lol I’m pretty he was also speaking of his heart’s desire. His character definitely is not one to marry for gain but only love, hence he’s single all this time despite being pressured to take a wife. He’s waiting for the right one. Also, deep down I think he has been into her since high school. Like a minor crush? He’s enjoys playing hard to get and probably with the mindset of pushing one away to protect them. That’s how I read his character anyway.

Oh no. So I was going by the order of characters as listed above and I thought Joseph Zheng was the male lead for Ju jing yi…so I was like okay why did he “‘married” the wrong girl. Why? But now it seems like I was wrong... neither male actors nor females is to my taste so idc but if I have to choose, I definitely prefer one over the other.

For me, Joseph Z. seems like a supporting character already but the Ji Ling guy is even more so! I don’t find them attractive. Ugh. Disappointment. Also, I didn’t care for the Dinner Detective theme aka Who’s Xao Wei among them. I thought it was lame and not enigmatically done. So sad.

So, I have to paused ep 1 to come say this. What’s up with the music? lol I keep laughing everytime that robotic chanting music comes on. It hardly goes with the fight scene, and it sounds so comical. I don’t mind fantasy genre but why are the ‘before and after’ fight poses so cringey and giving major game vibe. The Ji Ling guy and his partner be looking like some Final Fantasy characters. From their poses to wardrobe fashion, dang, that muscle top 😂😂

Anyways, back to watching. Need to watch more to see if I’m in or out.

I wanted and thought it was going to be dark and eerie but so far I’m seeing dark and comedy.

Yeah, I’m sure it happens. And you have all the right to assume so but it is not always that. Some ratings should be considered, not only when it works or doesn’t work in your favor.

Who is hating on her? Honestly, I haven’t seen comments that is full hate or near hate on neither of them? Can you provide? I only see mixed reviews, different opinions and various observations. Perhaps, your mind is overworking? And you only see what you want to see?

Lol as a ghost she looks like her host. Was she always a ghost? Or she died first? What did she looked like before? What’s her “real face?” lol I guess if she was always a ghost, she must had been born looking like “that host” anyways, so why not. I prefer her solely, even in the mortal world as she is her own identity but sure.

I’m only on ep 2 but yeah I wasn’t impressed. Here’s my two cents. Mine, I tell ya, not anyone’s so don’t come at me sideways, hardcore fans. The trailer was hyped but I’m not feeling their roles at all. She’s mischievous and nonchalant, but not ghostly/demonic/enchanting enough. I don’t feel an eerie vibe here. Others had done it better. She’s just pale and a porcelain beauty. Meanwhile, he’s definitely looking boyish and a sunny guy. Not sure if that’s the idea. From my experience with dilraba, she can’t do chemistry with her costars. I think Arthur is carrying minor chemistry for them. Idk, I’ll check out some more episodes later to see if anything changes for me.
