Same. Unnecessary subplot. There isn't a need for the love triangle since it's been quite obvious from the first episode that they like each other. Should focus on the main plot, the dreams or visions, it's slow and bit tiring now, novelty is wearing off.

Honestly, I didn't think I'd like the drama at first. But after the first two episodes, I find myself smiling and laughing and just enjoying it. I don't nitpick much when the plot is interesting and acting is more than decent enough.

No, I don't remember him owing Methas money. He didn't even know him until that cooking competition. If I recall correctly, his motivations for approaching Methas to join the competition was that he has no money, no job, and got evicted from his place.

It is kinda confusing at first and most of your questions will be answered much later on in the drama.

So there are four brothers. They are addressed as princes since their father was the king. The first prince is now the current emperor. The second prince is Yu Zhan, the man who raised Huaien. The one who threw his necklace under the cliff. That other man is his right-hand man. Shen Wang is the fourth prince. The third prince is not introduced in the drama.

The young crown prince Shao Yu is the son of the emperor and Shen Wang's nephew. He's next in line to the throne, at least until a secret was revealed later on in the series.

What episode are you watching now? Most will make sense and will be revealed as the episodes go along.
