Oh, so that’s why they dubbed his voice. I didn’t realise he was Thai.
The divine doctor was also supposed to be played by a Thai actor and the one playing the doctor was originally casted as Zhaocai. Hope to see more of them in the future.

Yes, although the novel's extra chapter gave us an idea as to how they'd be living together, only for each other; it'd still be nice to see them when they're older, if or when Huaien goes back to the palace and become the emperor, it's a possibility.

I'm so glad that iQIYI is also airing the original version in Mandarin. The Thai dubbing was driving me crazy!
The Thai dubbing was a bit cringe for me. There are some viewers on YT complaining why it is on Thai, I had to reply to some comments to change the audio settings. I guess in some regions, the audio was set to Thai by default?
