Too much stress. Minister Guo was arrested cause Li Yunrui shifted the entire blame on him when she was interrogated by the Emperor and CPP deliberately asked her questions so she would confess that she knew about Yan Bingyun's secret mission in Beiqi, She coveted the Investigation Bureau. The Emperor hated this the most, the Bureau worked directly under the Emperor and only him and the Directors knew about this top secret mission and she made it certain that there's traitor. She even involved Fan Xian in the matter, but CPP explained to FX that she has already lost the moment she mentioned that she knew about the top secret mission, the priority now is to find the traitor. Yan Ruohai told Zhu Ge about his plan to go outside the city and capture the man from the Beiqi team and asked for a few men. But when he actually went outside, the men he brought turned against him and Zhu Ge came out and revealed that he is the follower of Li Yunrui, showing his true colours. That is exactly what they wanted. It was funny when Yan Ruohai said "If you don't come out now, I'll really be dead!" Chen Pingping laid a trap long ago to capture the traitor and finally the day has come. Zhu Ge mentioned that his spies are keeping an eye on all the key figures, but FX and CPP came out from behind the trees. Shadow must have been standing outside an empty room for the plan. Zhu Ge is really one of the best and useful people from the Bureau, he meticulously prepared a plan, and CPP mentioned that even for him it was hard to find the spy in The Black Knights, which ZG mentioned later was in the army provision battalion. Let me be honest, Zhu Ge is a capable man, he has worked in the Bureau for years, he really is calm even when everything he did was already in their plan, he just calmly asked them Questions about everything he doubted. And it seems to me that Whatever he has done till now is just because of different ideals, the different Idea of Righteousness, and Li Yunrui took benefit of that. Ahhhhh just as he was about to kill himself Eunuch Hong Sixiang landed from the sky. But he still died and offered his last advice to CPP to not make FX the next head. He didn't want to be humiliated, he served the Bureau all his life, that was least they could do for him, by letting him die. The head's eyes were teary when he saw Zhu Ge's corpse. Eunuch Hong told the Emperor everything, and Li Yunrui was already kneeling outside his study. The palace's atmosphere was eerily quiet at this time. And the Crown Prince was almost running to the Study of Emperor.

Xiaojue was ordered to set off for Mingshui, while He Yan for Rundu (no battle there, Emperor's just seperating them because he fears their concentrated Military Power), While Yan He will set off for Huayuan. Chengxiu is already pregnant and Yan He haa to leave for the war. The Wutuo were continuously harrassing the Huayuan border and He Yan went there with Reinforcements, but still Yan He couldn't be saved, the poison already spread in his body. He died before he could even see his newborn daughter Muxia. Grievances, He Yan was angry, and she blamed Chu Zhao only if he hadn't sowed the seed of suspicion in the Emperor's mind about He Yan's and Xiaojue's concentrated Military Power, he wouldn't have sent her to Rundu and she would've been able to fight in Huayuan, if she fought along with Yan He he wouldn't have died. But now he's dead, Chu Zhao the military advisor have such a useless advice to the Emperor, and he Will atone for his sin. He sowed discord between the Emperor and his ministers, now the consequences are too much to handle. Now he realised that he was wrong. Mingshui needed aid, and He Yan went there to help him after clearing Huayuan. She reached in time to help her hubby. Oh my! That Sword exchange move was so cool while fighting the Wutuo Commander, husband and wifey they just exchanged their swords. They finished the battle of Mingshui. [Novel: Yan He prepared all the Military reports to facilitate He Yan before passing away so when she came to Huayuan with reinforcements she'd be able to fight, but poison had already spread in body and he didn't rest a bit, when He Yan reached Huayuan border he had already passed away. Till his last breath he cared about his Nation, and didn't think of ChengXiu or his child much, but he was sorry that he couldn't see his child. When she heard this news she was pregnant and almost lost the will to live, but she remembered Yan He's words that he was excited to see who the child will take after, she wanted to see Yan He's resemblance in her child, She was a really strong woman, she didn't cry when she heard about his death, she didn't cry, never cried until she was old, very old and her grandchild found the book and she recognised the book, it was the book she was reading when she met Yan He for the first time in their Youth, he had kept this book hidden since their first meeting, this was the first time after his death that she cried, and she cried a lot sitting on the floor, she murmured softly "I miss you Yan He"]. Haha are you kidding me? In the last 7.5 minutes they got married and The End. I don't know I just feel a bit disappointed right now.

