I really wanted to like this but...it's just not it. So sorry to the boys, I love them. But the writing in this...ouch. Also the plot was weird, they could've just gone with the MV stories

Title Only Boo!
I thought it's gonna be cute but not outstanding when I first saw the pilot trailer....I didn't think it would be that good!
It is unexpectedly one of the best BL series in the first half of 2024 so far ♥

This show suffers from GMMTV’s common condition - fall-off-at-the-enditis
And I genuinely don't understand HOW they keep messing up nearly perfect series with badly written endings so often...it's not like GMMTV writers suck as a whole because they CAN pop off when they want to. It feels more like the writers have this solid script layed out but towards the last few episodes something in their brain chemistry suddenly changes and they mess it up on purpose for absolutely no reason. It's literally not that hard to end a drama in a simple but satisfying way. Especially not when the plot is so simple.

It is a personal decision. As safe as an environment may seem, it's never someone else's right to make that decision for you and take away your choice to say it when you're ready. My point stands no matter what.

making suggestions can already be dangerous for some queer people. Some parents are so hardcore homophobic that even the slightest hint or possibility of their child being queer is unacceptable. She was just scared and that fear is justified because many asian parents who are otherwise "kind" to their kids can be surprisingly conservative in ways their children don't even realize until they're confronted with it. With the knowledge that book-mom was actually homophobic it makes even more sense and the choice to change that in the drama was a bad writing decision in my opinion. But even with the change, like I said, some kids genuinely don't know their parents' opinions on LGBT and are afraid to even ask about it without coming out because they're scared the parents will catch on

They both assumed things. But the difference is that Ongsa as a queer asian girl has valid reasons to assume the worst from her parents and Sun has no valid reasons to assume that everyone will be like her own parents other than being blinded by priviledge and having main character syndrome. One assumed the worst for her own safety, the other assumed for her own egoistic desire to be the center of attention at all times.

Title 23.5 Spoiler
Bro...I am so tired. Sun outs 3 people without consent, victim-blames Ongsa and turns it into a "you're embarrassed of me" thing and even guilt-trips her about America but Ongsa had to beg for forgiveness?? Even after they make up she still acts like everything revolves around her. Ongsa herself has valid arguments on why she stayed in the closet but is too much of a simp to see how toxic Sun is...frustrating

Title 23.5 Spoiler
The ending of that episode was so stupid Sun just casually outing Aylin, Luna and Ongsa to Ongsa's parents, then…
especially after Sun said she was fine with Ongsa not telling others yet. This must've been so stressful for Ongsa. And poor Luna and Aylin :( they don't even know they got outed yet

Alylin's storyline is breaking my heart...but that' whole ass friendship group are green flags. Also Golf and…
I wouldn't say Ton is a big green flag since he has disrespected Charoen's and Aylin's boundaries once. But he's not a bad guy ofc, still wouldn't say green lol

y’all BL lovers need to seek help, it’s getting ridiculous that you see BL everywhere
Because this was about gay shipping in non-BL. Maybe read my comment again before replying so irrationally. People can ship whoever they want. Like I said, it doesn't change the source material, shipping is just for fun and all I said was it's justified to ship "straight" characters because of lack of representation for years.

I read some review. It’s so full of misinformation and spread nonsense without reading novel and series. Anueng…
I think people confused their 16 year age difference with Aneung's actual age and thought she is 16. They probably read "16 year age gap" and thought omg a 16 year old in an age gap relationship and immediately went to spread gossip cuz they love blowing things out of proportion

So, I've noticed a few things. First the casting director clearly tried to copy the look of the original cast…
Hi, I'm one of the few people who enjoyed the side plots with the girls lol
But I agree with everything you said about the young cast. And if they include Jeed and all the girls' stories they also need to be rewritten a bit to avoid portraying girls in the very outdated misogynistic way like the 2014 version.

ikrr , like they literally made no harsh comments , and all the performances were good too obviously and the atmosphere…
Yes and I like how the judges tried to give only constructive criticism that wasn't too harsh or unnecessarily degrading. Also no disrespectful judgy looks even during not so good performances. Hope they keep this energy throughout
