Agree with what you said. Specifically on lover boy, I was initially open to them becoming a couple, as their interactions were cute. Until he secretly manipulated her phone which caused XQ to misunderstand CY. That's just very low and shows his poor character. So far, liking all 3 storylines. I'm also irritated about the deceit and draggy interactions between XHS and theme park gal. They should just consummate their illicit affair, hope GJ finds out about it fast and furious, launches an attack and leaves XHS,

The guy is older and not good looking but his acting is spot on. After a few episodes, you can feel the chemistry and in overall, this drama is an enjoyable watch. It's light, fun and acting is good.

He knows that she has a double identity. This was shown in one of the episodes, where he point blank told her about his suspicion and she told him that there is no conflict between her masters agenda and Wei's. She also revealed to Wei who her original master is by writing the Chinese character "di" (i.e. Emperor) on the table with water/wine.

Give it some time. The acting is quite good. I initially had my reservations too but after 4 episodes, I'm enjoying it very much.
