I just want to take a moment to praise Zhang Wan Yi and Tan Jian Ci. They truly bring justice to their characters. Can you possibly love both actors at the same time? Not just the actors but the characters they're playing as well. I feel so regretful only to discover them now, but based on their fans these two rarely do the romance genre which explains why I don't know them before LYF. I only watch shows with a romance tag attached to them 😂 I hope they do more romance-related works in the future so I can see more of them.

I don't need to say anything about Yang Zi because she's always amazing in everything she does. She has her miss and hit dramas but has never been disappointing when it comes to her acting.

The love between CX and XY. I don't understand how people don't support these two. Whether it's romantically or not their bond and understanding of each other is too deep and strong for me not to love them. I still don't hate CX, especially after these last couple of episodes, if anything I support and love him even more. Also, I don't need novel readers to tell me what he'll become in the future, I will see that for myself when it comes. As for now, what I see of him is a poor, lonely soul doing whatever he can to survive in this harsh world, but most importantly to him, to protect the one(s) he loves disregarding his own happiness.

Same here. I also don't know why I can't seem to feel anything between Jing and Xiayao. They have the most romantic scene but whenever they're all lovey-dovey I'm here cringing at them lol. I don't know I feel like their supposed romantic seems so forced for some reason.

Right! I was worried she'll sound like Yu Shu Xin lol. Don't get me wrong I adore YSX but her voice took some time to get use to.

A crucial question, are the leads dubbing themselves? I'm unfamiliar with them so I don't know what their voice sounds like. Just saw the trailer and it looks pretty good. The FL's voice in the trailer sounds mature, which surprised me because the actress looks so cute and young.

I couldn't agree more. TSJ is just too one dimensional which makes his character "boring". It's like his whole life is about XY and it's "romantic" and all that, but life isn't like that. He might be the best opinion for a life partner for XY but as a character for this story he's not interesting at all. I can watch XL and CX by themselves without XY and still be captivated by them but with Jing I cannot.

Well this actress name is Yang Zi, and whomever that "other actress" is you might as well go watch her stuff. If you can't appreciate and like the main actors in a drama then you most likely will not enjoy the drama as a whole so might as well not watch it.

With you on having Yang Zi and Zhang Wan Yi in another drama where they'll have their own happy ending. As for LYF, I'll just appreciate them for their great performance.

As much as I like Dilraba, Yang Zi was meant to play Xiao Yao. I can't imagine anyone else.

The Legend of Anle is a disappointment that I don't want to talk about. I just feel sorry for Dilraba and the whole team. It makes The Blue Whisper look good and that drama was only okay.

Same here. I love Dylan Wang after LBDAF but Evernight was meant for Chen Feiyu and I just couldn't connect with Dylan for that role.

You're not the only one. I like him from the very beginning when the first trailer came out when I knew nothing about the storyline. I think I'm going to have a love and hate relationship when it comes to CX and XY. Zhang WanYi is honestly doing such a fabulous job portraying CX.

Yang Zi is my all time favorite actress. I love her since Ashes of Love. She has her good and bad dramas but her acting performance has never been disappointing. She's definitely one of the best in her age group. I came into this drama mostly for her but I'm also discovering some fine actors as well.

At this rate the drama really wants us to ship XY and XL together, don't they? First, the moon-watching scene, and now the underwater scene followed by a kiss (I didn't expect her first kiss to be with him.). These two honestly have the most beautiful scene together. Like I don't want to ship them but I blushed and smiled like a fool when they're together. Also, I just love the way XL looks at her. There's so much love in his eyes. Honestly, Tan Jian Ci is such a fine actor. This is my first time watching anything of his and he's amazing. I'm going to start looking out for his future project.

I still have a soft spot for CX. Their background story is the driving force for my dedication lol. The child actors really did their job so well. And also, everyone's going crazy over Deng Wei and Tan Jian Ci looks (And I totally get it!) but I'm probably the only one that finds Zhang Wan Yi to be really good-looking. I guess it's more of my own personal taste lol. Whenever he's on screen I'm like this 😍. It's going to be hard in the future when apparently I'm going to hate him lol.

As for TSJ, I just need him to be less of a love puppy. I know a lot of people would hate me for saying this but I just find him boring. I just need him to have some personality like his whole persona is to please XY and follow her around. It's cute at first but is this how it's going to be throughout the drama? I just need to see him outside of XY dealing with his own problems and being the real TSJ and not 17.

Also I want to talk about that underwater scene. I've seen plenty of underwater scenes in cdrama and they were never great but here it's so well done. The CGI is on par. It's not like The Mermaid level but it's still so much better than a lot of other underwater scenes I've seen in other cdrama.

I'm sorry, but how can I not ship them with an opening story like that of Xiao Yao and her gege? The child actors definitely did justice to their childhood story because I'm completely sold. Now I'm all Team GeGe. And the fact that he's been searching for her all these years.

As adorable as the beggar is I need him to have a little bit of a personality. He just seems like a lost puppy and it's cute and all that but it can be a little boring. He does have a backstory so maybe as the story goes his character can be a little more interesting. (His and Xiao Yao first meeting reminds me of the Mortal Realm Arc in Ashes of Love between Jin Mi and the King. Makes me miss my Denglun so much 😢)

As for Xiang Liu, he's nice to look at. That white hair does wonders on him, and I'm loving his tone of voice. However, I'm sorry but him treating her like that was so unexpected, especially when he knew she was a girl! I'm questioning all the people saying he's their favorite character because at the moment I'm not liking him too much. I'm hoping he's like a Tantai Jin and Dongfang Qing Cang type of character, beautifully viciously evil but becomes the softest to the one he loves.

As for Xiao Yao, love her character. Portray so well by my Queen Yang Zi. That's all I got to say.

Overall loving the first four episodes. Can wait to see the rest.

Well he was next to Hu Yi Tian in Handsome Siblings, and pretty much everyone looks tiny next to him 😂

Does anyone know where I can find the full HD version of this drama? I know ch3 youtube has it but all the episodes are cut in parts and I would love to have all the episodes in full.

I wish someone could reupload the English subbed version in higher quality because this is probably one of my favorite lakorn and it's so sad that all the eng subbed videos are in such bad quality.

I just finished watching the first 6 episodes and it was hard to watch due to the bullying. Like this poor man, I can see why he lost all sense of emotions and ended up being the Devil God.

And also, I don't see how the main couple will have a happy ending. He massacred her whole family right in front of her. I can see she's starting to understand why he became a Devil God but is that good enough for one to forget/forgive the person that killed your entire family? However, there was a mention from the Sheng King about looking for a doppelganger as he was planning to kill TTJ. So is the Devil God really TTJ? Will there be two TTJ? Is that in the novel for those who read the book?

I can't believe there are comments like this. If you don't like the way she looks or acts then don't watch. No one is forcing you to. Saying she doesn't deserve to act alongside these "handsome" actors of yours, her job is to act not to look pretty for you to judge her in such a harsh way.

Obviously, the reason why she gets all these projects is because of her acting ability. Unfortunately, you don't see her skill and that's fine but there's no need for you to criticize her looks.
