhat intriguing, and you want both of the leads to kiss.
"If you get offended by some jokes then this will not be the drama for you." Thank you for saying this instead of screaming "homophobia!!!!" and stuff. I appreciate your review and the effort you put into it.Good job!
Your review is quite helpful, Viktorija!
If this were a "full length" drama I wouldn't even consider watching it after reading your review; but since the episodes are very short, I will give this drama a try because I'm actually interested in the story.
I can say though that I will be irritated by the pretty actress being picturized as not that pretty, heh. #dramaproblems
Wish the mother would have been kidnapped for real. Maybe this event would have spurred some nice character development.
She still is a bully. For ages, it seems, this woman hasn't done anything good, relying on hopes and prayers only. That's why she hasn't received her power back yet, I guess.

And yep, I noticed the kitty cat too!
