People will really just do anything to downplay a drama's ratings when it was actually doing well. I just don't…
I just feel like the drama isn’t mind-blowing. It has nothing new to offer. Kind of surprised it’s a 2026 drama . The vengeful heroine to rebirth (or whatever concept they are going for here) and marriage alliance to a frail prince (but actually strong and cunning) is screaming overused and expired. Uninspiring. Unintriguing. Boredom. But yeah happy watching if you enjoy it and deemed it well… That’s all.
I thought fl was sweet and kind when she was the fifth princess consort. Tbh it’s a bit difficult for me to…
So agreed! Honestly, I was FF by ep 2 and will be dropping it. I feel like this trope has nothing new to offer, and I’m a little biased with the casts. Physically MC doesn’t match and I’m not into their looks. Plot wise, I hate when they try to make the heroine so, so intelligent and has no personality because she’s too busy being lifeless and brooding. Like you, I much prefer the princess character. Sad, that that she’s not really the main embodiment? Why the merging of memories. Another drama where main guy gets his brother’s leftovers in a different form 😂
Meng Ziyi has been amazing in this drama so far. I have a feeling she's about to become another one of my favorite…
No hate here, in case one gets confused. But I can’t help but think this actress is typecasted as the reborn/rebirth/vengeful heroine. It’s hard to differentiate her character in here from her other dramas. Some actors tries too hard to look brooding, and loses the essence, aura and nature. Or maybe it’s her naturally. Her acting mostly consist of one bland expression. Speech is stiff, her mouth (barely) moves, face is expressionless and emotionless, she just stare forever with those huge eyes and it’s not killing it for me. 🤷♀️ To each and their own though!!!
Here’s my biased review, up to ep 4 I decided to not continue.
First, I don’t find neither leads attractive, never was a fan of her. Though, she has improve ALOT since I last saw her with Big M, her acting is still stiff. As for the main guy, first time seeing him, he’s like the temu version of Euro and Son Y. mixed together lol. He looks way cuter on picture than in action. As for the plot, it is too simple and straightforward. They nearly show us everything and explain every little bit of detail. Couldn’t they leave some stuff up for suspense/a mystery. It would be soooo much better to mislead that maybe His Serene Highness is druggie lord. But nah, they gotta take the other route. No intrigue, secrets aren’t secrets at all. Just a dumb policewoman and a simp prince overly explaining and reflecting with his lawyer about his actions and love motives. I assumed the writer feels like the audience needs to hear it to get it. It was very unnecessary. We know, we know already, and if we don’t, we can always watch to find out. Again, it’s too simple and straightforward for my taste.
Lastly, there is no chemistry. If there is, it’s because they bicker a lot but any other times there is no tension. Seriously, homegirl came out in the white wedding(?) dress in ep 3 and he barely glanced at her. Tbh, I wouldn’t either. That was no wedding dress but an inflatable fight suit! Those puffy sleeves were horrendous. I was wondering what time period this was set in, they have telegram and unexpectedly the main girl used the English word “dinner” for dinner. I wasn’t expecting that to be a household vocab for early Thailand. Sadly, a favorite trope down the drain.
If you’re desperate for a forced marriage lakorn, then it’s okay to watch, but if you’re looking for something really worth your time then it wouldn’t be this one.
it was not his sincere thought to marry for love he just wanted to give her a reason to reject her
Not sure if it’s mutual or one sided. And I mean it’s not like that with every presence, dude is probably really sick and tired of the queen by now. I know I would be.
it was not his sincere thought to marry for love he just wanted to give her a reason to reject her
lol I’m pretty he was also speaking of his heart’s desire. His character definitely is not one to marry for gain but only love, hence he’s single all this time despite being pressured to take a wife. He’s waiting for the right one. Also, deep down I think he has been into her since high school. Like a minor crush? He’s enjoys playing hard to get and probably with the mindset of pushing one away to protect them. That’s how I read his character anyway.
you should stop watching then ,no one is forcing you to
@Chen Ling Yu just because you blocked me doesn’t mean I don’t see your comment when logged out. If you have the guts to leave a comment, then have some courage to stay. Don’t leave so soon when we have just acqainted. Lmao. So childish, you. Clearly, my post is not your concerns. Why bothered? Why show your pighead? 🐷 I gave the same energy as you would!
if you don’t like it try finding something you do like.
Trying to! That’s how I stumbled across this one in the first place. Checking out new stuff to watch, duh!!!
Don’t know why it’s always the folks on here that are super sensitive and butthurt about the experience of another viewer. Always patrolling people’s difference of opinions like it’s a paid job. What a fine job y’all doing, keep up!!
Oh no. So I was going by the order of characters as listed above and I thought Joseph Zheng was the male lead for Ju jing yi…so I was like okay why did he “‘married” the wrong girl. Why? But now it seems like I was wrong... neither male actors nor females is to my taste so idc but if I have to choose, I definitely prefer one over the other.
For me, Joseph Z. seems like a supporting character already but the Ji Ling guy is even more so! I don’t find them attractive. Ugh. Disappointment. Also, I didn’t care for the Dinner Detective theme aka Who’s Xao Wei among them. I thought it was lame and not enigmatically done. So sad.
So, I have to paused ep 1 to come say this. What’s up with the music? lol I keep laughing everytime that robotic chanting music comes on. It hardly goes with the fight scene, and it sounds so comical. I don’t mind fantasy genre but why are the ‘before and after’ fight poses so cringey and giving major game vibe. The Ji Ling guy and his partner be looking like some Final Fantasy characters. From their poses to wardrobe fashion, dang, that muscle top 😂😂
Anyways, back to watching. Need to watch more to see if I’m in or out.
Who is hating on her? Honestly, I haven’t seen comments that is full hate or near hate on neither of them? Can…
Yeah, I’m sure it happens. And you have all the right to assume so but it is not always that. Some ratings should be considered, not only when it works or doesn’t work in your favor.
dilraba haters so jobless you should consider applying for mcdonalds they're probably hiring!
Who is hating on her? Honestly, I haven’t seen comments that is full hate or near hate on neither of them? Can you provide? I only see mixed reviews, different opinions and various observations. Perhaps, your mind is overworking? And you only see what you want to see?
I’m only on ep 2 but yeah I wasn’t impressed. Here’s my two cents. Mine, I tell ya, not anyone’s so don’t…
Haha you are funny. You’re still trying to tell me what to do. I merely commented, you’re really telling people what to watch and not. Now you’re telling me to not jump to conclusion. The irony. How am I jumping to conclusion by expressing my experience and opinion while you, who isn’t me, jumped to many conclusion and had determined that I wouldn’t enjoy the drama, now telling me to relax too? How do you know a girl isn’t relaxed? Geez, some people these day. But I’m not here to argue about it. Bye and Good luck!
Double whammy, dropped after the first ep.

I noticed it big time when she was fake crying, lips quivering. One would say it’s a pout but I saw duck lips for a second. lol