The Emperor is going back on his word, intends to seperate them, an absolute division. Xiaojue's fashion sense ✨, the wedding dress is really Beautiful. I want to cut the Emperor in half with a Sword, he made Xiaojue read the Marriage edict himself, and He Yan was shocked. The Emperor had such a wicked expression, I really think sometimes that why are almost all Emperors in Ancient dramas such Assholes, literally you couldn't have your own love story and you're out there using your authority to ruin other's love stories. I can't believe that he was playing nice before and now's he's stooping so low as to threaten XJ of dragging his family down for a mere edict. Such a Misunderstanding 😭, He Yan snatched the edict from his hand cause he didn't want to give her the edict, she cried but XJ was helpless,He Yan misunderstood that he wanted her to marry someone else, it was that damn Emperor's fault. That's my Girl! The First thing she did was removing the Tassel from her Whip,and after entering the Palace she straightforwardly asked to revoke the Marriage decree and even said No 🙂↔️ to Chu Zhao on his face, she would rather stay single all her life than marry someone she doesn't love, and even Xiaojue asked that much from the Emperor for He Yan, to be given a choice. After seeing both of em, the Emperor was thinking if he truly erred. That was fun, He Yan gave a Brutal Rejection to Chu Zhao, that what he has for her isn't love, it's all just for his Ambition, his schemes. I knewwwwwww it she will throw his Tassel in front of him. She said the truth that he's slowly becoming the second Xu Jingfu. According to the Novel I was supposed to be sad for CZ's Maid, but here since the story has changed and they made Xu Pingting's story more emotional, from her pov he Deceived her, Betrayed her and Dumped her and now he was Betrayed and Dumped too (betrayed not much, that's his own wishful thinking that He Yan must have loved him) and she was so out of it that she tried to stab Chu Zhao but his made took the hit for him. It feels like they just wanted to end Yingxiang's life so they rushed this, like suddenly Pingting wanted to kill CZ and his maid took the hit for him and died, that's rushed, like they wanted to reduce a character. He cried for her, since they've been together for so long and he genuinely cared for her since he saved her (not love). Ahhhhh finally TaoTao and Lisu's marriage. Cheng Lisu is really playing with her🤣, threw her over the horse to the other side🤣. He's really giving her the special feel today🤣, she would've felt dizzy with the fan perfomance. HY and XJ are at home, and literally they can't eat in peace, they heard the sound of the drums. The Mingshui and Huayuan Border are being simultaneously attacked by Wutuo, no time to waste.

Just want to see TaoTao amd Lisu married already, she blurted out that she fell for him 🤭. And Liau properly confessed his feelings and proposed to her✨🤭. Their wedding will be held at the end of the month. XJ planned such a perfect date with He Yan, and literally Feinu did so many things today🤣, had to help his Commander propose marriage to his girlfriend. I hoped they wouldn't ruin Zilan's character since he was now like this at the end in Novel, but they changed it. And now he's so obsessed with HY that he's having a panic attack because he saw HY and XJ kissing under the tree, literally they're just ruining it with this additional thing. Fucking ruined it for real, Now Chu Zhao sowed suspicion in the Emperor's mind, he stated that General Feihong and Fengyun are not a good match, since they both hold military power and if they Marry, then it'll threaten the Throne. The Emperor called XiaoJue to the Palace for the Wutuo matter. How dare he!! CZ asked the Emperor for a Marriage decree right in front of Xiaojue, Xiaojue exclaimed "No Way!", like he's got guts to ask for his woman right in front of him. The Emperor really be like "yeah you're all my loyal ministers and you helped me eliminate a corrupted minister who wanted to usurp the Throne but still I'll seperate you lovebirds". I understand he has valid reasons, buy asking one of them to Surrender their Military Authority 😞, A General won't be a General anymore if they don't have an Army to Command. Ah so this was the reason for the nasty Punch on Chu Zhao's face given by Xiaojue, I've seen it in preview, but finally seeing as to what it was for. Chu Zhao you deserved that Punch 👊. HUBBY GOT THE AURA!! Man that was fantastic, he just punched CZ and even pushed him away with Force, ofcourse he's a military General, he's got the strength and CZ was slammed into the wall behind, XIAOJUE DIDN'T EVEN WASTE ANY WORDS ON HIM AND WALKED AWAY LIKE A KING! Xiaojue can't abandon the Xiao Army nor can he be her obstacle.

