We all have to admit that was so hot. Watched that scene a million times🙈🙈🙈🙈
That was 4 minutes of hotness. It was beautifully done tho. The angles, their expressions, those eyes, the background music, etc. But I'm not sure it was necessary to be that long! 🤭
True. But I don't think Huaien intended on disguising himself as a woman. Those chasing him couldn't be fooled…
Haha. Main reason is I am more into Kdramas, Jdramas and recently found my way into Thai content as well. This is the first danmei adaptation I've watched/read. I got curious from all the "uncensored" comments so I gave it a try and I got so hooked that I had to read the novel cos the wait was killing me. I will definitely give Untamed a try after this ends. Thank you.
The premise of being fooled by the gender is so laughable because it is so OBVIOUSLY A MAN. The “costume”…
True. But I don't think Huaien intended on disguising himself as a woman. Those chasing him couldn't be fooled anyway cos they already know him and would recognize him instantly. It was only Xiaobao and his two idiot servants who actually thought he was a woman from first glance.
In the novel, the male lead is indeed naive, silly, stupid, carefree, and is only after women as his hobby. Anything that is of beauty is his hobby. But he has a big heart, kind, caring to those he loves. He is even soft on his servants. He would risk his life for Huaien.
I have not watched Untamed so I can't compare. I would assume that some people enjoy this genre or simply wants to support this as we are finally getting an uncensored danmei adaptation. Personally, I enjoyed the first half of the novel as it was light and funny especially Xiaobao and his bodyguards. Them three is peak comedy, with most scenarios hilarious and fun. The second half tho, is brutal and dark and is not for everyone. The series is closely following the novel but has toned down much of it.
Peak going back home with his father is one step forward. I hope he grow a pair and speak up. Just as Latte said, he either fight or give up. Those are his only options.
My favorite scene in this episode was Latte and Almond lying in the bed cuddling. You don't see a lot of genuine…
That cuddling was so natural. Like I really felt their connection and love. That was the best part of this episode. Can someone screen capture it and add it to the Photos section? :)
Now hear me out. On another discussion Huain En is blamed for the Jin Family's downfall but someone pointed out…
The downfall of the Jin family was inevitable. The imperial court had their suspicions and it was only a matter of time. Tho Huaein kinda speed things up a bit. Xiaobao's father knew that the truth will be revealed one day and had planned for their family's safety and escape but failed.
As for Huaein, he was simply following orders like he always does. But, he fell for Xiaobao. Thus, he planned and made arrangements so that the Jin family will be spared from death. At least that's what he thought. His main priority was to complete the mission to gain freedom from his father's control and he'll return for Xiaobao holding on to Xiaobao's promise that he will be forgiven no matter what.
But to the innocent Xiaobao, it was the worst betrayal. Plus he was told that the only reason Huaein made sure they were alive was cos he is after the remaining hidden wealth of the Jin family. Xiaobao will go through hell and his love for Huaien will turn into hate. But once Huaien learn of what exactly happened to Xiaobao, he will do whatever it takes to win him back. He will basically run amok but he'll get there, eventually.
