So I already put this on my drop list at ep 13 but since nothing is on the current watchlist I binged skip and finally caught up. Wth! How did this series become even less unexciting and tedious? There is no intrigue or a real plot lmao. just an obsessed dude and a penguin girl. Her name reminds me of one and idk, she acts like one. Ranging from bold to shy and curious, resilient and tough but it ain’t doing nada. Officially done.

Jumping in, but I think it’s because they are implementing some AI, as seen of the cockpit/airplane scene. I didn’t watch beyond that but from that, I do see a similar wide camera angle to that of Overdo (Chinese republican drama) which a grand audience called a flop and distasteful+AI abundant 🤷‍♀️

Yeahhhh, Whaaaat?! I was excited and now I’m completely turned off. You right about the hair too! He also looks like a cross-dresser himself! I didn’t think he was going to look so…happy…er feminine. Well, that was the quickest 5 minute drama, onto the next!

Yeah I thought it was weird/cringe when the men were playing to win a dance with a Ms Nobody-her lmao. And for that time period she openly and brazenly said that no matter who win she’s belongs to her so called fiancé! Okaaaaay, Ms No Straitlaced Puritan. She definitely got center of attention for a min.

Saw him first in the familiar stranger. It was a good short drama series. Later, I couldn’t get into his projects and haven’t watched anything since

Lmao this is funny but it’s a metaphor! Nothing to do with scent honestly. He is compared to a tiger (a beast) and she is soft and sweet like a rose. Sniffing is rather a decent word for…Iykyk😉

So, we are seeing hints who is her real father…FL and her nemesis are half-sisters. Interesting.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience. Yes, it’s not bad at all. Just different than what I had in mind based on trailers. I do have to say the current pace is good to set up a relationship and understanding of each other not based on lust. He will see her for who she is, vise versa. 🙂

Yeah, I’m sure. She hates him and he’s singleminded. No doubt, at the end of ep 4 is when we saw him looking at her differently, when she was with the soldiers writing letters. That’s the first hint he might be interested but I am not feeling the tension and finds the chemistry rather forced. I didn’t expect that based on the trailers. They seemed to be so hot together lol. Anyways, when I saw that boat scene in trailers, I thought it was much later in their relationship. Who knew, it was even before anything started, lol.

Finishing ep 1-4 and I developed an opinion.
On its own, I think it’s a decent start but based on the trailer and my idea of it, it didn’t surpass. But it’s still worthy to continue! I will just lower my standards a notch.

Initially, I thought it was going to be a more serious tone, maybe we are not there yet but dang it, he sure is cheeky and Mr. Smiley. And really, I don’t know if I approve of their “light” relationship…like they’re already so close and comfy, I feel like we are already 15 ep in. I expected a long antagonistic relationship, giving sexual tension and sizzling chemistry. Push and pull right from the beginning, right now the existing chemistry feels half emptied and forced. So far, none of his moments with her comes off as he find her attractive or feels anything for her. No small gestures or expressions, perhaps too early or bad directing? I was expecting significant sparks tinged with a forbidden, uncontrollable desire from the moment their eyes met but we got lukewarm and not; but we can still get there.

While this one has it weak points, if compared to ATC based on my experience this drama is way more interesting and watchable. ATC was very boring to me, but again I’m probably biased again the FL but once more, I tried to watch but it didn’t captured my attention at all. Watch to see is how you would determine. :)

Vaguely speaking here too I also think one lead doesn’t quite embody their character. Even the littlest gestures goes a long way, ya know. Though, it’s not super bad but I just can’t imagine what if it’s a different person in place. Or if they act this or that way instead, the demeanor and delivery might be that much more empowering and wholesome. Oh well.

Haha it was decent then a little too much hyperventilating. It was the ghost possessed scene that got me cringe.😬

I’m on ep 11, and yeah the plot isn’t exactly cooking but just a grainy little story, pun intended. It’s not exactly climactic when it should be and no suspense? revenge trope needs intrigue and scheming, not flat and straight forward contents. The slow pace was expected but the repetitiveness was tiring. ML is everywhere but I’m not really seeing his development, he’s onto something but I’m not really intrigued by his plottings. As for FL, we just know that she’s cunning and plotting but not much action. And I’m not going to lie that first kiss wasn’t what I wanted for them. It was insignificant, as it was acting, forced and forgetful. I wanted it to be differently for them, ughh. Just a rant, not hating. I’m continuing a few more eps to determine my commitment.

Have she held her ground just a bit more, don’t drop her standards (don’t even know why she did) this dude would have been over the moon and pursuing her with a ring. But nah, homegirl accepted crumbs too early. She set the bar and he’s only keeping it low for her.

I’m pretty sure I said the opposite. Her attractions, as in what’s the initial attraction about her for him? I’m not convinced. So far, I don’t think we see him in awed of her looks, even that scene when she dressed up on the business trip we didn’t get a reaction from him. Or the scenes were cut, who knows? I don’t think she would be his type to begin with, but because the ONS happened and she’s found later to be enduring and pleasing and it befits him. Another scenario, she is his type, pure and simple, that’s why he was initially bothered with her (it’s not all about her lack of work experience) either way he’s unknowingly falling now.

Not really. Secret relationship can still bloom. It can still be a perfect healthy normal relationship where two people come together and learn to love entirely. Have both their hearts was in it fully. Others don’t need to learn or be involved. Despite calling it dating, we know and they know they are just F-buddies. That’s why disaster is imminent.