He Yan finally reclaimed her title of General Feihong, and the Xiao family's free too now. CZ was promoted to a higher position. CZ is protecting Xu Pingting from all this, since she wasn't aware of any evil deeds of her father moreover it was like pity towards her, since his mother died asking for help, he didn't want to see the same thing again. He Yan couldn't even spend a hour with her mother, she died right after the Villains were accused. He Yan seems happy to meet her buddies from Yezhou Garrison, finally she's happy. Now everyone knows she's the real General Feihong. And I'm happy to see al of them together here her buddies, Yan He, Li Kuang 🤭. He Yan went to see HRF in the prison, The actor who is playing He Rufei deserves praise, he's such a good actor I almost wanted to strangle him at times, I meant positively, such a good actor that you will hate the character (never the actor). Zilan went to see his master in the prison, and literally he had only 1 request before his death, since nothing could be done now, he wanted Zilan to take care of his daughter, she genuinely loved him (although it was toxic), but it was a big slap to Xu Jingfu's face when Zilan admitted that he never returned her affections, Chancellor finally lost all his composure, this was the first time he lost his composure. [Novel: do you guys know that in the Novel before everything ended, Xu Jingfu married off his daughter to Zilan and his life became a living hell with her]. Wait a second are they really going to turn Zilan into a Evil obsessive sml. Maningbu was sent back to Wutuo, agreed to establish the trade market.

Fan Xian is not sure whether to dug the secrets out or not. Whole Chen Pingping is suspicious, like he already knew FX was the Assassin who broke into the Palace, and He has his spies all over the Capital. I really like how Wan'er was teasing Fan Xian about acting like a Eunuch. He's entering the Palace with Wan'er and will put the fake key in the hidden compartment of Empress Dowager's bed.Atleast the Eldest Princess noticed the time gap between the two Assassins appearance in the Palace, she found out that the Assassin must have only been passing by her palace, and came to do something else. Literally Wuzhu and FX left the others confused (few) the Eldest Princess came to the conclusion that both Assassins work for the Empress Dowager. FX asked Wuzhu to distrubute the papers all over the city and CPP found that FX is behind it, FX really paid the least attention to the Eighth Division who's responsible for the publication of books, and the director of that department personally checked everything about the paper and concluded that it's FX's bookstore. I still can't understand whether CPP is good or evil, man his character is written so nicely it's hard to find a flaw. He came to the Fan Residence to meet FX, and outrightly said that it's you who's behind these papers 📜, and it seems like CPP is well aware of every move of FX. He asked FX about what he wanted to do with Li Yunrui, and FX straightforwardly said "I want to drive her out of the Capital". Ah at the end who got arrested was Guo Youzhi.

The key 🗝️ his mother left, and he took it back from the Empress Dowager's quarters, and that key literally saved Fan Xian, Xiaoyi was damn sure that it was FX and his skills gives him the confidence to accuse the person, he's an Amazing Archer (I know Ninth Dan). Too much information for my brain to process. Fx and Wuzhu finally opened the box and do you know what was inside? Ammunition, destructive Weapon. Fan Xian was quite shocked to see it, there was a letter for Wuzhu, She wanted him to be happy, and destroy the box if she died, She cared for Wuzhu, and asked FX in letter to be nice to him. I have too many questions about the letter his mother left for him, and Oh mannnn! I need details, I can't process the information, something like their time, mordern society (their timeline) was frozen and she was revived then she came into this world, and something about FX entering the forbidden door, something about data experiment. I'm so confused I hope I'll get the details about it. She mentioned the dangerous secrets are buried under the Pond of the Taiping Residence.

It was fun to watch the hamburger 🍔 game, I had so much fun watching them running in their meat slice costume and Zulan's head was barely visible because of his height🤣. Since Huang Bo and Angela Baby were unable to complete the secret task, they were given the king size name tags 🤣. Lu Han's name tag was ripped first, he was careless and let his guard down. And Li Chen's was even funny, the blue team ambushed him🤣. And the most unexpected team won the name tag ripping game Chen He and Wang Zulan😂. But The team who won today was another.

