LOL WHAT HAPPENED I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE 8.7 ON DAY ONE AND NOW ITS 7.9 SOMEONE SPILL and I know its cause its…
Well, since you asked lol. I’ll share my thoughts from what I observed so far from the two episodes. Obviously, it’s a drama and not to be scrutinized with human logic, but I do think the overused plot have yet to offer anything refreshing and witty. I honestly do not see a potential and think rating will drop more as we get into the show.

Right now we are entertained by the comical side, but I also feel like it is a snooze factor. Too many unserious characters, and as it appeared everyone is quite annoying and senseless in this world, no? Even the duke (main guy), which I thought was to be cool, smart and mysterious is coming off just like everyone else around him. Really main girl has a bunch of clowns for a family! and why did the supposed novel main girl admit to having a crush on the actual main girl, too? Huh? I feel like the original writer or maybe the screenwriter didn’t think certain scenes through. With the market scene, when main girl was acting out plan C or whatever to get him to change his mind, I thought nobody was to know about their involvement yet but here they were, publicly bantering about such? Surprisingly, with their audience of wide opened eyes and fully listening ears, none of those onlookers were exactly shocked nor wagged a loose readied tongue? Come on! It’s the infamous duke and a certain noble lady. It would totally make great gossips, if not the best scandal of the year! Last and not least, how come neither the duke or her servant find it strange that she, a noble lady, have yet to mourn her loss of maiden…like seriously girl basically told him it wasn’t her first time by poking fun at his obsession over his own loss of virginity! 🤦‍♀️😂

I guess maybe it’s this particular novel writer thing? I remembered the same in Hidden Love as well.
When I say young I wasn’t necessarily talking about in years but more so at heart. Young at heart.
But speaking of age, as you brought it up, that perfectly aligns with my other theory to a certain degree. Older people don’t undergo youth of today and only produce what they THINK or BELIEVE is cute, flirting, or dating style of young people. Just because they write romance all their life, their idea vs actual might not be the same. What they fantasize and want, overly exaggerating and thinking it’s perfect but rather coming off more cringe and unnatural. (When done wrong)
And, it’s funny that you mentioned Love 020, the drama version, right? Have you seen it? It’s absolutely a cringe factor for me. But I can see what you mean. The writer do have her own expertise in portraying young love and butterflies in tummy. It gave me chills…not in a good way. A masterpiece of cringe like none others. Too many things annoyed me as the logic and mentality of the characters amuses me in a bad way. I do question the audience you speak of that seemed to favor the show. I can’t get over the supposed college students that constantly behaved so much like elementary students. Not to mention the mean girls that try ruining the main girl’s image by telling the main guy that she’s a divorced woman…a divorced woman from a computer game. Like omg, how scandalous! Not! I can’t believe these college students were so juvenile and immature. And really, who liked this again? For sure, not I!

That’s exactly why I said what I said, lol! Because we know it’s a drama, therefore it’s not real and cringe! A women’s idea of love but at the same time mostly not ideally! if you don’t understand then you won’t, there’s a fine line somewhere there. Didn’t I say when it’s done right it’s less cringe, when done wrong it’s stupid? I have seen countless audience eating anything up and applauding ridiculous silly dramas because they are just that. I like to think I’m otherwise! Hahaha. Anyways, I’m a huge fan of the main lead here and main girl is gorgeous, great visuals and chemistry for sure. Not sure of the full potential the story line but I’m not hating on it if that’s what you think. I was merely speaking my mind of the written menstruation trope. Good day!

Oh, it’s cringe alright. Don’t get me started, a lot of the dramas has been very very cringe. I dropped so many but this is not about that or other dramas. For the last time, it’s not women’s issues being brung up that is cringe it’s the way we know it’s all for romance. sake. Underneath it all, a young
female writer thought it was cute to write such scene because girlies seek that kind of attention and attitude from a man. We all know it’s giving a woman’s fantasy! Nothing wrong, but sometimes it’s unreal and cringe. 🤷‍♀️

It has to be a female writer, of course. Generally, only a woman would give a damn about menstruation and it’s her idea of cute and romantic: that a hero isn’t grossed out but understanding of women’s nature. Also, catering to most women’s idea of modern romance, I highly doubt it’s for the sake of less taboo. Clearly, women’s menstruation is now used as romance, smh. That’s the cringe part.

I get that but also ML is a doctor so they understand about menstruation/cramp and whatnot. The one drama that…
Indeed he’s a doctor, romantically here or not, I was talking about including women’s menstruation as a plot device in several romance dramas. And before anyone say why so icky of bodily function, I’m not I’m only saying is that the trope nowadays? To prove a man worthy he must be accepting of that. Kind of a weird way to express a green flag but must be the “norm” nowadays.

Idk apparently I’m a headless chicken but headless chicken have opinions, too. Whatever it is I do think it’s because the writer or producer thinks that what’s attracts women, what they like in their men and yes they are catering to women’s fantasy by romanticizing a man very comfortable with that part of a women’s nature. Done right it’s not so cringey, done wrong it’s just stupid. That goes for anything.

menstruatal cycles are not the same thing as just going to the bathroom... there's no reason women should feel…
You’re entitled to what you want and believe. If you really believe you were “understanding” then by all means who am I to argue with you. All I know is that I have seen very similar trope and can read in between the lines of writers’ true intention. What you may deemed normalized is also plot device for romance sake. If you’re honest with yourself you will admit the same but really no need to go around name calling people headless chicken, lol. Goodness!

lol I kindly disagree but yes feel free to block me, I completely understand you may feel attacked or unhappy by my simple opinion/words. And you are entitled to think me anything as you like but I beg to differ I’m not here to bait you or anyone.

