the only thing I agree that girl being so weak and calling him and crying, talking about being ignored and being…
well then he got a lot to learn! Didn’t expect him to be so indecisive either. And she had dug her own grave and can’t get out, playing too much of the damsel, let’s hope they change soon! Hang around ✌️
I watched this drama out of curiosity. The story is ok, Yoon Yeon Seok is one of my favorite actors, so watching…
Main girl is the weakest link here. I can’t believe how obsessive she was at calling him in the car, that was excessive and unhinged. She should be more tactful. I can’t take her tstl character, play dumb but don’t actually be dumb! And yeah, can’t relate to this hero. His actions are not very convincing to what we presumed to be his character. So far the writers haven’t proved it to me that the two are sharp. Homeboy seems indecisive, taking too long to prove anything and not making much of any progress and homegirl is digging her own hole but plays the straight damsel. Or, we might just be left in the dark on purpose by the writers to make things more dark but a little light/clue here and there would enticed me! But I don’t think this is as cringy as 50 shades nor does he give off any mr grey vibes, lmao. This dude is a wooden stick not a driving one. I barely can spot the sexual tension between them. The heroine is new for me too, so not sure how I feel about her cute looks/acting.
just so that we're clear, he can't know that she signs ahead of him if he doesn't know sign language right ? I…
Not even a question. If we were to go by the trope that he loved her since childhood then he 100% know sign language. Who loves someone that long and not learn their language? The question is why is he pretending to not know?
the only thing I agree that girl being so weak and calling him and crying, talking about being ignored and being…
Honestly, I was wondering why it took him so long to figure it out or if he hasn’t then why?! Girl be making some unique comments and direct demands. Asking for a divorce and bringing up the sister, that’s wild. I’m sure he knows by now, got her all figured out and humoring her by picking up the phone calls, most importantly saying nice things about her. I’m looking forward to new progress in the upcoming episodes, and hopefully we can move pass the does he know or does he not know question. I was anticipating and more than ready for the writers to officially revealed that to us in this last ep so we can move on but seems like they want to drag it out. Leave us in the dark longer, they think to make it more interesting, not.
To each and their own! You are fine to think that. IMO, it could be better. I wish the writing could go more in depth, as needed, so per episodes can deliver more therefore the pace can move a little bit more interesting and with intrigue. As for the chemistry it is great but again, lacking romance scenes and not much of sexual tension. But I got high hopes so still hanging around til the end, I hope!
I'm sure this is not a triller at all. Yes, they add "thriller" to the genres, but this is the same "thriller…
Yeah, perhaps. A kidnapper case is probably as much thrill as we will get here but I thought he and she would be more quick witted in their dire situations but yeah, just my thoughts for now.
Warning, I’m not hating but I might potentially be making an unpopular comment. So, I’m still invested in this drama and will follow but with the latest episode I see the show isn’t living up to its genre? Or making much progress, I feel like the show isn’t one that attempts to move forward but now we are in a draggy zone? I know it’s still very early on so it’s mostly reasonable but I was anticipating thriller scenes and/or some romance but nothing had yet to be seen as of late. Surprisingly there isn’t enough actions in neither department. I’m getting frustrated at the leads, with the pace and the lack of story details. For someone who demands answers immediately, why does he keep backing off everytime when dealing with her. Call it love or whatever but boy, he’s definitely chill! And she’s just too damn weak. I get it she doesn’t have a “voice” but where is your wits and brain, girl?
There was a scene where his face is focused after the blast. At that moment i couldnt help thinking that he could…
I’m with you. He’s definitely involved especially when the camera consistently focused on him a millisecond longer and unnecessarily after the investigation talks…and the fact that he keeps saying the voice can’t decode. Yeah right, he knows, they know it’s ‘sis’ on the line!!! And he knows Ji Sang, too, highly doubt it’s because of popularity but more like they a team…
I barely started this one but I’m calling quits at episode 3. I just don’t get the story. They try to make the plot intriguing and mysterious (I guess) but it’s coming off confusing and frustrating! Besides acting is horrible! There is no chemistry between the leads considering that he clearly remembers her and has a crush on her? Right?! Surely older twin would be more fascinated meeting her again but he keeps coming off uninterested in her so far in every scene they meet! And really what’s up with the hostile relationship with the twin, one moment they are beating each other up and making threats then next they are exchanging identities. Why? At this point it’s so forced, why did they exactly need to switch up? Younger twin suggested it because he want money in exchange but why did older twin agree? What’s the benefits in for the older twin? Did he just like the idea or something? The story wasn’t really thought out and the heroine can be annoying as seen so far; also becoming his assistant as they all know she’s from the enemy camp just felt silly whatever the reasons! Perhaps the show gets better later on but I highly doubt it!
Oh my…What episode is everyone on? with the slow release I’m making a much slower pace at ep 8. The story so far has nothing new or interesting to offer. It’s repetitive with the office bullies and her brother-his brother and family drama. I’m waiting for anything exciting to happen but it’s like same shit, different day (episode). Neither do I see the chemistry between them. Not sure if it’s him or her but the acting isn’t charming/engaging. Mookda’s character comes off as boring and Euro’s character is not cute. Sigh…
I have given up understanding why, really. tbh some people just want a drama to fit their expectations and when…
This is a bad habit, yes I know, as I am not here for the show but for the comments 😅. I see a couple usernames that should not be named, but why is that when it comes to critiques it’s so unforgivable and should not be expressed, but if someone goes out their way to praise a certain show daily and validate themself is perfectly fine? I say, that’s just as annoying as it is for someone who is full of critiques and as for someone who is fast to rebuke everyone else opinions and only think their own opinions mattered. A tadbit inconsiderate, ironic and forceful, much? 🤷♀️
Once again AvenueX confirming why I no longer watch her reviews. The most downer of a reviewer when it comes to…
Seeing your post I just checked her out for the first time. Clearly, she has high expectations and very detailed-oriented and that’s where her reviews/opinions comes from. Most people aren’t, or at least it appears to be like that? So yes, general population probably will not agree with avenue x but I think she makes reasonable points.