The Beginning is really good!! Tian Xiwei playing Wu Zhen who is the Cat Lord of the Demon Market of Chang'an 🎭. While Xu Kai playing Mei Zhuyu, he's playing his character really well, a man of few words, totally simple yet principled, A Taoist Priest, who's extremely powerful ☯️. The episode started with Wu Zhen chasing a Demon at night wearing a long hood. The Demon escaped but she transformed into a cat 🐈 and went inside the Ruyi House to her assistant Hu Zhu, a Fox Demon 🦊. I'm satisfied with the casting, visuals and special effects, they did such a good job!! The Young Marquis proposed marriage but Wu Zhen kicked him from the second floor and he fell on his cart full of betrothal gifts, that was where Mei Zhuyu first saw the mesmerizing beauty of Lady Wu Zhen. After that She ordered for eligible men and women to be invited to her Birthday Banquet, to catch the Demon. Mei Si, Mei Zhuyu's cousin took him to the banquet, where Wu Zhen first saw Mei Zhuyu. She trapped the Demon and took him to the Demon underworld and found out that this one is innocent, his companion is the one who's wrecking havoc in Chang'an. She plans to find some clues about that Demon in the Investigation Bureau, that is where MZY works and he's like an iceberg 🧊. I'm excited for the episodes ahead.

While He Rufei's side of story was shown in the temple where Xu Jingfu came to meet him, and they planned the Mingshui Battle and He Yan's death. While he tells his father He Yan is alive and will be returning to the Capital soon and he won't let her enter the Capital (kill her before entering the Capital). CZ is has dropped facade with Xu Pingting and doesn't want to even see her (she's an evil character) and just a trouble maker. But she was whining to her father (Chancellor ) about CZ's maid (and Xu Jingfu even warned CZ). I just can't stop laughing at what Xiao Dudu is doing right now 🤣. Literally Feinu would be thinking like "ARE YOU REALLY MAKING ME ASK HER EVERYTHING THAT YOU SHOULD BE ASKING HER??" 🤣 When they were at an inn having lunch they were talking about going home, but since He Yan doesn't have a home anymore, XJ wanted to take her to his home. But guess what he just picked up his sword and unsheathed it (signalling with eyes, Feinu to ask her where she'll stay in the Capital?)🤣. Then when her reaction was that I'll stay in an inn, XJ tapped his fingers kn the table gesturing to Feinu to do something 🤣. He's being so funny🤣. Seeing his Master smile Feinu was happy too🤭. She'll be staying at the Xiao Residence. Ah He Rufei sent quite some men to kill He Yan but the three of them (HY, XJ, Feinu) fought majestically. I love this trio✨. Finally a good fight (although the main theme of this drama was supposed to be fighting wars but they changed it and now there are even less fighting scenes). I feel bad for CZ, he knows that Chancellor wants his daughter to be happy and that particular daughter is head over heels for CZ (she can even kill a person for him), and since XJF warned him about his maid (she wasn't just a maid, in the novel, it was said that he saved her and she was utmost loyal to CZ, and he always treated her right, although she liked her master, but never crossed the line, her end in novel was extremely sad). He has to spend time with the Chancellor's daughter just so he won't upset his Master again. But in CZ's absence she was looking through the painting scrolls and found He Yan's painting. XJ and HY, Finally they're home, He's caring for her🤭. I hope she'll give an additional punch and kick to HRF.

