Haven't watched Just Between Us Lovers but it's now at the top of my to-watch list after so many comments saying…
It's honestly, (in my opinion), one of the best dramas ever. No pressure if you don't find it to be true for you, of course, but I thought it was brilliantly written and acted, and its OST was on-point.
Congratulations on a very well-written and enthusiastic debut! A very interesting list, thanks for sharing. Of…
Yes and double yes to your comment! I would add Hajimete Koi wo Shita Hi ni Yomu Hanashi and Colorful Love: Genderless Danshi ni Aisareteimasu to this list.
If you liked this drama, please rate it highly and think about writing a review for it. A 1.0 review was just left on the Kikazaru Koi MDL site by "Joy" and I'd love for some positive reviews to counteract that one. Joy criticizes Japanese hairstyles, body shames, says Japanese men are ugly, and said that Kouji was so useless that she would be better served in a pot of soup. Joy also made fun of Japanese drama titles, said that Kikazaru Koi is full of misogyny, and basically says anyone who likes the drama is stupid. And before anyone says to just ignore it, there is hating a drama and telling people about it, and then there is using language is flat-out inappropriate, way too personal (and targeted toward a whole group of people.)

So I'm not saying to respond to the 1.0 review necessarily, but it would be great for more people to review this drama positively and to help it maintain a decent score on MDL.
Sounds interesting thanks for recommending, I really enjoyed smthng in the rain, this one seems to be similar
Would someone who did not like Something in the Rain (at all) still enjoy this? I'm considering putting it in my queue to watch based on your article, but this comparison is giving me pause now.
Yes! There are some J-drama haters on this site and the rest of us need to start being louder to drown out their meanness. (I can give receipts to anyone who's curious, just fyi.)

I didn't think I needed to rebut every single point you made in your review, which is why I didn't counter your ridiculous claim of this drama being misogynistic. If you honestly think that Shun grabbing Kurumi's phone out of her hand (so that he could hold her hand) is misogyny, then you and I have nothing more to talk about. However, your constant body shaming in your posts and reviews actually IS misogyny, so there's that.
Just curious - why does your review say "dropped" but also that you've watched 10 out of 10 episodes?
