She is seeking justice for her father, there is a chance she will work with ML to take down the prime minister, but also a chance she will decide to have revenge on both men. Her family die because of the power struggle between the two ML after all.
First episodes are on point and powerful, but from ep. 6 the story is kinda different from the book. Nothing wrong with it if they would give the right amount of screen time to key roles, but they are not. I wonder if they will do a second season.
I may be the only one happy for the time jump, I haven't like the direction of first episodes where they told us everything beforehand. Ep. 5 was the opposite, he did his things and only after we saw the connection with his new prosecutor boss. This is how you unfold a story without spoiling the viewer.
The writer should've just listed the specific country where Tae Sung was volunteering instead of just saying "Africa."…
I agree on the fact they could have at least say the region. But I don’t see any prejudice in picking Africa over any other continent where charity programs works.
They needed to portray a charity program and they picked one out of many possibilities. They didn't say that Africa it's all like this so I don't understand why you say they generalized. Have I missed something? Can someone explain?
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency Gold Medalist clarified, “We’ve just received schedule inquiries. We haven’t received any official offers, such as a proposal or script.”
They set some interesting things up at the beginning for the present time, and then delivered none. That's why…
True, but this is the ending that sucked in delivering the story built so far. But this doesn’t cancelled that what I saw until ep. 15 was good when it came to past/present timelines.
I actually enjoy the present time, for the editing works, the switch between present and past were nicely done, even when they served for pp reasons. And for the paternity mystery which fit the plot until ep. 15. Unfortunately the final throw it all away making this sub plot kind of a joke. Still a great production, to me it was a 10 for ep. 15, but then I lowered to 9.5
I liked them not being together, it’s realistic with growing up, not all first love last and in the drama there is already the secondary couple who made it. What I haven’t liked was the overall vibe of the finale. They wasted time on the main otp “diary clarification” when they had already apologized to each other before he left for NY. But then they didn’t gave a proper conclusion to the daughter sub plot, nor to BYJ in the present.
The reason they didn’t cast an older version of BYJ to me is because we never saw him older in the show respect to hee do who had a counterpart from start.
I can't believe they showed that event too. The drama reminded me how well I recall that day. What I was doing..... what I did after.... This is one hell of a production.
Baek Yi Jin is most likely not dead cause in Ep 4, present time Na Hee Do's mom said that she met him last month…
That would be a bad trick played on viewers. She should have said "visited" not "met". The writing is good, it would be a shame to see they use such a trick to drag the revelation.

But I guess kdrama will always be kdrama with their endings.