From my pov this has to be the most intense episode till now, it'll change as I will watch further episodes, but for now this was the best till now. Picking up where I left it before. Fan Xian deliberately got drunk, to the point he couldn't even stand straight. And when The Literary Giant from Beiqi, ZY tried to frame him, Fan Xian being drunk recited so many poems, and more than a 100 characters filled the scrolls, the Writers were tired from writing all the poems he recited non stop, they were all in awe seeing Fan Xian like this. Has to be the best reply for what ZY did, the Emperor was pleased. Since Nanqing was found with Military Forces, it was far behind in Civil Administration as compared to Beiqi. And they declared Fan Xian as a Poetry Genius. He passed out in front of everyone in the banquet hall, and was carried home and escorted by Imperial Guards. He did it all deliberately, and when he reached his room he ordered Ruoruo to keep watch and prevent anyone from entering his room since he'll be gone, infiltrating into the Imperial Harem, and Wuzhu told him to be careful of Yang Xiaoyi (yang or yan, I don't remember). Amazing to see the exchange of moves between Wuzhu and Eunuch Hong. While Fan Xian saw someone suspicious and was eavesdroping on ZM's and Princess Royal 's conversation. He heard that the dangerous Prisoner under the Investigation bureau, Xiao an, was ZY's brother. In the last few minutes, the tension was intense, Fan Xian had to escape while Yan Xiaoyi stood at the highest place with his bow and arrow 🏹 in position to shoot any intruder. And he did aimed towards Fan Xian, although I think he definitely had some armor, but he still might have felt the impact of his Arrow (since he's a Ninth Dan Archer). To be honest among all the weapon users, be it Spear users, Swordsman, Axe users, Whip Users, but Archers are the coolest, they got the Aura, especially the actor who's playing Yan Xiaoyi, that character suits him. Fangirling fine, he deserves the title of a "HOTTIE ARCHER".

She was trying to secretly leave the Camp, but her friends (better as friends than subordinates) asked her that they'll go together with her, ahhhhhhhhh when did they found out that she's a woman. I love all her buddies, they kept her secret so she wouldn't be expelled 🤭. The face card so good (Jiang Jiao). Even Chu Zhao stepped forward and said I'll go with you all. They all left with their horses. She is well aware that He Rufei planned this all to eliminate her along with Li Kuang. Since they couldn't enter from the front, she led them to the secret tunnel to enter the city. Li Kuang thought the intruders were reinforcements and went to salute General Feihong, it was such a good scene when He Yan turned back to face him. Even Li Kuang thought that her body figure looks similar to General Feihong. When she pushed Li Kuang and used the grappling skills on him, he was shocked to see General Feihong's grappling technique. I really wished that she would say I'm General Feihong (impossible task). But she didn't disclose anything and made an excuse that she served under General Wang Qi who taught her about the secret tunnel and grappling technique. Li Kuang was so impressed by He Yan's skills. She suggested attacking instead of defending. She strictly told him to stop waiting for He Rufei, and told him about the death of the seven Deputy Generals. Told him that He Rufei won't come. She asked him about the Wutuos movements. I remember this arrow thing (She skillfully took the Arrows from Wutuos). Rundu has been fighting for days and is at its limit, even the soldiers morale is down, the Wutuos assessed the city's defence and seems like they're preparing for a full scale assault. Their Army's arrows dwindled and they don't have much weapons, while Wutuos have plentiful. She proposed a plan to kill two birds with one stone. [I wanted to see this, I've waited so long for this❤️]. He Yan proposed to use straw dummies and dress them in Armor then make it seem like soldiers are descending from the City wall, since it was night Wutuos wouldn't be able to spot the difference between real and fake, and will shoot arrows, Rundu soldiers will pull out the arrows and repeat the procedure again and again to collect as many arrows as possible. Li Kuang can finally see hope in this battle. [Novel: they did this for a few days, then after the Wutuos realised that these were dummies and not actual soldiers, it was already late]. Finally The Wutuo Commander realised that when these soldiers were shot, there were no screams, so he gave the order to Stop shooting the arrows. [Novel: After doing this Straw dummy thing for a few days, when Wutuos finally let their guard down, then that was the moment He Yan was waiting for, this time Real Soldiers descended down the City Wall, He Yan was leading 500 Elites and sneaked into the enemy camp midnight and burnt their Granary and saved the enslaved women]. And Wutuo Commander ordered them to just shoot a few arrows and stop cause they won't be giving them arrows for free again. This time He Yan along with Other Soldiers descended down the wall. CZ was praying for Her safety (I don't hate you but she just friendzoned you). While lurking in the shadows, they heard the cries of women sling for help. He Yan ordered her men that we'll burn the Granaries and save these women too, set the fire first, and rescue them in the Chaos. She emerged through the fire (an amazing scene, they did a good job). She stood in front of the enemies with the mask and her sword Qinglang. It was said that, He Yan could use any weapon she was presented with, but her Sword skills surpassed them all. The Wutuo commander was suspicious if it's General Feihong because of her sword technique and Qinglang. She perfectly sowed discord between He Rufei and the Wutuos. Tbh what CZ thinks about HY is amazing. After XJ returned to Camp he immediately ordered Feinu to gather troops to lead them to Rundu, and he knew that if He Yan is away from the Camp then she's headed to Rundu. Finallllly He Yan and her soldiers returned gloriously, Li Quang got emotional when he saw He Yan in mask, immediately misunderstood and thought she was General Feihong. Li Kuang really gotta learn some lessons from He Yan, treating those women like shit, but He Yan was disappointed in him. Ahhhh it ended too quickly, just 39 minutues I got 😭. I can't wait for the next episode.