Not super bad or cringe but I usually don’t expect period making into dramas but lately writers are romanticizing women’s menstrual to boost the hero as green flag so it’s cringe that way. Not exactly anything to do with he’s a doctor or whether it’s a medical drama or not.

Can’t handle bodily function lol...but my main point here is that it’s a poor portrayal. If such incident ever happened in real life to a woman how would she react? Most women I know would be shy and damn embarrassed, no? In dramaland, it’s sometimes like romanticizing it. Homegirl is like I’m leaking, but don’t mind me it’s only a bodily function so how about we pretend it’s not happening right now and carry on unrealistically. But to be fair I have yet to watch the particular scene lol. I don’t know what the scene was referring to as I only saw spoilers and was it for medical purposes?
Anyways, I was simply expressing my thoughts about writers romanticizing women cycles and such on screens lately. Not exactly anything to do with he’s a doctor or whether it’s a medical drama or not. That’s all. Good day!

I hate to have small, small things that sorts of ruin a potentially good show for me but is it a trend for writers to write about women’s menstruation in dramas now? Leaking, too, for all that matters. The first time I saw such was in hidden love, and it was cringe. Is it the only way to prove a man is a keeper/green flag when he accepts that part of nature? I have never like toilet humor, and as some stuff like so it should be kept private. Or why not just have they next up comfortably farting and pooping around each other, too? lmao. I can’t with these modern writers 😂 just my opinion. Feel free to disagree

The only thing I m really enjoying in this drama are BJT/Sang Yan's scenes and screen presence. I love whenever…
He’s really good looking and all but neither main characters are doing much for me right now. I find them both boring. Also, the plot isn’t fresh so what we have currently is not intriguing enough to hold my attention. Though, I must say the drama is a bit dull, thank goodness it’s not cringe, but I have been FF way early on. I think I’m calling it quit at ep 4…

Title World Upside Down Spoiler
Am I imagining things or why do I feel like main girl would have dumbly slept with her sister’s ex bf, have the ex bf didn’t come to a halt? Thank goodness, he realized she isn’t her sister and stopped or else main guy would have a legit reason to be disgusted with main girl. Despite herself, she was pretty hands on with the dude in that intimate scene, even if she was forced to go along with her sister’s plans initially, the fact that her hands was around the dude in that moment was a turn off. Unless that was all in main guy’s head? Either way it should have been main girl calling a full stop than the ex. Also, the ex really did loved the sister, no? Maybe he shouldn’t have died and gotten back with the half evil sister, at least then everyone would live happily and stay breathing. What a messy and totally uncalled ending!

Just my two cents. Beautiful actress but the actor isn’t my cup of tea. I try watching and I just can’t. He looks dull and he doesn’t come off charismatic. She also doesn’t come off very charming either. It is obvious they are both acting...in a bad, cringey way. 😬 just my opinion.

Lol I should have trusted my instinct and quit this like instantly! The opening scene was just hilariously bad, when he hopped over the couch and grabbed her like a doll was cringey. Who are these writers and producers? What a bunch of clowns. Also, FL is not cool, I don’t find her character charming or unattractive, at first I thought she was going to be aloof and badass but girl is just doltishly annoying and useless. And there was no chemistry, that bed scene was so unnecessary and unmemorable it didn’t even affect him or her. There was a lack of a real plot, too, as she was then chasing him for a business deal and not understanding his disgust of her having “clients” and blah blah blah was just lame and dumb, like she is. Sorry, not sorry!

Why is ep17 so flat?It feels weird compared to the rest
Yeah I noticed that too starting from ep15. I have been mostly impressed with the main girl’s acting but it has turned dull and flat in the last few episodes…. I was wondering if it was just me or what happen to them but yeah strange thing

I watched forst ep then decide to fd this and i rhink I choosed right. Drama is maybe okay but for me looks too…
I enjoyed the first few episodes like a lot, but the latest ones was less intriguing. Something is off about the direction of the story and the character development. I no longer get her or his purpose, and where there should be romance there isn’t, where there should be angst there isn’? Maybes that’s all upcoming? Just my opinion Vin Zhang has always been a stiff actor, so I thought he was perfect for this stiff, uptight role but now at ep 16 he’s not improving neither in his love life or life goal so what else is there? Again, maybe is too early for the characters and plot to thickened? I personally found the fight scene when sang gi came to took main girl not climatic at all. I hate how she just stands there, I know she lost her powers but she could be doing more than that? And he’s so powerful but none of his power hits Sang gi. So is sang gi stronger than main lead? I was not feeling any emotions or pain on either side. And as much as I try to see it, I don’t find second lead attractive nor think he has any slight chemistry with main girl. She’s doesn’t even noticed him, her character barely engage with anyone else in the drama besides main guy…but I’m still loving this, hoping for all the good stuff to come soon! Happy watching!

i also have a bad feeling abt him. it just feels like there’s something off
After catching up with all the released episodes I am 99% sure, leaving 1% for any doubt , that he is the master behind the stolen token and all that related stuff. He needs chaos pearl for himself and to benefit the spirit people aka the main girl. He wants to save her when she was a slave child and now he’s probably working on that same agenda…also, I wonder if main guy is already starting to suspect his buddy. There was a scene in the latest episode between the second leads and main guy in discussion over the matter. Main guy seems to be listening but it looks like he’s catching on something internally. Clearly, second lead guy is giving himself away by knowing too much; he pretty much has most of the answers to their questions. Too knowledgeable to not be involved…
