I'm looking forward to the 50s vibes, but is it just me, or does it look not too different from 80s Korea? I'm…
I was totally ignorant of what occurred in south korea in the 80's. I only recall the Olympics of 1988, that's it. So, it'll be interesting to see what it was like, even as far back as the 50's.
My theory is that the son was murdered by the cronies of politicians because Eun Soo-Hyun's husband, Kang Soo-Ho, was investigating corruption and was close to uncovering the truth. The closed front gate suggests that something was amiss. Crooked politicians seem to be a recurring theme in some South Korean dramas. The storyline, where personal tragedy is intertwined with broader political conflicts, highlights the personal costs of confronting systemic corruption. Also,, I love the new rendition of Louis Armstrongs, "What a Wonderful World". It's a beautiful song. Reminding us that despite troubled times we still need to appreciate the beauty and goodness that surrounds us. Any thoughts?
Haha, episode 11 is definitely light-hearted and funny. I'm sure the actors enjoy playing these sorts of roles. A break from serious roles is as good as a holiday, surely?
