In the jap version they are indeed siblings. I do not know how the Korean version will dealt with it.

at first I thought the plot was about how difficult is to have a relationship with such different personality and eventually how they can overcome that.
BUT there is no trace of character development, their amplified emotions are used as an excuse to have misunderstanding and it became ripetitive and annoying. they broke up twice already because their personality don’t allow them to speak frankly. Actually their back and forth is so stressful that even the girl decided to broke up.
I like the main concept but it was bad executed, even the timeline is not well belanced.

The realism of their relationship became an endless melodrama, it’s getting frustrating, when the plot will move on? When they will grow up?

The original is way more darker than this one.
You are right, the way they developed the plot makes this one looks more like a melodrama, but the twist plot in the original is only one, so is normal that is not full of twists.

The main concept may be the same from the original but the execution is very different, the Japanese version was more dark and psychologically strong, with complex dialogues and an overall sadness. It was frustrating and hard to watch, while this one is definitely more light, the mix of crime, love (if you can call it love) and a bit of comedy make it more easy to watch. It looks more like a normal drama, while the jap version was really peculiar.

I think a comment section divided into episode would be interesting on MDL.

yes you are probably right, I want a few more episode of fun before the hard time comes. :)

I know. But one episode doesn't change my overall opinion, the main plot already end last week, they will just wrap thing up to tell us what happens to the cast.

sorry maybe I didn’t express my self well, I think it is too early for him to confess his feeling, they can fall in love but it is to early for them to officially date. She need to figure out who her father is and then that he is a murder before Da Ya can start her queen drama. We need a few more episode of “falling in love” or the dramatic part will be to draggy

Last episodes didn’t impress me at all, the show lose is thriller vibe, they go around looking for a way to kill her from almost 4 episodes making the same mistakes that typically do most of the horror characters in movie.
The start was very good as also the chemistry of the lead but the plot couldn’t handle well the crime thriller till the end. I will watch the last episode just for the sake of completation.

Finally some common sense :)

I do not watch j-drama and age gap is not my favorite theme, but from your article it seems this drama was at the centre of a scandal for an unknown reason since other drama with the same topic (10 years age gap) were so famous. Why they hate this one so much?

I started this one more for tradition then really interest, I watch almost all version since BOF so why not watch this one too, but I have to admit that I have grow up too much for this "teenager" kind of drama. I am stuck at ep. 25 like forevere!

I do not know, the plot is a huge cliché, I usually do not mind a few cliché inside romance comedy but this drama really put all the last decade cliché all together. I like Choi Jin Hyuk and theri couple moments but that's it, I would not recommanded this, there are better romance plot out there.
