Su Yin had set up two carriages, one with Xiaobao and his parents and the other one was a decoy, with him in it…
I've read novel. They have condensed most of the plot to fit the story in 12 episodes, so it can be a bit confusing. But in episode 7, you can see there are two carriages, one with Xiaobao and his parents were driven by Zhaocai & JinBao. The other carriage with Su Yin has a different driver.
Yes, Su Yin kept two of Huaien's soldiers alive to pass that message. In the novel, the message from Su Yin was: "You will never see Jin Xiaobao again in this lifetime."
I finally caught up on the episodes I missed, 5-8. Whew! Li Le and Wang Yun Kai are doing great job, the story…
Yes, he is that possessive. More context and back story is provided in the novel that could explain the motivations behind Huaien's actions.
True. This collab project is a trial. It is low budget but I hope it becomes successful enough to pave way for more uncensored better quality Chinese danmei adaptations. I hope more people will support it.
He's gonna redeem himself and change. He won't be the bad guy. They'll be together in the end.
He is a red flag indeed. He is flawed but that's what makes good protagonists interesting: imperfections and a good back story. He's been through a lot, abused and traumatized, no one has ever cared for him and he never wanted anything except for his freedom. So I am rooting for him, I want him to win, to be free, to love, and be loved.
Yes. The first half is light and very funny. The second half tho becomes dark. The story is interesting and intriguing. The lead actors are doing a great job. Plus their chemistry. Try an episode or two.
yes! did you realize that Huai En has the silver hair crown from Jin Xiao Bao? sooo cuuute!! :-* can´t wait to…
Yes he did. He probably thought it will help to placate Xiaobao. But Xiaobao will not see it as a romantic gesture. He is hurt and angry, and may interpret it as contempt and mockery, like Huaien's making him see what a fool he has been. This is the part where he tells Huaien to just die.
I think episode 9 will be even more heartbreaking as this is also when Huaien will finally realize that he may lose Xiaobao.
AH! I am so addicted to this drama. Did anyone find the carriage scene in ep. 7 confusing? Ep 8 has left us on…
Su Yin had set up two carriages, one with Xiaobao and his parents and the other one was a decoy, with him in it which was to misled Huaien's shadow soldiers.
Because the main cast are comprised of very good actors, it's easy to tell which one is a bit underwhelming, for me it's the actor playing the inspector, he wasn't quite convincing. Meanwhile the actors playing Tyme, Great, Korn, and Tonkla are all impressive. They're slaying.
I liked episode 1 better but plot is moving along, so there's that. I quite liked the interaction between Tyme and Great, it's natural. Ah their micro expressions.