You mentioned Hidden Love, while it didn’t work out for me, I can see why it worked in favor for others. It was too simple for my taste, but if you’re in the mood for simple and fluff-stuff then you will adore it! If you’re someone who only watches to be entertain then you wouldn’t have any problems, but if you’re someone who prefer watching to be amazed then thats when you will developed a mind of your own like Avenue X. Basically you said something like most shows that is shot beautifully avenue x is against. Well, there you go. For you and some, a beautiful shot drama is your highest standard but for film critics and adjacents it’s more than just pretty faces and stunning colors and angles. Script and the full execution of the story such as the what, when, why and how everything meshed together plays into it. It’s obvious not everyone is Roger Ebert, or near a film critic in these comments sections, or onto the same levels with their film intelligence so don’t let it bother you. We all operate on different standards anyways.
I attempted and I left quickly shaking my head. Honestly, who wrote this crap of a script and which idiot producer executed it and thought it was worth screen time? And which dumb and dumber audience thought the drama is a 10 in rating!
If I was the producer and team, including the actors and actresses, I would be slightly embarrassed by my participation of this show! It is that bad for me. It is not even the slightest entertaining, okay they are beautiful people and that was entertaining but that doesn’t take away from the huge cringe factor. It has the most silliest and immature tropes. It’s not even the rape or characters flaws for me but mostly the lack of creative writing and wits. They didn’t even attempt to make the characters or show clever. That scene when the second princess pretended to be blind to get a room was obnoxiously dumb. An overused trope, not even clever or creative in writing. It wasn’t even cute! Seriously, did they write for a bunch of three years old? Clearly, they already knew their audience would be a bunch of idiots and will not question anything from dumb to dumber. No smart beings should find this show’s concept and acting attractive. On the brink of rudeness, I’ll be blunt, only dimwits enjoyed and praised this drama highly. If you genuinely enjoyed it then you are easy to please. If you have mind of your own, then you wouldn’t be able to sit through it without questioning the nonsense! Sorry, not sorry.
can someone recommend me similar plots as this drama ? can be any cdrama kdrama or thai
If you have Facebook, you can join any active Thai lakorn groups or searched game of love eng sub on Fb and it will lead you to videos and posts.
Similar plots as enemies to lovers? Slap/kiss. I like the older ones, my all time favorite is Samee (1999). There is a new version but I didn’t care for it.
Fai luang has similarities. A few subbed clips on YouTube but nothing else anywhere.
You have to be comfortable w/ Slap/Kiss lakorns.1) They're not for everyone.2) They might have a r*p* element…
Not sure if you’re replying to me but you don’t even got to worry. I’m super comfortable with slap kiss. I have watched them all! That’s my jam, all I ever want in lakorns! Haha, but on a serious note I have been with lakorn since 2000. This is not new for me. Ep 3 was great, can’t wait to see the rest.
I dissagre the car camera was a brilliant idea in my eyes.
Ehhh, I still don’t see it that way. I personally think the producers thought to impress than showing us that she’s inexperienced. Lol. Her character is innocent but I see that she’s also very confident. I think it’s her, as in her acting in general or execution/production. Just my take. Because her dancing scenes in the lakorn w/ Mike was like that too. Dancing doesn’t always get executed impressively, and worse on actress/actor who are not natural dancers. I can overlook it most of the times but it always make me wonder that out of a whole production team, did nobody, like not one person looked the scene over at the time and thought it looked more cringe than compelling. Again, that’s just my humble opinion and observation, room for improvements. It is what it is. 🙃

How? Can you elaborate? Perhaps, marketing but I meant more like the acting and execution. I thought mookda dancing all over that car in slow motion didn’t come off exactly sexy. Then, she kinds of circle it and got literally a nose width away from him. Awkward much. Like who commonly does that? All I know if I saw that in real life lmao 🤣 But I get it, it’s tv drama but I do have a mind of my own and it tends to turned skeptical over extreme cringe and such plot scenes. That’s all.
Edit: car camera??? What are you talking about? The dash cam of evidence, right? I wasn’t talking about that! I was talking about the opening scene!
I had high expectations for this drama because of LXY and WJY and they did not disappoint in terms of acting and…
I think my comment rubbed some people wrong earlier, but basically the show looks promising and the actors and actress are doing a fine job so far, but you’re right the plot runs too predictable for my taste. I was not intrigued, nearly skipping my way through episode 1-3. Though, I thought I would stay a bit longer and give it a chance but sounds like the latest episode is possibly taking a dive based on your and a few other comments; so for someone like me who couldn’t even get into the beginning episodes, most likely I would only find the show spiraling downhill even more. I guess this is my cue to not bother watching something ‘not my preference’ as they say. Enjoy watching!
grave and can’t get out, playing too much of the damsel, let’s hope they change soon! Hang around ✌️
