Regarding power abuse and bullying, I heard some say it's exaggerated for entertainment purpose but some koreans said it's WORSE in real life. I believe it depends on individual experiences but I definitely know that South Korean schools have a bullying, violence and abuse problem. Some dramas like for example "The Glory" are based on true stories (that one drama alone was inspired by several incidents)

Agree. I am a big fan of his work. Everything has been a masterpiece so far and Last Twilight is no exception. However I do wonder why he chose to go with this ending. I thought the point was to portray disability as something that won't stop you from leading a happy life. I don't hate this ending it's just a bit fairytale like and kinda defeats the whole point about pity and independence of visually impaired people. I genuinely thought that moment where the surgery went wrong was a slap of reality that would tell the audience: not everyone will be "cured" and that's ok.
When I heard that Aof worked closely with real blind people on this production I thought he would go the realistic but hopeful route with Day staying blind and learning how to still be independent and happy. I guess they kinda did that during the 3 years of separation but then did a complete 180 last minute. I love the series but idk what to think about this ending. Then again I cannot speak on behalf of the visually impaired community as a sighted person. It's just what I would've prefered as a message
