I’m sorry to hear you have a “strong distaste” for Japanese dramas - imo they often have much more mature themes than K-dramas. I’ve generally stopped watching K-dramas in favor of J-dramas, although Nevertheless piqued my interest (and by the way, I mostly agree with you on that drama.)

He's very good in it! I never saw the Korean version so I have nothing to compare it to, but I absolutely loved Your Eyes Tell.
Jungkook wrote the main song for the movie, and I've heard that they're friends irl and that Ryusei is teaching him how to box. :-)
