Son's father, I think, who was shot when both had attempted to escape. I don't know if they wanted to imply is…
I think so too, she probably loved Son's father and ended up with the other man, that would explain why she is so obsessed with Son being Chanel's suitor. Obv she wanted it bc he is the most popular contestant but that still wouldn't be reason enough to not except Max as her son in law. Her being in love with Son's dad would explain it though
It is funny af, never boring or dragged out (8 episodes is the perfect length for this story), conflicts make sense for the plot and characters, good mix of cuteness and seriousness, decent acting, TutorYim have chemistry
Wouldn't call it boys love, more like a one-sided obsession but definitely a gay obsession
Moonjo calls Jungwoo "honey", made him a let's say..special bracelet and is literally jealous of his girlfriend. They also cut a scene from the original script where he replaced the picture of Jw and his gf with a picture of himself to make it look like it's him and jw...with the scenes in the final cut it's obviously only implied and up for interpretation but there is 100% something queer going on at least on Moonjo's side in my humble opinion. So yeah like I said, maybe not BL but queercoded af. I've seen people say that Moonjo has (confirmed) romantic feelings in the webtoon but I personally haven't read it so correct me if I'm wrong
maybe people just don't relate with the story or they miss LGBTQ+ content or it's just influenced opinions, this…
No it just makes no sense and the acting is good but it doesn't make up for the messy writing and countless plotholes. Sorry for having standards. This has nothing to do with missing LGBT. And I see y'all blaming this on "Lgbt obsessed" fans in the comments several times. Nice try but the lack of queerness is not the issue here.
I rewatched it after years and I simply cannot comprehend why I gave it 2.5 stars back then. 2.5!! Can you believe it?? This is so funny and good why and how did I give it such a low score bro after my rewatch it is now a 10/10 ♥ ♥ ♥
Been crying since the festival breakup song (absolutely cannot stand seeing Kang cry without crying myself) but when they showed that Moo has been keeping Kang's food in his freezer for a year...I completely lost it..I felt my heart break...Moo probably felt so pathetic for doing that but it just shows how lonely he is and how much Kang means to him.. I also understand Kang and don't know why people are so mad at him this week. Shone is a b!tch for flirting with his cousin's ex AGAIN but Kang literally rejected him respectfully several times so idk why y'all are so angry at Kang when Shone is the one breaking bro-code and overstepping boundaries

I really wanted to like this but...it's just not it. So sorry to the boys, I love them. But the writing in this...ouch. Also the plot was weird, they could've just gone with the MV stories
I thought it's gonna be cute but not outstanding when I first saw the pilot trailer....I didn't think it would be that good! It is unexpectedly one of the best BL series in the first half of 2024 so far ♥
This show suffers from GMMTV’s common condition - fall-off-at-the-enditis
And I genuinely don't understand HOW they keep messing up nearly perfect series with badly written endings so often...it's not like GMMTV writers suck as a whole because they CAN pop off when they want to. It feels more like the writers have this solid script layed out but towards the last few episodes something in their brain chemistry suddenly changes and they mess it up on purpose for absolutely no reason. It's literally not that hard to end a drama in a simple but satisfying way. Especially not when the plot is so simple.
Ongsa always assumes what people think, never asking them, and in the end she hurts the people around her with…
It is a personal decision. As safe as an environment may seem, it's never someone else's right to make that decision for you and take away your choice to say it when you're ready. My point stands no matter what.
Ongsa always assumes what people think, never asking them, and in the end she hurts the people around her with…
making suggestions can already be dangerous for some queer people. Some parents are so hardcore homophobic that even the slightest hint or possibility of their child being queer is unacceptable. She was just scared and that fear is justified because many asian parents who are otherwise "kind" to their kids can be surprisingly conservative in ways their children don't even realize until they're confronted with it. With the knowledge that book-mom was actually homophobic it makes even more sense and the choice to change that in the drama was a bad writing decision in my opinion. But even with the change, like I said, some kids genuinely don't know their parents' opinions on LGBT and are afraid to even ask about it without coming out because they're scared the parents will catch on
Ongsa always assumes what people think, never asking them, and in the end she hurts the people around her with…
They both assumed things. But the difference is that Ongsa as a queer asian girl has valid reasons to assume the worst from her parents and Sun has no valid reasons to assume that everyone will be like her own parents other than being blinded by priviledge and having main character syndrome. One assumed the worst for her own safety, the other assumed for her own egoistic desire to be the center of attention at all times.
Bro...I am so tired. Sun outs 3 people without consent, victim-blames Ongsa and turns it into a "you're embarrassed of me" thing and even guilt-trips her about America but Ongsa had to beg for forgiveness?? Even after they make up she still acts like everything revolves around her. Ongsa herself has valid arguments on why she stayed in the closet but is too much of a simp to see how toxic Sun is...frustrating
