Title Gone with the Rain Spoiler
I really don't want them to have the same ending like the novel 🥲
CWD dies in the novel and MX ends up with Xiao Wu.

Agree! Every episode I'm hoping to see CWD and MX together. Their chemistry is so fun to look at 😁To think…
Acting skills is a prerequisite which both leads have.

I love this series. Good acting from the leads. The best actor has to be Sean Sun as Chen Wen De.
Agree! Every episode I'm hoping to see CWD and MX together. Their chemistry is so fun to look at 😁To think that they've a 14 yrs age difference in reality.

The imagination has a filter of like a translucent smoky cloud on the corners of the screen. That's how you can…
Believe they removed the filter in the trailer so that we can't differentiate real vs dream. There is a part in the trailer where WFG promises MX something. It has no filter in the trailer but we know now that it's MX's imagination.

Title Gone with the Rain Spoiler
From the opening or closing sequence, it seems that the sisters will part, become almost enemies and BFY will…
Don't believe Mo Xi and Feng Yao will become enemies. Both girls will end up in opposing camps due to their men but they remain having each other's interest at heart. If you see the trailer, there are scenes where both girls question their men's actions to protect their sister.

Shipping Mo Xi with both Jia Gui and Wen De 😅 Jia Gui x Mo Xi = Cute while Wen De x Mo Xi = Spicy.
Mo Xi has chemistry with Feng Yao too! Especially in the recent episodes where they encourage each other and away from the Bai mansion. Surviving all on their own with their own abilities. No men needed to save them.

It's more or less cast in stone when Mo Xi admitted that she cannot outwit Wen De, isn't it? The way Wen De intensely…
Every time Wen De comes back on screen. I rejoice. I enjoy watching him tease Mo Xi.

I believe Wu Yin was not in the novel. At least, I don't remember such a character.

Yes, he had feelings for Mo Xi. Mo Xi also called him her 3rd man. 1st Jia Gui, 2nd Wen De. But it was not explicitly mentioned if they married.

I believe the drama will go another direction. E.g. Wen De is so much more likeable in the drama whereas in the novel he was very rough and uncouth. In the novel Mo Xi is obsessed with Jia Gui. In the drama she has more like a crush on Jia Gui. Definitely mellower than in the novel. So what happened is that Jia Gui got drunk and slept with Mo Xi, which produced a son. At that time Jia Gui and Feng Yao were not married yet. After Mo Xi gave birth, Feng Yao took care of her son. At the end of the novel, Feng Yao was pregnant with a girl. By then, Mo Xi's son was already 3 or 4 yrs old.

Yes, in the novel Wen De dies protecting Mo Xi. In the novel, Wen De is less chivalrous. E.g. he raped Mo Xi. So she has a love-hate relationship with him. But when he died, she realises how much he meant to her. In the novel Mo Xi has a son with Jia Gui born out of wedlock which Feng Yao is raising together with Jia Gui. After Wen De died Mo Xi became a successful business woman and she is accompanied by Xiao Wu (Weng De's loyal follower).

Mo Xi and Feng Yao got separated due to circumstances. They still care for each other till the end but lead separate lives. Feng Yao ended up marrying Jia Gui. Initially their marriage was based on mutual respect which gradually turned into love. Jia Gui has some feelings for Mo Xi but it's not deep and it's the out of sight out of mind kind.

This drama is so refreshing. Fast paced, unpredictable and funny. I like the day dreams and watching trailers won't help cause you wouldn't know if it's reality or imagination. The soundtrack by Liu Yuning is nice too!

Does this have GL undertones? Anyone know who the two female leads end up with in the novel?
I read parts of the novel. The novel is very different from the drama. The drama is only inspired by the novel. Not a straight adaption.
