I am pretty sure she will go back to acting, but maybe just to realize she loves her new job. I think episodes…
yes I also thought about procedural case. More than a breakup I think there will be another scandal around her and they will face a crisis.
On 1987: When the Day Comes Feb 16, 2019
Awesome! I thought the plot would be only about what happened to the student. Instead it was an amazing and strong movie about what was happening in south korea during '80.
I didn't know well their history so it was truly interesting!
Great acting and direction. Based on true facts but with enough fiction to avoid the "documentary" format, it actually make you feel what they were feeling living in such a dungerous period and have the courage to stand up.
On Touch Your Heart Feb 16, 2019
Even if the script sometimes is a bit predictable I really like the comedy parts, which evolve around all the cast and not only the couple.
I also like that the romance is not rush but they are knowing each other slowly.
I instead have doubt about the whole law training project, another 12 episodes where she learn the job would be boring..... do you think the training at some point will end and she will go back acting? Or she will end up loving her new job better than acting?

Ep. 84-85 weren’t that great,
I liked more previous ep. when they dealt with Do Ra finding about her father past. Well let’s see what kind of a mess Da Ya is gonna bring this time.
I also guess that the homeless man is hiding something about the whole accident.

Wow the comment section looks like a minefield! LOL

I loved them in Goblin and of course I am happy to see them paired again, but that’s it.
This is another drama, another plot with different characters and I will watch it without making comparisons. Everyone should remember that this is not a remake of goblin but a new kdrama, end of the story.

In the first episode she is indeed really stupid but she is also kind and eager to learn. Actually the rude one is him. It's also very obvious that this kind of acting is part of their role. I will give them, and the drama of course, the classic 5 episodes time to see how it goes. I expect an epic characters development though !

Now let’s talk seriously, why there are no comment about the cameo and the whole parody? LOL I am the only one who enjoy it ?!? Beside the first ep. was really hilarious!
On The Negotiation Feb 11, 2019
Hyun Bin acting as an evil character was a masterpiece, unfortunately the stellar cast and his great acting couldn't save a plot that had potential but was unrealistically executed.
I was expecting a negotiatior with "iron balls" who face a great evil character, but if Hyun Bin's role was well written we could not say the same for Miss detective Yoon, she acted as an idiot and she was surrounded by an equally incapable team.
In the first forty minutes the police force (NIS, detective Yoon, etc.) makes tons of mistakes that a professional negotiator shouldn't commit. When things obviously turn sour, she takes refuge to investigate the kidnapper's background (you do it now?!?! Really!?!? ) In the meanwhile Hyun bin is left alone doing whatever he wants....... I've never seen a negotiation worse than this one, everything was too unrealistic to enjoy the rest of the movie.

As always in Thai drama, the romance was weak whereas the action and revenge was good.
In the first part Mik was hot and the romance was super funny, but then the girl sober up and everything became really boring.
Fortunately there was a revenge plot with a lot of action to entertain us.
Even if I started this for Mik, I think GRS stoled the scene with his “double-personality” acting. I was expecting some kind of redemption but didn’t expect at all the whole psycho act!

Overall it was enjoyable but I like k-drama better.
Even if I am getting used to Thai language and culture, I still think Thai productions are really old-stylish. Too much drama, draggy and full of cliche, they look almost like a soap-opera.

From the poll it looks like in 2018 there were only 4-5 drama.
TSHLYE everywhere it's ridiculous. This things happens when people vote by popularity instead of being objective. The same drama shouldn't be listed in more than one category to avoid this kind of things. At least when it came to the genres. A melodrama that win romance and thriller....... when there were "pure" thriller and romance drama to choose.
Beside, I didn't watch My Mister but from all the comments on MDL I thought it would win the best screenwriter, also Mr. Sunshine deserved the best direction, even if I didn't like it.
Sorry but not sorry, this poll is totally meaningless.

I almost forget, still a huge thanks to everyone who worked to bring the poll, regardless of the results, it is not easy to manage the surveys.

It will depend what you are looking for in a drama, I knew the drama was not going to solely in revenge but redemption…
Never said someone opinion is better than other. If you liked the whole drama ok, but from what you wrote it looked like it was good just because there were romance.

I don’t agree with this type of thinking, since you want a romance, there is romance, so the drama is good. It doesn’t work like that. I love romance but a writer should know how to mix genre well.
some writer use the romance just to grab audience and that’s what happens, weak plot. It’s not about the lack of revange, is about the whole production, is weak, like the writer didn’t want to make a pure romance and put a random story around it.
On The Hymn of Death Feb 6, 2019
Even if the show had his grabbing moments with a quite interesting scenary, only 3 ep. weren’t enough to explain this incredible bond between the main couple.
Therefore the plot totally lacked of impact and it was like watching a bad cut and past editing.
As much as I like the main cast, they are too young to portrait such roles. In this case I think a more “mature” actors would give us a stronger performance.

after watching several Ma Dong Seok movies they feel like a series, his character here was kinda similar to Wonderful…
I agree only on Ma Dong performance :D
On Ordinary People Feb 4, 2019
The first hour was just a filler, a huge waste of time considering a duration of 1 hour and 35 minutes, then the plot suddendly escalate just to end abruptly because they have to wrap things up.
For this reason we didn't get to know all the party involved in the story and the plot came out overall weak, it also totally lack of mystery, the absence of a background story didn't allow us to build that curiosity that is usually created when you know what happened but you do not know who, how and why.
Apparentely the whole plot was written just to allow Ma Dong (or any other actor) to act as "the punisher" going around throwing punch. And Ma Dong acting is the only thing that saved this movie.

The episodes about the father-daughter DNA revelation are so frustrating!
Da Ya is a bitch like always but I might understead Dae Ryuk’s mother a bit.
After all both husband and son keep an important family matter from her, they both have so little consideration for this woman.
The main problem is that her reaction is always exaggeratedly immature!!!
It is also incredible how the old grandma with dementia is more smart than Da Ya and Dae Ryuk’s mother put together! LOL
On My Strange Hero Feb 4, 2019
Once again I was deceived by the synopsis! There is no revenge in this drama.
The plot develops around the corruption of the Korean school system with a bit of hints about bullism. A topic that would be quite interesting if the writer had not focus so much on the romance part. The whole love triangle was boring, predictable and ruined what could be a great show about how hard and discriminatory the Korean school system is.

In fact this was my comment from last month:
[Now that the backstory has been clarify I am scared the drama will became a mere romance. I hope it will not end up with a loop where Oh Se Ho doesn't learn his lesson and gets between them once again. It would be very predictable and boring.]

I was expecting something stronger, let's face it, if they cut out the romance and make something like Angry Mom this would be so much better. IMHO.

I wasn't so convinced about a zombie kdrama set in Joseon era, but it turned out to be a great show, if you are a fan of zombies of course. The only shame was the split up into two season. I really don't like this season format!!