XJ saw HY (he knows she can't be the person who would take so many lives) and ordered Feinu to go to the Capital to look into He Rufei and what he did before Mingshui Battle, and keep an eye on his every move. He Yan is asking Jiang (spear), since he was from escorting agency, he could ask around about who went in and out of Yuhua Temple where He Yan from He family was resting. A subordinate informed He Rufei that a Formidable Female General fought alongside General Fengyun, and HRF is suspicious if it's her. Mf I really dont know what else to say he just said "Whether she's HY or not doesn't matter, she has to die", like who the hell you to decide who lives or dies. HY has been running for hours in training field, and didn't want to stop even if her group of recruits asked her to, I remember she said while the investigation thing is going on, she'll need to hone her skills till then. And she's practicing Archery (basically tormenting herself to the point that she wouldn't be able to think about unnecessary things). I know that Zilan (CZ) doesn't like Xu Pingting but he have to maintain the facade in her presence, that they have a good relationship, his master Xu Jingfu already suspects him about the matter of Chai Anxi, but CZ managed the situation, while pointing out that XJ left Yezhou without permission, a punishable offence. Oh my CZ's life is in Xu Jingfu's hands, he has ordered his men to hide near, and when he drops the bracelet in his hand they're supposed to kill CZ. CZ decided to tell him that Anxi told them that XJF is the mastermind behind the Mingshui Battle, if CZ didn't tell him the truth he would've killed CZ to silence him. He told XJF that a young officer performed really well in this battle, and they'll make sure that the young officer is rewarded while XJ will face punished, then Veteran troops will definitely grow discontent, then conflicts arise, making XJ look incompetent in leading the troops. The moment was intense, Xu Jingfu was deciding whether to let CZ live or kill him, but his daughter entered the room at the right time, he didn't want to show his true colours in front of her. And let his spoiled daughter take Zilan away. HRF is suggesting eliminating XJ using the same method they used on XJ's father, colluding with Wutuos. He has devised a plan, Making the Wutuos attack Huayuan, he'll volunteer to fight and stage a show with the Wutuo Army while secretly give them Rundu's Military Defense Map in Secret so they'll launch a surprise attack on Rundu and when Rundu pleads for help he'll delay reinforcements. XJ definitely won't sit back and do nothing, and when XJ goes to Rundu they'll set a trap and kill him there. [IN THE NOVEL: He Rufei killed all her trusted subordinates who were close to her, and could spot differences that the masked person was different than before, and when she heard about it, she was devastated]. He Rufei plans to kill all her trusted 7 Warriors in Huayuan Battle, while the 8th one is the Governs the Rundu Garrison. He's suspecting that He Yan is alive and he will kill her Seven Warriors in Huayuan while using the one in Rundu as bait to lure her in Rundu to save him and plans to kill her there but if she is truly dead then it'll still be beneficial to him. He Yan is furious, she found out that that He Rufei was in cahoots with Xu Jingfu, they planned it all long ago, she's practicing her sword skills (literally venting out her anger) on the training logs, splitting them in half⚔️, while XJ was quietly watching her from far🫠. He really cares about her😭, he remembers everything He Yan did for the camp and him till now, he even left medicine for her in her room. The Emperor has sent Yan He and Chu Zhao to Yezhou Garrison. CZ told the emperor about Jiyang Battle (literally filtered it all), and told him about He Yan(a brave soldier), who fought alongside General Fengyun, and asked for a higher position, Minister of War. CZ, he asked for a reward for He Yan from the Emperor, the plan has to be executed, tbh hitting two birds with one stone, he does harbour personal motives (so asking reward for HY is obvious) but the main purpose is to sow discord. The Attack (a show) has begun in Huayuan and General Feihong is leading the army to Huayuan.

