The plot has too many subplots of different genres, is like an ice cream with strange flavors on it. Slice of life, crime, family drama, revenge, love triangle.... pick one up please!
Kang Joon is such a versatile actor, what a shame he only takes comedy part, I really would like to see him in a strong role.
The concept of this drama is not bad but is really not well executed. Unfortunately the backstory is taking too much screen time, 6 episodes out of 16 and from the synopsy we already know there will be another time slip, I think 4 episodes were good enough to explain their past, 2 for the teenagers time and 2 for the young adult time. Or it would be less stressfull use the flashback to show their past while the drama is set in the present. There are also too many charcaters and you can get affectioneted because they all get a few screen time.
Kang Joon role is not easy and is doing a very good job, the main plot is about is lack of confidance that doesn't allow him to fight for his relationship, sometimes he even act as a first lady, so petty and lame! he think that everything is a pain for him but for the others? I really hope in the next time slip his characters will grow up or the plot would be wasted.
Her foster mother is so annoying, I hate her, selfish and lazy. I am watching this for choi-soo-jong, The synopsis and his photo in the poster intrigued my curiosity and his role as ex convict who try to be a father is my favorite characters right now. I do not go crazy for the rest of the cast and plot.
For now I only like seo Kang Joon performance! The premise wasn’t bad but too much time in flash black can discourage viewers, It’s like the drama started but you are still waiting the real start.
This drama is the classic Korean romantic drama, full of old cliche’. Unless you like old style romance and light comedy this one is skipable. I enjoy just the romance part.
The first part of the drama was so refreshing and different from all others historical drama about crown prince but then it became very draggy, as usual the main plot is put on standby to give the main couple a lot of romance time, what a shame when the plot can’t focus on more subjects at the same times. What I hate most is that they use the same old trick to force the main lead together and to change the prince personality, with only 6 episode left I wonder when they move on and wrap things up, I hope they will not wait the last 2 episodes as always.
I really like that the drama spent effort to show how difficult is being a mother, worker and housekeeper. The fact that he is tried after one day with kids is hilarious. LoL
I cannot cope with the memory loss, every time he approach her I do not know if and what he remember from the day before, but I admit that this thing has a good impact on the story, I love their genuine bickering and how their relationship is developing, so I will trust the writer and see how the whole mistery around that day will be dealt with.
I have this theory that someone try to get rid of both of them that day of three years ago... the aunt and her ex CEO are my main suspect. But for now I am trying to enjoy the romance and bromance of this show!
When I started this drama I was expecting a good romantic comedy with a lot of bickering, obviously the poster trick me pretty well!
As most of romantic dramas, the main plot evolve around a misundersteanding between main leads and of course the classic cliche "we don't talk to each other about it so the drama can go on for 16 espisodes" makes sure to drag the plot till the end.
The problem is that THE MISUNDERSTENDING is really HUGE, the cliche of not talking is too unrealistic considering the kind of misunderstanding is going on! Furthermore, the main lead approach our heroine we the pourpuse to get revenge and the bickering turn out to be way to much aggressive.
In addition the plot is a mess of geners: medical, romance, revenge, power struggle, mystery..... all seasoned with the wrost cliche you can imagine. A lot of character, too many! Friends who act silly to bring some comedy and other ones who try everything to separate the couple or destroy one of the male lead.
At some point I thought I was watching a Makjang.. really!?!? The concept and the cast wasn't bad but overall the script was really bad written.
I can stop to think about falling for innocence, similar poster, similar concept, what a shame this one could not replicate the quality.
A plot should be developed to keep our attention for the whole story, giving out hints each episode while we enjoy sweet and tearfull moments, like a CRESCENDO in music. Unfortunately "Thirty But Seventeen" was not able to do so! You can watch the premise and the last episode and totally understeand the main plot without bother to watch all the episode in between full of repetitive events and emotions.
Ahh, should I watch the original with Kimura Takuya first before this? I don't know...
The original is worth watching just for Kimura interpretation !! But you will end up with high expectation and probably a huge spoiler, I didn't understeand if the Korean version is only an adaptation or if it will be an identical remake. Still you will know the main concept about the plot.
Wonderful cast!! Super high expectation for this drama! Seo in guk chooses a hell of role to act! Kimura was awesome in the original, his character is one of my favorite ever. Considering their previous roles, So min as a caring woman is perfect and sung woo as a detective hyperprotective brother even more. This cast is born for this script.... and I am scared cause when I have so much hype I usually get hit in the back!

That is not what I mean. I would like to watch him struggle between two life. Like the movie sliding doors, but with him being conscious of the two worlds so he could learn from his mistake not fix them.
I think Shi Yoon is making Kang Ho's role too much comical, the acting is way to similar to his previous drama, if he tune down a bit all his comical expression I think it would be more appropriete for the role he is acting.
I also don't get why dramas that deal with "Twins Identity Swap" usually drop one character in favor of the other. I really would like to see Soo Ho more involved in the plot.
Song So Eun is not impressing me, something is off with her being so "kind and sweet", I realize she is fragile and hurt by her past, but she could be less naive sometimes.
I like comedy but I hate forced comical into plot that doesn't require it, maybe that's why the acting in bother me so much, cause I know they are all good actor and actress.
Nevertheless the drama is enjoyable, single cases are intresting enough and well mixed with the main plot. The plot is winning me over, hope it will continue to be good, I'm at ep. 8.
