Why did you cry for Su Yin in the novel? Did I miss something? I may have to re-read :))

I usually skimmed through most smut scenes but I don't recall Huaein or Xiaobao removing jewelries or maybe I missed it. Now I'm curious and may have to read back. lol

💯 agree. I've come to accept that this has low budget since the early episodes and so all those didn't bother me. What got me hooked was the plot, the chemistry, and the leads' acting. It's more than reason enough to watch till the end. And they're really an adorable visual couple, the dimples couple.

In the novel, Huaein has completely changed after what happened to Xiaobao. We can say that he learned his lesson and finally learned what love is.

Su Yin is actually a good choice for Xiaobao. He cares for Xiaobao and the Jin family and has the capacity to make Xiaobao happy. But as long as Huaien is alive, I don't think Xiaobao will ever be *truly* happy with Su Yin. He will always wonder...for it is Huaien who he truly loves.

I want nothing more than more scenes of my dimples couple but the way the episodes are paced, I think 12 are enough. There won't be much left of the plot to explore beyond episode 12, but I do hope they include the extra chapter in the novel to show how much Huaein have changed for Xiaobao.

Best episode, yes. I thought it wouldn't be so painful as I already knew what will happen. But Yun Kai and Li Le did so good.

I'd like to believe that the people supporting this drama is in it for the plot and character development not because they support or romanticize SA.

Personally, I like the drama excluding the SA. I skimmed paragraphs when I read that part in the novel. It wasn't a deal breaker for me as the plot is far more interesting and intriguing. You can actually support and enjoy a drama but at the same time NOT like "some" parts of it, there is no perfect story, as such is life. As long as I know in myself what is right and wrong and this is all fantasy and fiction. Having said that, I can also understand if some people will not support this drama.

As for the "equate tying up with rape..." I have no say in that as I have not watched the drama. If some commenters here have said that, then it is wrong. Tying up, SA, etc., there is no excuse for abuse.
