I'm glad that MX and BFY are separated now. This will give them some room to interact with their respective spouses and form their own conclusions. Sometimes well-intended advice from siblings/friends can cloud their judgements.
In the novel, Xiao Wu is her endgame partner so... x)
Wu Jin is a newly created character in the drama. No such character in the book. I don't believe MX will romantically end up with XW in the drama. The whole set up is different. MX and XW have more interactions in the book.
Although I skip through a lot of this drama (I only watch the scenes with our MLs), it seems to me that our general…
He knew that MX is intending to escape but he was hoping that she would change her mind. On the night when he gave her the talisman he even asked her to stay with him and not yearn for someone else. That was his last attempt to make her stay.
Yes she ends up with Xiao Wu. She had no kids with CWD. Together they set up business in another city from where…
It happened in the novel. After the fall of the Bai family, MX followed BFY to seek refuge with WJG. While staying at WJG's place, MX made several advanced but WJG is steadfast about BFY. One night, WJG was drunk and MX sneaked into his bedroom and had sex with him.

The novel is different than the drama. In the novel, MX has more interactions with XW. He was appointed as MX's personal servant. E.g. He prepared and brought her food, prepared her bath, even bought her medicine when she tried to abort WJG's child. XW had a crush on MX but couldn't express his feelings, as MX was his boss' woman. He only dared to act after CWD died. In the end of the novel, MX referred him as her third man, so they're romantically involved.
For the people that read the novel, does CWD get name cleared?
The novel is different than the drama. The novel is set during the Republican Era. Just after the fall of the Qing dynasty, when various warlords were fighting territories. CWD and WJG were working for opposing warlords. So in the novel CWD was not accused of treason. They were just in opposing fractions.
People are getting too upset over a preview lol....To be honest you will probably care more than FY if she crosses…
What upsets me about the trailer is WJG's fickle behaviour. First promise MX that he'll be with her no matter what. Then give her up to appease his parents. Agreed to move on and treat each other as siblings. Now that she is married to someone else, he suddenly wants her back and marry her? WTF.... He is toying with MX's feelings. Regardless if there is a CWD or WY, MX shouldn't be treated this way. WJG is taking her for granted. He has already made his choice when he decided to marry BFY to appease his parents and dump MX. So now, while still married to BFY, he is making all sorts of promises to MX again and even hugged her. He is such a hypocrite.
Since I am on team CWD all the way, I am irritated at MX for not appreciating him sooner and hurting him in her…
Now you mention. For a moment I thought Xiao Wu would in ep ep 26. When Xiao Wu was in MX's room, I thought he wanted to say something but he held back and left.
Now that they are both married to others, WJG and MX are kind of cheating now...
Agree. In fact, if WY is not Wu Lang's son, he is a good match for MX. Out of the 3, WY is the only one that has MX's safety as priority no 1. Even CWD can't. WJG is definitely the worst. Such a wolf pretending to be a gentleman 🙄