Finally we've reached the part where they XJ met his ex friend (they used to be friends, this fellow promised XJ to help clear his father's name, but this guy's own father restricted him to not involve himself in XJ's matter and didn't let him go, and this guy's father who's an official even spoke in court against General Xiao). Hua Youxian, a person that XJ and HY met when they were in Xianchang Academy, and sneaked out to see this lady along with other young masters, [IN THE NOVEL: Even saved her lover]. XJ is asking Miss Hua to drink with him (HY be giving him side eye 👀), he did it to make Yang (ex friend) jealous🤣. [IN THE NOVEL: When Miss Hua was in Ruyue House, these young masters saved her lover from another mansion, if I remember it correct? And HY was left alone there with the Villains, she thought that no one would come to save her, but when she heard the hoofbeats of horse 🐎, she saw that XJ came back for her, remember the past HY was He Rufei a male for everyone, and the lover we're talking about, they divorced later on, that's how she came to this city, and back then when they were students they had dinner together all of em, and she's a woman, she noticed at forst glance that this HRF is a woman, but didn't tell anyone, later on she told XJ "This lady came with you again" but he was confused and said no this is the first time she's here, and that's how he knew HRF was a woman]. Haha, he's asking Miss Hua to come to Yezhou Garrison, cause they have many Brave men (Just to make Yang a toast by Jealousy🤣). HY observed that her hubby was egging him on (Yang). [Wait a second!! This Yang was her Ex-husband?? That she divorced because they lost feelings for eachother?!? I don't remember anything like this in Novel?]. Anyways I won't dwell on it, Yang started drinking, a lot, maybe because of the burden (The promise he made to XJ, and he spoke out of turn, he said to XJ that maybe General Xiao really schemed evil, and that sentence cost him his friendship, XJ punched him and broke their friendship). Miss Hua couldn't see all this anymore that he wasn't even willing to her what was burdening him and they seperated. HY mentioned his faults to him, he betrayed his friend then neglected his wife, a blind and foolish man. [IN NOVEL: Do you know they were bestfriends or friends I don't remember, XJ and Yang Mingzhi]. So it was understandable that XJ couldn't hate him, and even helped him and Miss Hua reconcile. It's hard to see HY sad, she was drinking (and you pour your heart out usually being drunk), but she was holding back so many things just sitting beside XJ, She almost confessed (about being General), but she fainted and leaned on his chest🥹. Morning, She wrote a letter to XJ and asked him to meet her on the riverside. Finallllly! Miss Hua mentioned about the Masked Individual who came with them in past, and XJ got bitter memories so he didn't wanted to say anything, XJ's eyes widened when he heard from Miss Hua that the Masked individual He Rufei was a lady, XJ was in shock 🤯, he didn't expect that. Feinu mentioned that He Rufei's sister's name was He Yan too, while XJ was recounting the memories searching for clues, He's curious about her identity, whether she's Miss He from He Family or the He Rufei from past. HY was waiting on the bridge for XJ, but he came in an Assassin outfit, testing her if she knows the Xiao Sword techniques, Ohhhhh myyyyyyyy! Her technique was so good🤭. She told him that for as long as she can remember she has been He Rufei, her brother was ill and they swapped their identities, and she didn't wanted to submit to fate, so she Joined the Fuyue Army, gained merits, but suddenly her brother who was supposed to die early, returned and stole everything from her even blinded and poisoned her. But When XJ asked her if she was the HRF who delayed the reinforcements resulting in the death of the 30,000 Xiao Troops & his parents. Now the angst begins along with misunderstanding, cause she replied him YES, but he wasn't ready to hear the other part about the conspiracy of Mingshui Battle. She gave her word that she'll find the evidence to uncover the truth, she asked him that if he doesn't want to see her, after this identity reveal she can leave, he has ordered her to stay in Yezhou Garrison until they uncover the truth. [IN THE NOVEL: Bruh, they totally changed things!! There was no such misunderstanding in novel, he found out her identity after their engagement if I'm correct, then even when he found out her identity, he just asked her about it calmly, and she explained things to him that she was not involved etc, they hugged each other and problem solved, but that scene was so good]. She was venting her frustration, anger and sadness by beating (sparring) Wang Ba🤣. When they see each other, they're ignoring eachother (it's obvious they can't, hard).
